Fantastic! My friends were extremely impressed by my find and they all had a blast! The yard was beautiful and decor was the perfect vibe for the weekend. Felt very tropical inside and out!

This was an absolutely gorgeous place with wonderful amenities, like a hot outdoor shower for when you come back from the beach, a library of books, and a grand piano. There is a fan in every room, plenty of towels, and great communication with the managers. This is a terrific place to stay.

We’re originally from SB and know what to expect! The house was an older style but was great! The location was close to Montecito and the beach. Loved waking up and having coffee on the great deck, needs some updates but still great. Communication with Cliff was amazing. He always wrote back in under an hour. Clean big property, suggest getting rid of the slide. We loved to see all the different plants. Really gives you an idea of the SB feel. Few minor things but not even worth mentioning. Great stay, great host!

Perfect house for our family’s vacation to Santa Barbara. The house was super clean and well maintained. The location is great and beds were comfy. Cliff was very responsive - no complaints and we would absolutely stay here again if we were to come back to SB.

Santa Barbara house

The house was very clean and set up nicely. It is very convenient and close to the 101 freeway with easy access to the waterfront and downtown. It has a gated driveway, big backyard and deck/grill that would be really nice in the warmer weather. The host was easy to communicate with and responds quickly. I would recommend this to families traveling to the Santa Barbara area.

Santa Barbara Safe Place

We were dripping our daughter off to college for the first time and our car was packed with all of her belongings. The house had a secure parking area behind the gate. Ideal. The kitchen was perfectly stocked. Our host was so flexible and understanding about our wonky arrival and departure times. Such a great place to land for a big family transition.

Perfect vacation home in Santa Barbara

We had a great stay, the house is very comfortable, well equiped and decorated with care & good taste. It’s close to the beach and Montecito. The owners are very responsive as well. If you are staying in Santa Barbara with your family this is a great choice!!

Perfect home base in Santa Barbara

We loved staying here! Our family had a great time in Santa Barbara and the house is perfectly situated for adventures and exploring in the area. Our kiddo loved the big yard and the house is clean, comfortable and well-stocked with all the basics you need. Communication with the lovely owners was seamless and they clearly care very much about guest comfort and enjoyment. A gem of a house - we would definitely stay again!

Another great stay at the Cliffhouse

We really enjoyed our weekend in Santa Barbara, this was our 2nd stay at this house. The house is very clean and comfortable, perfect for our family of 4. Our favorite part is the glass doors opening to the deck. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the sun, and a lovely brunch one morning on the deck. the garden was still beautiful in November, I walked around the yard and admired all of the Monarch butterflies on the lower fence. We also really appreciate the gated yard for parking, including a remote control for the gate.

Perfect getaway house

Our group consisted of 4 ladies who love music, being active, shopping, and eating together. We played the piano and sang together several times. We made a charcutterie board and enjoyed the sunshine and garden views while we ate. We were quite confortable in the beds. My favorite outings were to State Street for shopping and dining and Cold Springs trail for the ocean and island views on our 2.5 mile waterfall hike. I also loved Brophy Brothers on the wharf, Shoreline Park, and a sunset beach walk at East Beach. There was hardly a dull moment. While I really wanted to take the bikes out for a ride, the group I was with wasn't as excited to do that as I was. Everything about the house was perfect except we ran out of toilet paper with 24 hours left in our stay. The house, furniture, and deck area were comfortable, relaxing, and decorated beautifully. I would love to stay again.

Wonderful stay at CliffHouse Cottage!

This beautiful cottage was perfect for our family of 4! Our kids enjoyed exploring the lovingly maintained grounds, and admiring the flowers and plants surrounding the house. The gated driveway and tall privacy hedges also provided a delicious sense of seclusion and privacy. The interior of the house, which was thoughtfully decorated with warm natural tones and classic beach themed decor, felt cozy and roomy enough for all to have a relaxing stay. We appreciated the small stock of games, books and toys for small children that were stored in the house. Eating on the sunny deck was also a highlight of the stay. For newcomers, we found the location to be ideal as it was very easy to access the freeway and get to the many wonderful eateries in the area. We particularly enjoyed spending days at Miramar Beach Club. (The outdoor shower was a nice touch at the end of those long days on the beach.) For tennis enthusiasts, there are municipal tennis courts just at the end of the street. We would stay again! - Family of 4 from Boston, MA
