Elm Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

As you enter the cottage, the hallway is light and well decorated and leads to the good sized kitchen and lounge. The lounge has a window and French doors overlooking the garden area (table and chairs are provided) making this a very light room. There are two leather settees, oak dining table & four chairs, TV, and CD player and plenty of lamps.

The kitchen is again a good light room and has plenty cupboard and worktop space. There is a fridge/freezer, gas cooker, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave etc.

Upstairs there are two pretty bedrooms, one large twin room and a smaller double room. The twin room is very spacious and has two single beds (which can be made up as a super-king for an additional charge), wardrobe, drawers, and bed-side cabinets. The double room is cosy and has a double bed, wardrobe, drawers and coordinating bed linen and curtains.

The newly fitted bathroom has bath with shower over, w.c. and wash hand basin again a very light room.

The apartment is conveniently situated a stones throw from Booth's supermarket (which has an electric car charging point) and the E-Venture shop for easy bike hire.

Being only about 15 yards away from Quaver Cottage may prove ideal for two families wishing to holiday together but not wanting to be in the same house.

5 day break in keswick

Excellent location close to supermarket shops and restraunts walking distance to lake and parks accommodation accommodation could do with a good clean inside and out

Great Location for a walking base

Elm Cottage had everything we needed in the kitchen. One bedside lamp was not working. Beds were very comfortable. The only downside was that the house is quite dark inside during the day. Next door to a very good supermarket. Parking was a definite benefit.

a great stay

We had a great week at Elm cottage with all we needed. One bedside lamp did not work even with new bulb. A runner inside the front door would make taking shoes off easier

Excellent accommodation

Loved this cottage’s position in central Keswick parking for car very comfortable furnishings stayed here before kitchen good size beds very comfortable short walk to pubs and restaurants very clean will stay here again

A fantastic 2 bed self catering apartment, excellent location and facilities

Had an excellent stay at Elm Cottage. A good price, well situated, very clean and well appointed. Handy parking spot right outside, quiet area, very close to the shops / pubs etc. Will definitely stay again.

The property is ideally situated in Keswick: in a quiet location, with easy access to local amenities and attractions, including Booths and Co-Op supermarkets, and the rest of Keswick town. Elm also has its own private car parking space; these are like gold dust in Keswick! One of our favourite features is the coffee machine. Great location

Stayed at Elm Cottage a number of times as great location so don’t need to go out in the car as everything on the doorstep and you have a designated parking space. Only comment I would make is there are a number of excellent places to purchase food including the market but would like a bread knife that actually cut bread, and if that is sorted for our next stay next month that would be appreciated. The fact we have already booked again confirms a great place.

A good property that met our requirements

The property was ideal, central to Keswick but was quiet and had parking alongside the property.it was well furnished and equipped.The only downside was the miserly equipment for washing dishes.No adequate dishcloth, washing up liquid or pot brushes.Forget these gimmicky presentation packs and provide what is really required. On the whole a very enjoyable stay and would use it again.

Stayed here for Easter weekend. The location couldn’t of been better. All the family enjoyed it. Great cottage for a family of four.

Pleasant stay

Our third stay at Elm Court and would definitely come back again. Perfect location to explore Keswick and surrounding area. Only suggestion is probably needs a new vacuum cleaner.

Super Holiday Cottage

Lovely, well equipped, comfortable and spacious cottage in a quiet part of the town but only a couple of minutes walk to the town centre. Keswick Cottages are a pleasure to deal with - helpful and friendly and with abundance of local knowledge.

Well maintained and centrally located property

Stayed at Elm Cottage a number of times as great location and well maintained. Thanks to the owners and Keswick Cottage’s for the hamper as we had to cancel our holiday earlier in the year due to illness. We will definitely visit again next year.

Great Location

Second time staying at Elm Cottage. Great location, couple of minutes walk into Main Street but very quiet. Added bonus of having allocated parking. Cottage itself comfortable and no issues.

Great cottage

Ideal location being central to Keswick & Booths supermarket very close by. Large parking space right next to the cottage is a huge bonus. Very clean & comfortable cottage, being well equipped, cosy & very comfortable beds. Would definitely book again!

Great holiday

A lovely stay at this property in Keswick. It is very close to everything in Keswick but just far enough away to be very quiet. 5 minutes from supermarket, 10 minutes into the town. Elm Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable holiday let and very clean and tidy on arrival. Keswick Cottages staff are always available should you need to contact them, would definitely recommend a stay in this cottage .

We wanted a clean cosy cottage in central Keswick and easy parking…..we got the lot !

Simply perfect! Attractive and safe location.Squeaky clean!very carefully thought through to provide all that was needed but not cluttereing …….we bring our own clutter!! We loved it!!

Clean and in the perfect location

Loved being able to take the dogs. Not much to look at when sat out only the car park but at least there was a patch of grass. Otherwise perfect.
