For us, having two bathrooms for 5 people was a must, and it delivered. The house is bright and had all we needed to feel at home. We could even park right outside as it was the weekend. A couple of things to know it that stairs are tight, the stairs light was broken and no lift, so not ideal for older folks or little kids, or a lot of luggage. And the mattress are on the hard side, if you like it itâs great, not everyoneâs treat. The communication with the owner was awesome, it is very close to the metro, and we felt at home, so for us it was great!
The location is decent and convenient enough. It is a short walk to the Arroios metro station and also nearby several grocery stores. We appreciated the layout & spaciousness of the apartment with the two bedrooms and bathrooms, and the laundry machine in-unit.
The unit itself is as advertised from the photos, however it isn't within the cleanest property. Both the property and unit itself could use better cleaning attention. The unit is two flights up a narrow, dimly lit & dusty stairwell. There was a dead cockroach and trash in the stairwell the day we arrived, and none of it was removed or cleaned during the 9 night-length of our stay.
The unit itself is fairly clean overall, but the sink and toilet in one of the bathrooms didn't appear fully cleaned for our arrival. I trust this is an easy fix with the appropriate feedback given to the cleaning service.

We had a horrible experience. We were so tired upon arrival we forgot to inspect the beds. Unfortunately, our daughter's bed had bed bugs. She woke up Christmas morning with bites all over and was very upset. I tried contacting the property owner via phone and email but was not able to get through. We then used the washing machine to clean everything, which blew all of the fuses and we had no power. The fuses blew each time we turned the washing machine back on. The only way to use the washing machine was to turn off the heat and most lights. It was only 38 degrees F in the morning and very cold without heat. I then heard back from the property management company. Again it was Christmas morning; they did not apologize or show any concern. They accused us of bringing the bed bugs and said I would have to pay for the bed bug inspection and removal, costing a total of 175 Euros. They also said we needed to leave and could return in a couple of days after the bed bug removal. They did not offer to help relocate us. I refused to pay and contacted VRBO directly. VRBO found us another hotel and told us we would be refunded. Meanwhile, I continued to receive emails and even an invoice from the management company for the bed bug removal. I felt harassed and asked them to stop contacting me but they did not. It was the worst vacation rental experience I have ever had. Do not stay here.
