There are 3 double bedrooms, one bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen and spacious living room with flat screen TV. Furthermore, there is also outdoor seating with countryside views.

The Space:
Dogs are welcome with a fee of £20/dog (max 2). It is on the condition they are not allowed on the soft furnishings or in the bedrooms.

Sun Valley Resort is a family friendly park just minutes from the beach and a short drive from the popular destinations of Mevagissey and St Austell Town. Come and stay in your very own seaside retreat whenever you choose during our 12-month holiday season. Relax in a safe, pet friendly environment.

Sun Valley Resort is set in 20 acres of gently sloping parkland in the Pentewan Valley, near St Austell, Cornwall and offers the unique chance to enjoy the English Riviera and a quintessential English lifestyle. The park is close to the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Eden Project, where you will find something to interest the whole family. The nearest beach is less than a mile away and within walking distance of Sun Valley Resort. If you think that Pentewan Beach looks familiar it is because it was used back in 1989 to film a black stallion galloping across the golden sands for a Lloyds Bank TV advert.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the whole bungalow, as well as the surrounding holiday resort and facilities.

The Neighborhood:
With access to all the resorts facilities whilst being tucked away in its own quiet corner, the bungalow has the best of both worlds.

The surrounding area is packed with activities. Pentewan Valley cycle hire is only a few minutes drive with extensive trails around the whole area. The beautiful white sand Pentewan beach is also just around the corner from here. The Lost Gardens of Heligan can be reached in about 5 minutes drive, and the quaint fishing village of Mevagissey is a similar distance. Here there is a vast array of pubs, cafes, restaurants, local craft shops and more.

Further afield, the world famous Eden Project can be reached in about 20 minutes. Surfing beaches on the North Coast, such as Fistral Beach in Newquay, are only 40 minutes drive.

Getting Around:
There is free parking outside the property for one vehicle, plus ample free parking in the resort car park a minutes walk away.

The nearest train station is in St Austell, around a 10-15 minute taxi drive away. There are also numerous buses. Trains come into this station directly from London Paddington.

Other Things to Note:
Please note: The on-site restaurant & swimming pool at the resort nearby is temporarily closed for refurb until further notice. Dogs are welcome with a fee of £20/dog (max 2). It is on the condition they are not allowed on the soft furnishings or in the bedrooms, are cleaned up after and are not left in the property unattended.

Massively gone down hill

My partner used to stay here when he was a child so we decided to revisit this half term. We paid nearly £1800 and it was between sun valley and another cottage in mevagissy. We decided to go with your property as you have a restaurant, bar and swimming pool. Plus with 2 dogs and 2 boys it made sense as theyd have more room to run around. When we arrived we were hungry and tired from being in traffic for over 4 hours. We wanted to go straight to the restaurant but this was conpletely shut. Within minutes the residents were moaning as the dogs we having a sniff about ( not running off) and were not on leads and boys were allowed no ball games on the grass. The reception area was locked and no one around to book swimming or ask why facilities were shut. Everything looked derelect from the house when you enter, tennis courts and restaurant. Totally mis sold as we were not told nothing would be open. Complained to guesthoo and send a very passive aggressive email back completely ignoring my points about it being mis aold and nothing opened, told to spend money going into Pentuwen where we can hire paddle boards and eat out there. Then told the gardener could come and fix the wall at the front of the property if we wanted him to. Would never return. Completely disappointed and should have been told there are no on site facilities open. After a whole week of trying we finally got in swimming on the last day and thats only because a groundsman seen me try reception for the 5th

Lovely property

The bungalow is lovely. The location isn’t great as the on-site restaurant never seemed to be open. Not far from St Austell though and the restaurant down the road was lovely but a little pricey. All in all we had a great time in Cornwall and the bungalow was a great base.

Beautiful bungalow

Couldn't fault it. Fresh sheets on the beds lovely and clean accommodation. Kitchen is fully equipped including a coffee machine, and radio! Great decking outside to enjoy our morning coffee and friendly neighbours. We had a great stay and enjoyed the use of the onsite pool afew times during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
