The famous and historic cathedral city of St. David’s is a 15 minute drive away with its 12th century cathedral and medieval ruins of Bishop’s Palace that you can explore, along with many art galleries, gift shops, good choice of restaurants and traditional pubs specialising in local produce - it’s a great location. Continue onto Dale at the far south west point of Pembrokeshire, and along the magnificent and dramatic coastline is Martin’s Haven where you will discover Lockley Lodge Visitor Centre, which is the gateway to the islands of Skomer and Skokholm. This really is a wildlife haven and is well-known for puffins, gannets, razorbills and of course grey seals and dolphins. Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, is a fun day out for all the family, and located only 30 minutes away, or for those with younger families, be sure to visit Folly Farm Zoo where you can see rhinos, giraffes and even lions!
