The Space:

Bluebell Cottage is a beautiful property which has recently been renovated to the highest standard. Inside this single level cottage, you’ll find stylish interiors and premium furnishings.



BEDROOM

The bedroom is a gorgeous space with exposed beams and elegant lighting. The comfortable queen bed is accompanied with plush bedding and premium bed linens, so you get a truly luxurious experience. A dressing table, wardrobe and flat screen TV complete the room.



LIVING AREA

Next up is the open plan living and dining area. With a huge vaulted ceiling and original exposed beams, there is an atmospheric feel in here. Light floods in from the large skylight windows creating a bright space. The stone feature wall is complimented perfectly with a large, black metal clock right above the fireplace. Kick back and relax on one of the grey, leather sofas. Switch on the flat screen TV to catch up your favourite shows or get stuck into a good book.



DINING AREA

The dining area has a wooden dining table and four chairs. This is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfasts after lazy mornings and delicious evening meals with your loved one.



KITCHEN

The kitchen is fun and modern. Fully equipped for all of your self-catering needs, it has an oven, microwave, kettle, fridge and toaster.



BATHROOM

The bathroom features a large walk in shower and vanity unit.



BALCONY

Outside you’ll find a private decking area. Start your day here with a morning coffee or wind down with a cup of tea (or a glass of something bubbly) as the sun goes down.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the full cottage. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.



There is free parking located on site.



Please note the washing machine and tumble dryer are located in a shared laundry unit on the site.



Please note that whilst the property does have Wi-fi, due to the location of the cottage the signal can be intermittent.



The Neighborhood:

Bluebell Cottage is located in between historic Bamburgh and the rural farming life in Belford. Ideally situated between the Northumberland coast and wilderness of the Northumberland National Park, you really do have lots to discover.



Surrounded by fields, trees and nature, Poppy Cottage has a lush, green backdrop. You can enjoy long, quiet walks and energetic hikes through the countryside. The area is packed with wildlife and even features a nature reserve, so birds like wildfowl and waders can be seen passing through in droves during the winter.



Belford has a thriving and friendly market square at its centre brimming with restaurants and inns. The Holy Island of Lindisfarne can be seen from various points around the village and is within easy reach. It’s an ideal base for those wanting to partake in a spot of fishing and golfing.



Bluebell Cottage is just a short 10-minute drive from the gorgeous coastal town of Bamburgh. Here you’ll find miles of stunning sandy shores and Bamburgh Castle, which is one of the finest castles in the country. Standing on the Northumberland coastline for over 1,400 years, there is a wealth of history to uncover.



Getting Around:

Bluebell Cottage is located within 20 minutes’ drive time so beautiful areas within Northumberland such as Bamburgh, Seahouses and Beadnell. There are excellent travel links as the cottage is only a short distance from the A1.



The closest train station is Chathill, which is roughly a 15-minute drive from Bluebell Cottage so local towns in Northumberland can easily be reached via rail.



There are a number of bus stops throughout Belford. Hop on the 418 service to explore Bamburgh, Beadnell, Alnwick and Alnmouth amongst others. The X18 route travels between Newcastle and Berwick upon Tweed with stops in Morpeth, Amble and Seahorses.



Newcastle Airport is roughly one hour away by car.
