- Iron and Ironing board are provided but there’s no washing machine at the house. We can offer a laundry service for an additional charge

The house is perfectly located on a peaceful Victorian residential street, a stone’s throw from the River Ouse and just a short riverside walk from York’s famous attractions.

- City Centre – 20 mins walk / 5 min drive

- Racecourse – 20 mins walk / 10 mins drive

Parking
There’s enough off-street parking at the back of the house to park 2 cars. However, access to the parking is via the alley at the end of the street and is tight so may not be suitable for large MPV/SUVs.

Access to the house is provided via self check-in using the coded key lockbox. You'll be sent the code to the lockbox 1-2 days before your stay.

The house is situated in a fantastic part of York, very close to local amenities including shops and cafes. It's just a 20 min riverside walk to the city centre with the many attractions it offers. Also a fifteen minute walk across the river to the Racecourse and the famous 'Bishy Road' area with its many independent cafes, shops and bars. The picturesque River Ouse is just at the bottom of the street, a great area for a walk or picnic. Less than 5 minutes walk to the bus stop on the A19 at the top of the road with regular buses directly to the train station.

It is a 20 minute walk to the city centre either along the river or main road, or a 2 minute walk to the bus stop with regular buses directly to the train station via the city centre.

We charge a £20 supplement per stay for use of the single Chairbed bedding.
