Large apartment for rent in Florence located in the immediate vicinity of Piazza Santa Croce and the Bargello. San Firenze House is located on the first floor of a fine historic building overlooking the central Via della Vigna Vecchia.

This apartment is perfect for those traveling with their family or for a large group because it can accommodate up to a maximum of 5 people.

The bright property consists of a large living room with dining area and realax area, a well-equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms, a mezzanine where we find a single bed and two bathrooms.

Would Reccomend!

Stay was great. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay in Florence at a reasonable price. The restaurant right next to the apartment (Aqua al 2) is a must!

Safe and Prime Location

The apartment is spacious and pretty. It is also in a prime location for walking the city or catching taxis to the airport. We had a great time exploring Florence and beyond from this home. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Trip of a lifetime

We spent several days at this property. Layout was more odd than the photos show. Bed was very saggy and uncomfortable for two people to sleep in. We made the best of it and still enjoyed our stay. The people were nice enough to work with.

Trip to Florence

The door broke our first night and we were unable to get back in and had none of our belongings. Management was unhelpful and had us call the fire department. Eventually they found an accommodation but we were left in the dark and were expected to get help on our own.

San Firenze House

This place is in the most perfect location possible! You can walk to all the attractions in Florence. I highly recommend this property. The restaurant on the corner is fantastic (make a reservation). The upstairs neighbors pounded on the floors one night to let us know we were too loud and yelled at us down the hallway the next morning, but other than that there were no issues.

Great location, very odd layout

Unbeatable location, clean, spacious. Perhaps the strangest layout of an apartment I’ve ever seen, including a shower in a closet, but technically all as described. I wish I had known there was no coffee for the machine to at least get us started before being able to get to the store for the correct pods. But overall a fine apartment and central to everything.

Great location tired furniture

This was a great location. The furniture is in very poor shape. One of the chairs webbing is gone so they set a piece of plywood, not secured, in the seat and a loose cushion on top. The sofa nearly touched the floor when you sit and when you get in the master bed you roll to the middle. Overall nice place. Enjoyed the stay. Making the updates would make it a 5 star.

Great location - but very noisy at night

The location was great - the facilities were good for 4 travelers together. However- it was very noisy at night. You have to wear earplugs for sure. On the last day/ night for some reason the gas was turned off and we did not have hot water for the last day. There was no solution by the host.

Good for sightseeing but noisy.

Lovely apartment and superb location for all the sights in Florence. Very spacious and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Our first night (Saturday) was very noisy with a hen party which was in the street until 0400am. We had two other nights and apart from street cleaners and some passers by singing it was very relaxing. It is a city so we expected noise, would recommend ear plugs. Florence is awesome! We also had no hot water on day two but this was fixed quickly and with good contact from the rental manager.

Great location, funky space

This apartment is in a great location to visit many sights in Florence. There are several great restaurants in the area, a small grocery market a couple blocks away, and just a short walk from the river. If you're traveling with someone with mobility issues, please note there are stairs to get up to the apartment, but they're not too steep or narrow. There is also a loft, which has steep, narrow stairs. There's plenty of space to spread out and feel at home. Plenty of toilets and showers so that there isn't a queue for each. Overall, a surprising find.

Awesome place

We loved San Firenze house. A little skeptical when walking down the street with our luggage, but you will be very pleasantly surprised when you get inside. The space is amazing. Very spacious and full of character. The check in process was very easy and owner very responsive. We had no issues or needs during our stay so we didn’t have to reach out during our 3 night visit. The home is very clean and has everything you could possibly need. Museums, nightlife, restaurants etc. all just a few minutes walk away. No issues with noise for us as others previously mentioned. We would definitely come back and highly recommend!!

Florence apartment

The apartment was very nice. The location was outstanding for access around Florence. The bad part was the noise from the street. There was a restaurant right below us that was very loud very late. We also had the people who lived above us had a very loud party that lasted until 4am. The back bedroom was nice and quiet but the front bedroom was hard to sleep in. If it had not been so loud, it would have been perfect.

Location location location!!!

This place is walking distance to everything! It was so nice having a washer and DRYER! We were able to wash all of our clothes half way through our trip. Check in was easy. They helped us find the nearest parking garage since we had a rental car. People walking down the alley in the master bedroom were loud so we used ear plugs at night. Highly recommend this place for families or groups of 5. It’s spacious and comfortably fit everyone! Large kitchen table to gather around and kitchen with everything you need if you make meals.

Odd But Charming Stay in Florence

The place was very interesting. You can tell the building has been remodeled from a larger more grand space. The ceilings are vaulted with ornate beams. And the result is a little strange especially the odd places bathroom and shower. But this doesn’t detract from the place. The location is to central many Florence attractions. Just a short walk takes you to Vivoli and Piazza di Santa Croce. And the place suited our needs well. Only one small complaint is there is no working washer/dryer. The machine is broken. But overall it’s a nice place to stay and I’ll look to see if it’s available next time I’m in Florence.

Location, Location, Location!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is excellent for all the things you would want to see in Florence. The unit is spacious and worked very for us with two private bedrooms and two bathrooms. The laundry was great. Our hosts were very responsive. There was an issue with the hot water heater and it was corrected the same day we reported. I noticed in another review a complaint about the noise. It is standard street noise. If you live in the core of a big city, you will be used to it. Our only comment for improvement is that the furniture (sofa, chair with the plywood in the bottom) could use a little TLC). I would have not problems staying here again.
