Amazing stay in this perfect house with great views
We had a great stay with our whole family in this amazing house. Very large pool and perfect views. The house was very clean and surprisingly big. Communication with the owner was great.
A really fantastic place. With the most wonderful view. A host's family who really appreciates the guests. Incredibly easy to communicate with. The only minus is the road up to the house.
Great place for a large group to enjoy the tranquility and amazing views, with everything you need on premise. Dirt road access however does not work for cyclists.
Le Campore is a beautifully restored villa at the top of a hillside, reached by a long dirt track. Initially you do wonder where you are going, following the owner, Davide, who helpfully guides you in. Wow, it is worth it! The views are breathtaking, and there are a choice of terraces, and the large infinity pool.
The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, and offers many choices and levels. Although the kitchen is small, it is functional, but outside living is the order of the day.
The visiting chef(s) is a MUST..such good value...food and accompanying wine superb.
Davide was so helpful, and communication was excellent.
For a really secluded getaway, this is perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
This house is just amazing. The views from the terraces are just breathtaking. We were 8 adults staying here and had no problems with the accommodations. The owner was very attentive to our problems and took care of them immediately. My only issue was the road to get there. It was a little difficult to negotiate, but we managed. The owner's father, Giorgio, mentioned that they were going to attend to the road in the winter, so that would make this a wonderful place for a vacation. Consider this spot, if you're staying in this area. Just wonderful.

We were a group of 6 couples. The property is stunning and much bigger than I imagined from the photos. Our group had more. than ample space and everybody loved their rooms and the property overall. The ergonomics of the main floor kitchen was the only place that could get congested but having said that we could have used the additional facilities on other floors. The pool is very large but a little cool for a few of the less hardy of our group. The views are stunning. On three of the evenings we utilized the Private Chef service as this was a massive hit with everybody - Every course was enjoyed! The road to the property is challenging and perhaps presented a bit of an obstacle to getting out and sightseeing the local area more than we did. The other side of this is the privacy and serenity enjoyed at the villa. The family owners were a delight to work with and on arrival we were met in the town and taken to the property which was very helpful. Everything went smoothly at all times.
Villa was very spacious and well equipped , outside area also was spacious with plenty of seating, the pool was gorgeous facing the stunning landscape .
Davide and his parents were very welcoming and helpful.
Grazie
We had a wonderful stay, the house is exactly as described but the experience is better! The views are outstanding and Davide and his family very welcoming and helpful. The bars and restaurants in Casole dâ Elsa are worth visiting too. Our family had a fantastic time! Perfect for a large gathering of family or friends. Grazie Davide!
Our group of 12 had a most wonderful time at this beautiful Villa. Perfect for extended family members who want some space at times, but a large table for everyone to gather for visiting . Of course this is the perfect location for drinking Tuscan wines and eating fabulous Italian food. Yes, the driveway is very windy and narrow so the drivers needed wine after negotiating the long climb up the dirt road. Marvelous family vacation and the Owners and property manager were all wonderful.
We had one of the best vacations ever at this lovey place. Although located at quite remoted place on the top hill â it has a breathtaking view of Tuscany âcertainly a great way to feel the area. The house itself is well equipped , pleasant very clean rooms , good size pool and well maintained large garden .
Due to our late flight we were schedule to arrive toward midnight â and both the agency and the owners coop with that late arrival . Davide the owner was so kind to wait for us at the near village patrol station at midnight â just to take us through the off road 10 min drive up the hill to the villa â not an easy drive but certainly can be done with normal vehicle (we had a 9 seat van which also made it â but take it easy on the sharp road angles at the forest ). His father â Georgio â is such a pleasant guy â brought us woods for the fireplace and was so cooperative for anything we needed. Note that food wise- the you need to arrange everything for your stay (even basic such as paper salt and sugar ..) â as the nearest small supermarket is in Casole D'Elsa (a 15 min drive down the rough road ) or a larger supermarket is 30 min away . The heat is working well at the first and second floor â but the basement is not heated and can be quite cold (there is a small a air-condition which does not do the job , and fire place which we did not try (we used the one at the kitchen at the ground floor ) â but the owner was cooperative and brought us a small electric fan to warm the room â it helped a bit at the cold night â but at those warmer day we did not used it either .
All in all it is a beautiful spot â well maintained â with lovely owners and good agency .

This is the way to experience Tuscany!
The villa and facilities are just like in pictures and descriptions (or even better). The house and the whole premises is beautiful and really makes you feel at home (like you would live in Tuscany :)). The view is absolutely perfect (inc from bedrooms windows!). Pool was nice - big enough to actually swim (and no shadows on the pool at any time of the day). The house has many rooms and sitting places (+poolroom!) so you could really enjoy the day inside.
Everything was clean and the host was very helpful and friendly. Welcome package was really nice surprise! All questions were answered and extra good advice received.
The only thing is tat the road to the house is really uncomfortable (narrow, quite steep, hairpin turns) for 9-seater that we were driving. It takes time to drive this rural road. But of course thats kinda part of the authentic experience. At least we didn't miss anything due to the road - many beautiful attractions are in reasonable distance. We managed to visit Cinque Terre, Firenze, Pisa, Siena, Chianti wine road and nearest cute villages.
I have already recommended the property to my friends!
Hospitable, Private, and the Most Amazing Panorama
If what you're looking for is privacy, this villa is absolutely ideal. While the approach road is somewhat rustic (you'll want a car with high clearance), the remove from the village on the top of a gorgeous Tuscan hillside provides a spectacular, panoramic view of the entire valley below. Olive groves, orchard trees, and rosemary bushes perfume the air. A variety of stone terraces overlook the huge, clean pool and surrounding countryside. The owners left us a welcome treat of wine, bread, and the local cured meats, as well as fresh fruit, which was lovely. The house has three kitchen areas, and a barbecue, which made provisioning and preparing food for 14 quite easy. The main kitchen is well kitted out with all the utensils and pans as well (and the dishwasher helps with the cleanup for those self-catering). Beds were comfortable, water pressure and waterheater were fine for a full house. Everything was clean and in working order. We had a marvelous time. The only semi-negative point we found was the narrow, steep and rough track leading to the house's main gate, but if you're prepared for it it's not a big deal. All in all, a very good value for the price.
Le Campore is a truly wonderful place, with complete secluded privacy and spectacular views near the top of a hill. The house and pool are everything you can wish for. The abundance of ripe figs from the gardenâs huge fig tree is an added bonus. The approach road is uphill, fairly lengthy and unpaved in places but is in the process of being smoothed
