In the heart of the historical center of Florence, stands this magnificent apartment recently renovated to offer maximum comfort and make you feel at home. Thanks to the position and the splendid view overlooking Florence, you will immediately feel part of the city. The apartment is a stone's throw from the old bridge, to reach it and admire the splendid view you need to make a small climb and two flights of stairs but the effort will be immediately rewarded by the panorama.

The apartment is on the first floor of a historical building, furnished with elegance and style.
For those who like a bit of glamour, this apartment is for you. A clean decor provide a romantic spot to call home during your stay in Florence.
Located in the very heart of Florence, you’ll be a short distance from all the sites. Less than 5 minutes to the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Pontevecchio and Piazza della Signoria, a few steps by the famous shopping street Via de Tornabuoni.
The apartment is perfect for a couple, but also has a sofa bed to accommodate 4 guests total.
This is a charming and tranquil spot to come back to after a day of seeing Florence, and you can continue to admire it through the the splendid view of the window.
When you’re ready to relax, the apartment has all the amenities you’d expect to allow you to cook a meal and relax in front of the TV.
The unit comes with air conditioning (portable AC unit), 1 big screen flat TV, washing machine/dryer and a Fibre Optics WiFi connection.
If you like charm and elegance, don’t pass this space up!

NOTE: Please note that the apartment is situated at the top of a hill, so keep this in mind if you have mobility concerns. However, the effort is well worth it for the breathtaking view of all of Florence!

Everything was great...but there is a hill

The place was great...but, if walking up a steep hill everyday to get back to your place isn't easy for you, or just isn't your thing...you might want to reconsider this one.

Beautiful views, clean and comfortable

The shower might be too small for some people, it’s a small place but it is beautiful and comfortable otherwise. Big hike up a hill to get to it but worth it for the view. Great location in my opinion, quiet and out of the way but very close walk to the river and city.

Loved our stay.

Our accommodation was clean and comfortable. The view from rental is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet/quaint, but still close to points of interest/restaurants. Being up a hill provides these benefits, but location may be challenging for renters with mobility issues. It is interesting to note that Galileo’s home is directly across the street.

6 stars for the view

Lovely little apartment in a great location. Keep in mind that there's a pretty steep climb up to the house, and you'll be doing it every time you're returning from downtown. We've actually enjoyed the exercise, but it may not be the same for everyone.

Great stay with a few issues.

Great apartment with an excellent view! Needed to better understand how trash is handled in Florence (especially because we were there for 1.5 weeks). Also WiFi system needs updating. It cut out several times and we did not have any WiFi the last 18 hours of our stay.

Authentic apartment in a fantastic location

The positives: - Fantastic location just a matter of minutes to get to the ponte vecchio - Characterful apartment with authentic charm - Amazing view of Florence from the main window - Nice kitchen, though lacks any basic cooking ingredients such as oil, salt etc but who wants to cook when in Italy! - All spaces were very clean - Flexible check-in. Despite being delayed by 1.5 hours, the check-in hostess was very pkeasant and accommodating The negatives: - It is on quite a steep hill so not for anyone with mobility challenges - It is quite small but this is the nature of these charming historical apartments. - The aircon unit is very loud so if you are a light like sleeper like me then you may not have a great night's sleep

Winter window on Florence

We spent eight delightful December days gazing out the window, the heart and soul of this apartment—and for a glorious walk with great views make sure to stroll up the hill, left out the door, to the Forte de Belvedere and out the old walls, and round even to San Miniato. Once back in the apartment, relax for a bite at the little table in front of the window or sit at the couch just beyond the table. The kitchen facing the couch gets the job done: two burners, newfangled microwave, (no [old-fashioned] oven), toaster, enough pans and utensils, more than enough cups and plates; a well-stocked Conad (supermarket) is at base of hill (when not strolling to one of the mercati). Washing machine works well (drying rack in closet). Plenty of hot water, for the radiators and the shower (which is a bit more snug than a phone booth). Bed was wonderfully firm (but, alas, the noise from upstairs was on two evenings/nights such that earplugs & noise-canceling headphones were required—life in the big city). For (third-wave) coffee fans, check out the Ditta Artigianale just down the hill and around the corner on Via dello Sprone, yes, with avocado toast—they have four more shops in the city; and continue down V. d. Sprone to Gelateria della Passera, and even farther down to Spori Toscani Street Food, to get started on the food tour!

Great Location

My husband and I spent a week at the Florence apartment and had a wonderful time! The apartment is quite large for a European apartment and has a separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Everything in the apartment worked just fine (no problem with water pressure or enough hot water or heat as it was chilly a few nights while we were there) and the view was beautiful – day and night. The location was great – close to restaurants, bars, shopping and area attractions. Many nights we took a stroll after dinner by walking over Ponte Vecchio, going by the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. The streets were lit for Christmas so it was very pretty. We had some wonderful meals in Florence (mostly on the Oltrarno side of the river) and it was nice to be able to bring home leftovers to have for lunch. We like beer and really enjoyed Archea Brewery which was about a 15-minute walk from the apartment. We also enjoyed the Italian opera concert at Santa Monaca church. The management company - Sweetstay – was very easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions prior to our visit. I did not have a need to contact them while we were there, but I am sure they would have responded right away if I did. We hope to return to Florence again and this apartment will be our first choice.

My fiancé and I stayed in Andrea's place for the duration of our honeymoon in Florence. The space is very welcoming and warm, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy your time in Florence. The location is perfect - very close to many local restaurants, thrift stores, pastry shops, wine bars, and markets . Only a 2 minute walk to the river! We felt very at home in the apartment and appreciated the sweet touches Andrea left for us upon our arrival. The apartment gets a lot of light when you open the window which make it even more lovely with the astonishing view of the whole Florence. The bed was so comfortable! Also, Andrea was very helpful and communicative if we needed help with anything at any time of day. We would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Florence!

Nice cozy home with an incredible view

we had such a pleasant stay we loved sitting on the couch and enjoying the beautiful view from the window the road to get there is uphill, but the neighborhood is so nice that you look around and forget the small effort

Great for short term rental

Excellent views over Florence, great communication with the team and tidy airbnb. However for a two week stay, the washing machine wasn't working, kitchen wasn't exceptionally stocked i.e. no cutting board, no sharp knives, no oven etc. It is very small, so would recommend for short term stays.

NIce location, excellent view

Great place to stay in Florence, 5 minutes across Ponte Vecchio from central Florence. There is a fairly steep hill climb the last few hundred meters back to the apartment, but not bad for those used to walking. The view of the Duomo exactly as pictured on the website. Excellent restaurants in the vicinity. Would definitely return here again.

View of Florence to die for

The view from the window at the dining area is to die for. It looks out over a corner of Bardini Gardens, over the Arno River and Ponte Alle Grazie Bridge, and over the city. The cathedral and other monumental architecture is front and center, and lit up all night. Gorgeous. It's directly across the street from Galileo's house. Accessed by a steep one-way street, and inside, one flight of stairs. Comfortable, compact, clean; perfect for a couple. Nicely done interior. Would like to come back.
