This beautiful property can be found perched above the bay in the pretty Furzeham area of Brixham. Wonderfully positioned to enjoy the best of the town, the cottage is within easy reach of the vibrant quay and harbour in one direction and Battery Gardens and Fishcombe Cove in the other, so for families or groups of friends it's the perfect place for a holiday!

On the ground floor there’s a gorgeous living room with big bay windows and a spacious, fully equipped modern kitchen with breakfast bar and seating.
Upstairs on the first floor is the family bathroom and a cloak room, as well as two lovely bedrooms, a light and spacious double and fabulous king.
Both are light-filled and beautifully styled, with big beds, superior mattresses and sumptuous soft furnishings, with the king featuring two elegant armchairs as well as a massive bay window.

1 pet accepted: Please advise the Luxury Coastal team directly if you would like us to host your pet after completing your booking. A charge of £40 per pet per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay. We will arrange and invoice with you directly upon booking confirmation.

We ask our guests for a £200 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.

Great Place

Everything was great. Parking was easy either in front on public street or in private spot in rear. Walk to pubs and restaurants was hilly but easy. Great location for exploring Devon area, too.

Property is excellent. Everything you could possibly need. Very clean and comfortable. Parking can be a problem as we took 2 cars down. There is space at back of house for one car but its a tight squeeze. Very lucky if you get a parking space at front of house. Brixham on your doorstep. Easy to get to other places like Torquay and Paignton. Bus station at the bottom end of Brixham. Or hop on a boat!

A lovely house

A lovely house which was a perfect size for six adults and a two year old. Great location for all that Brixham has to offer. The bed we had was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in and apparently the others were really comfortable as well.

Good size property not too far from the harbour, but could be better

Over many years we have stayed in numerous holiday properties in Brixham. I would rate this one as good but could be better. Good size bedrooms with comfy beds but bed linen although clean had some old stains. Living/dining rooms good size but in the kitchen it was not easy to get to the fridge/freezer with the kitchen door open. Property could have been cleaner, dusty in places. No welcome pack which is unusual and very cheap and nasty toilet rolls and no kitchen roll. Wifi was very weak and TV reception was not good.. Could do with some redecoration in places as quite a few of paint chips. It was ok and we enjoyed our stay, but won't be booking this one again.

We came to Brixham with my husband’s family to celebrate his 40th birthday, we chose Admirals because we needed 4 bedrooms, to be close to the town and a place which allowed dogs. The photos were beautiful on the website and we were looking forward to our stay. We were faced with issues straight away really.The fridge was broken and spoiled our food, we’d spent over 100 on food for the week which had to be thrown away. A replacement fridge was dropped off to the neighbour and we had to collect it ourselves, not something you want to be doing on your holidays!The dishwasher didn’t always work first time and so we had to wait hours for a cycle. Appliances should be tested before guests arrive.Housekeeping needs to be improved. The cottage needs a deep clean - especially carpets and the bathroom. I had to buy cleaning products and bleach the bath mat before I let my daughter have a shower, it was full of mould. When we alerted luxury coastal of these issues, they were unaware, although, the previous guest had left a bad review which included the same problems as we endured.The cottage itself is nice, the bedrooms were lovely, beds comfy, plenty of cupboard space, but housekeeping lets it down.

Regarding the fridge, the housekeeper did check the appliance before your arrival and called us immediately upon discovering it was not working. A replacement was ordered and delivered within less than two hours. Unfortunately, there was a communication error with the delivery, and the fridge was mistakenly dropped off at a neighbour's property. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused during your holiday. We also appreciate your comments about cleanliness and the dishwasher. Your feedback has been passed to the property owner for review, and the housekeeping concerns have already been actioned by the local contact, to ensure this does not happen again.
