A stunning mix of modern and period interiors, Villa Rose is not your ordinary ski chalet or summer retreat. This stately turn-of-the-century town house became a boutique hotel and photo-shoot destination before returning to life as a beloved family home.
Retaining luxurious fixtures and furnishings throughout, Villa Rose hearkens to its historic past with high ceilings, tall French windows and doors, and an air of old-world elegance throughout. The piece de resistance is undoubtedly an original painted wood panelled sunroom with stained glass windows, perfect for sipping champagne or curling up with a book and hot tea...
Villa Rose first welcomes guests with a grand hallway and large comfortable sitting room at raised ground floor level, where a fireplace and gorgeous sunroom beckon relaxation. A sweeping staircase takes guests to the house’s lovely and spacious first floor kitchen and bar area, well stocked with restaurant standard equipment and tableware. Accessible from the kitchen, there is a large south-facing terrace and with town and mountain views all around. It’s an ideal space for drinks, meals or catching the sun in good weather.
Families and rental groups will find a choice of sleeping arrangements spread over the villa’s four storeys, with several adjoining bathrooms, featuring a variety of showers or baths. There are three en-suite bedrooms with king-size beds and 1 en-suite bedroom with twin single beds.
There are two further bedrooms in a four-room family suite, which feature a king-size bed and two singles in connecting rooms, also linked by a spacious bathroom and a separate dressing room.
All rooms have natural light, including the partial-basement suite with its high-set windows. All bedrooms as well as the sitting room have dedicated televisions.
Villa Rose is a perfect house for relaxing and entertaining, seriously one not to miss!
