This 3 bedroom apartment is full of natural light and located in Baixa, the heart of Lisbon’s historical centre. You will be in walking distance to Chiado, Bairro Alto, Alfama, the city castle and all other historical sights. In this area you will find lots of traditional shops, restaurants and a supermarket just across the street from the flat. From the sunny balcony you can see the ruins of the old Carmo Convent and also the Santa Justa elevator
There is a public parking one minute away. There are several subway, bus and tram lines, including the famous tram 28. Its stop is less than 3 minutes walking.
If you wish to visit Cascais or Sintra, the train stations are also at walking distance (10 minutes).
The location is just perfect and this new apartment has been renovated and prepared to offer you a very comfortable stay. This is what you will find:
• 1 spacious living room with dining area, cable TV and DVD.
• 1 Master bedroom with a double bed and a complete bathroom (ensuite)
• 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. It has a beautiful view over Baixa and to Chiado neighbourhood.
• 1 bedroom with a multifunctional bed. It can be 1 single or 1 double bed
• Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, washer , kettle
• 1 other complete bathroom with bathtub
• Wireless internet included
• Air-conditioning in every room

The apartment is on the second floor without elevator. Parking place at a 15 minutes walk available upon request

IMPORTANT: Please note there is a TOURIST TAX of 4€/person/night to a maximum of 7 nights for all guests over 13 years old. This tax has to be paid in cash on arrival. Also I would like to inform you that I will ask for the ID of all guests during check-in.

Respecting your neighbors is always very important but specially between 10PM and 8 AM (the resting time)

After 9pm there is a late check-in fee of 20 euros and from 11pm to 9am it will be 30 euros.
A free Self check-in is also possible

This apartment is wonderful - very spacious, and a perfect location to walk to restaurants, transit, Rossio, groceries etc. Helena and her colleague Carlos were great at communicating everything we needed to feel safe and secure.

The apartment is amazing! Our family of 6 had lots of room and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The location was excellent and everything was provided as described. Host was always responsive and lovely. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Great stay in Lisbon

We had a great stay at this property. Communication with the host was easy and they met us at check in and provided more information on the area including good restaurant recommendations. The location is perfect, close to all amenities and tourist attractions. I would recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit Lisbon.

Lisbon city break

Spacious comfortable apartment with everything we needed for a city break with 3 adult sons. Great location with a supermarket across the street and easy access to Rua Augusta and the Castlevia elevators. Carlos met us and showed us around and left us with various restaurant recommendations which didn’t disappoint. Recommended!

Wonderful. Highly Recommended

We went as a large group of young adults and couldn't have been more impressed. Location is just perfect: central Lisbon with a taste of the traditional as well as the modern. And the flat is tastefully decorated and has all the necessary mod cons. We will seriously consider this place next time we go to Lisbon

Family Trip

We loved staying at this spacious apt with our 4 young kids. Helena was a very flexible/attentive host and very easy to communicate with. The apt was bright and airy and in a fabulous location! We were easily able to hop on various trains, trams and buses to explore Lisbon and beyond. Big pros for us as a big family was being across the street from a grocery store and having a washing machine in unit. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful Apartment in an Amazing Location!

Helena’s apartment was perfect for my family of 6. It is beautifully decorated and the location is within walking distance to all the major sights. There is a grocery store right out the door and numerous great restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are new. The apartment is spacious and the interior looks exactly as shown in the photos. Helena was extremely responsive and very helpful with information regarding our sightseeing. We highly recommend Helena’s apartment- you will not be disappointed!

A great 5 days in Portugal!

Helena made our trip! Her guidance and her apartment were the best!!! She kept in touch with us, was there when we arrived, talked/planned our week with us and gave us the best restaurant suggestions of our whole 3 week trip!!!! We really felt like we were staying in a friend's apartment...many special touches...extremely clean and in a perfect location...we walked to everything! Don't rent a car in Lisbon if you get to stay here! We will be back Helena....hopefully not before you come to see us!!!!

Perfect apartment for our vacation!

We were a group of 5 ladies on our annual vacation. The apartment was the perfect size for our group. There was lots of room for us to spread out. The bedrooms were very quiet even though two of them faced the street. There was plenty of hot water for several showers every day and night. Helena was very responsive in all matters. The location was perfect as well. Close to the Metra, a grocery store and the main street...especially once you get your bearings. We would definitely recommend Helena's apartment for a large group.

Wonderful holidays in Santa Maria Maior!

We ended up being 5 in this apartment that would be absolutely fine for 6 - it's very spacious, comfortable and having two bathrooms is a must for larger groups. The kitchen, decorated in beautiful period tiles, is well equipped and, despite of the fantastic restaurants available in Lisbon, we used it a lot, receiving friends to dine and all. The neighborhood is definitely very touristic and over the holidays was quite crowded: I would have preferred to come some other time of the year...but nevertheless we were tourists and there are a lot of must visit monuments and museums at walking distance. Thanks, Helena, for the lovely stay! We definitely recommend the apartment and would love to come back in the future.

L'appartement est confirmé aux photos. Ils est vraiment très bien équipé et décoré avec goût. La localisation est idéale au coeur du baixas, à deux pas d'un supermarché et de l'elevador Santa Juste. Bref, c'est appartement est idéal pour visiter Lisbonne.

Appartement très spacieux et agréable

Appartement très spacieux et agréable, idéalement situé par rapport aux point d’intérêts à visiter dans Lisbonne. On peut tout faire à pied. Supermarché à 100 m. Des bons restaurants à proximité également. Grande cuisine très fonctionnelle, table et bancs dans le salon pour manger. 2 chambres (coté rue) et 1 chambre (coté cours). Pour les 2 chambres côté cours, nous avons eu une nuit un difficile, à cause d'une boite de nuit à proximité, mais c'était qu'une fois (sur 5 nuits passés dans l'appartement). C'est le seul point un peu négatif de notre séjour, si non on était super bien dans ce logement. Accueil très sympathique de Carlos, malgré notre arrivée tardive, et des réponses toujours rapides d'Helena.

D'abord, il faut remercier Héléna pour son accueil. Toujours disponible avec le sourire, elle répond à toutes nos attentes. L'appartement est idéalement placé. La majorité des visites peut se faire à pieds. Pour les points plus éloignés, les trams, bus trains sont vraiment très proches. Le logement répond à la description, grand, propre et bien décoré. Très agréable à vivre. À recommander. BT

Bon séjour à Lisbonne

Aucune surprise en arrivant dans l'appartement, les photos sur le site sont très fidèles. L'appartement est grand, haut de plafond, très agréable et extrêmement bien situé. On est à deux pas de tout, dans un quartier magnifique. La propriétaire est fort sympathique et donne d'excellents conseils, de plus, elle répond rapidement quand on a besoin de quelque chose.

Parfait appartement pour visiter Lisbonne

Appartement très bien situé et parfaitement équipé. Il est grand, lumineux et propre. Dans le centre de Lisbonne, il est aussi près de la gare permettant de visiter les environs. Helena, la propriétaire est très accueillante et sympathique. Tout était parfait. Je recommande complètement cette location.

Large apartment in the center of things

This apartment is in the perfect location for trekking around Lisbon. Helena was a great help meeting us there, orienting us and arranging a cab for our departure. There is no elevator to get to the apt(@35 steps) and the street is noisy, but that’s part of the old Lisbon experience. Would stay again

Fabulous space for a family, but

We found a few problems. While the bedrooms and kitchen and living room were large, comfortable and well equipped, the main bathroom had an unpleasant odor, exacerbated by the automatic scent dispenser. Our host was informative and responsive and the location was great in Lisbon. Note there is a bar next door, Club Noir, open weekends from 11 PM to 4 AM that is very noisy. Less noisy with the windows closed (even though we wanted them open to enjoy the cool breeze). Walking distance to everything, including grocery and metro. Our host left us a bottle of wine on arrival and arranged travel for our large party from the airport, with helpful hints on what to do in Lisbon. If the bathroom situation could be solved, this would have been the nicest apartment I have stayed in on my travels.

Hello Pamela, Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately the smell from the bathroom comes and goes because of the river tides but I'm sorry you felt it so much. In what concerns the noise I never had other comments about it so i never thought it would be a problem but I will see what I can do. Thanks again, Helena
