This delightful, three-storey, semi-detached cottage rests in Hathersage, Derbyshire and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.

1 Orchard View is a well-presented, three-storey semi-detached cottage resting in Hathersage, Derbyshire. Hosting three bedrooms, including a king-size, a double with an en-suite and a twin, each of which have TVs, along with a bathroom, this property can seep up to six guests. There is also a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside, there is off-road parking for two cars and a multilevel terrace garden with lawns, a barbecue and furniture. Choose 1 Orchard View for a memorable break to the lovely Peak District. Please note: access to 1 Orchard View passes by a property that is undergoing renovation works, this does not affect access to the property (Work due to be completed March 2023).

Front garden with lawn. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 0.4 miles, pub 0.1 mile. Note: The garden is not enclosed and part of the garden is unfenced, please take care. Note: The lane down to the property is only suitable for small cars, there is ample parking on the main road, 100 yards away. Please note: This property does not accept Saturday/Sunday changeovers.

Region: The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Town: Situated in the Peak District at the start of the Hope Valley is the pretty village of Hathersage. The area is a haven for walkers and cyclists, with the excellent walking path, Edale, within easy reach. Popular among tourists is the grave of “Little John” (of Robin Hood fame), however his existence is still up for debate. Famous for being the inspiration of Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre is the Hathersage vicarage. There is also an array of shops, pubs and places to eat.

A wonderful weekend

The cottage was all we could hope for. Well equipped, brilliant showers, very clean, warm and welcoming. Best of all was the location. We walked out of the cottage and up to Stanage Edge and up the lovely valley. We also had a good meal at Maazi.
