The village offers a small selection of shops, as well as a pub and a lovely church set amongst rolling meadows and wooded valleys. Resting within a quieter part of Cornwall, it is close to some wonderful attractions like Trebah Gardens, Penjerrick, Glendurgan and Carwinion. Hop on a boat or enjoy a riverside stroll along the nearby Helford river, which meanders upstream to Gweek. Falmouth, with its narrow streets, natural harbour and National Maritime Museum is a short drive away.
