Suite Jasmine Well designed apartment near Ponte Vecchio by Mmega
This is an authentic, well designed apartment, with all the comforts and is just a few steps from Ponte Vecchio. Two bedrooms both with their own bathroom, a dining / living room, a fully equipped kitchenette and a beautiful terrace overlooking Borgo San Jacopo with a view of the Barbadori Tower (12th century) from a side and Ponte Vecchio, Vasari Corridor and Mannelli Tower on the other side. This new, bright and comfortable suite on the 4th floor (with lift) is furnished with movable walls and can be transformed into an open space. Everything to make your stay in Florence unique, special and unforgettable.
This unit is on such a charming street and right near the Ponte Vecchio bridge. We loved our stay with our two teenage daughters. There is some street noise at night, but we were able to drown it out with a sound machine/white noise. Adorable little breakfast cafe just one block to the left when you exit. Loved it all- would stay here again!
This property met our family of 4âs needs for the two nights that we were in Florence. The property is clean and comfortable, and the manager is very responsive. There is not a lot of space to put belongings, but for being there only two nights, that didnât matter. it is in a great location!
Great place to stay if you have two couples in group, two big bedrooms with their own full baths! Very modern decor and very centrally located to everything! Easy check in and check out!! Thanks!!
This apartment was perfect! It has enough room to spread out and have privacy because there are 2 full bathrooms. The location is right at the foot of the Ponte Vecchio so you have access to both sides of the river and you can walk everywhere. The supermarket is a block and a half away, great restaurants are right near by and the owner is immediately responsive if you have questions. I come to Florence often and will stay here again,
We enjoyed this unit. Two bedrooms offfered plenty of space. Patio off one bedroom was nice way to spend evening having a drink. Location off Ponte vecchio ideal. Minor hiccup with power when using a hairdryer - no big deal. Difficulty using the dishwasher - no big deal. Nice shower amenities. Overall, it was a great stay !
Our host was so wonderful and helpful.he was on time and friendly, explained everything and made check in easy. Took a bit to figure out the washer and dryer so a manual would be helpful but otherwise a great place to stay!
Location was amazing! We could walk everywhere! The apartment was great! And so much better than if we had to share a hotel room. I would definitely stay here again!
Apartment was in a perfect location! Perfect for 4 people, we only stayed one night but wouldnât hesitate to book again! Check in process was seamless. Communication was easy.
Location is very centrally located and lots of restaurants are close by. It is however very noisy coupled with windows that does not seal ultimately resulting in sleepless nights. Cleanliness was not as good as it should have been.
We really loved staying at this place in Florence. Location could not have been better (about 1/2 block to the Ponte Vecchio).
Check in was flawless (we notified management when we landed in Florence so they met us at the Apt. We had a slight issue with the key and door lock during our stay which was rectified in about 10 minutes and we were completely satisfied. We would definitely stay here again!
Nicely decorated and very clean. Kitchen not easy to cook in due to small size. Beds very comfortable. Great lighting, and big windows. Nice shower with rain had and hand held. Great location! Just perfect.
We had a wonderful time thanks to the convenient location of this apartment. We were able to walk to restaurants, well known sites, and along the Arno River with ease. The apartment is modern and lovely. The common space is limited but the bedrooms with bathrooms are comfortably sized.
Clean, comfortable, chic apartment in best location the property manager was very attentive and helpful. I would stay here again the next time I go to Florence.
The place is roomy. Building is older. Neighborhood is really nice, close to many shops.
Requested extra towels and was questioned on why I needed extra towels. Dryer didnât dry clothes or towels at all.
Overall it was fine.
We really loved this place. There were no surprises and the property is exactly as described and pictured!! I traveled with my daughter and son in law so this layout was so perfect for us! Two identical bedrooms and two identical bathrooms separated by the living area/dining/kitchen. The balcony in one bedroom was just adorable and huge window in the other was fabulous. We loved the location right off the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Walking distance to everything. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend this place as well. Host was easy to contact and was quick to offer baggage holding info when I could not find one in my app. (it is right around the corner!). Its too bad we didnt stay longer so we could enjoy it more!
This place is great! Better in person even over the nice pictures. Its perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4/5. This apartment has pretty much everything you would need. It was very clean as well. Did i mention the location?? It was perfect. You step out your door and you have shops, markets, garages for car rental storage, restaurants and the ponte vecchio! Its a 7 minute walk to the main piazza in florence. The other couple we were with wished we could have stayed longer we had that much fun. The hosts were nice and very prompt when we arrived. 2 things i will say is the tv is very small and doesnt have a movable mount so if you want to chill after a long day, its not the best. Maybe they can consider upgrading it. Also, we tried to get a later checkout and the hosts never responded. Overall these are very minor issues compared to the amazing time we had. Id recommend this VRBO 10 times out of 10. Cant wait to return!!
First of all, the property we booked was beautiful, the problem is that the property management company, Homes in Florence, mishandled our reservation. VRBO tells me that they use a reservation software that placed us in a different property managed by a different management company, Sweetstay Apartments. We were charged a higher rate (my bad for not noticing the charges on my credit card), and were told to meet a greeter at the wrong address. We actually ended up being contacted via WhatsApp by both property management companies and had to drag our luggage through the pouring rain from the wrong apartment to the correct one on the other side of the Arno in Florence. I will be contacting my credit card company to see if they can help claw back the amount we were over charged.
The apartment was in a really great spot. Close to everything and not too noisy. Layout was perfect for 2 couples. Very modern and pretty.
Pros:
Location was awesome!
Best shower we had in Italy!
A nice layout
Clean and comfy
Cons:
No one there to greet us at check-in despite confirming our arrival time.
Our AC didn't work in 1 room. We eventually determined it was dead batteries in the remote and our contact on check in could only offer to take the remote back to the maintenance office and maybe get it back to us at some point. There was a heat wave (well over 30C!) so we bought our own batteries.
Mosquitoes! They were everywhere but apartment seemed really infested. Got bit in our sleep every night! In fairness all of Florence seemed pretty buggy but we only got bit in our own apartment.
Overall, I'd still recommend the place because it was a great spot and a nice layout, but the experience was not completely as expected.
