i've stayed in many lovely rental properties when visiting London from the States, but this place was the best. Enormous, beautiful, light. The ante-room off the living room served as a separate, curtained bedroom space for my adult daughter, while my husband and I and another couple enjoyed the two other enormous bedrooms. There is also a completely separate half bath, which my daughter enjoyed having. Very quiet, no street noise. The tube sounds that a couple of others have mentioned can best be compared to far off ocean waves, did not bother us in the slightest. The hosts were very attentive and the location is great. I hope I get to stay in this lovely apartment again!

London for a 60th birthday

This place was just PERFECT for our adult family of 4. There was a bedroom and bathroom for everyone!!! Gordana was extremely accommodating. We arrived at the apartment around 12:30 and to our surprise it was ready for us!!!!!! After a long night of travel it was so wonderful to be able to get settled and relax a bit. I would definitely return!!!!!!!!

What a find!!

I read the reviews and I was a little concerned about one that said there was limited hot water - not a problem for us!This has to be one of the best finds on VRBO and in London. I personally like to stay near Paddington because it is so convenient with the Heathrow Express, with Hyde Park nearby and it enjoys quieter nights. The location of this apartment fit all my criteria and then some. The apartment itself is very spacious with a gourmet kitchen. It is the ground floor apartment, but you would never know because there is plenty of light. Whoever built it was really thoughtful. The beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious, big shower in the big bathroom and a tub in the other bathroom. Plenty of hot water! And just plenty of space to work, live, relax and enjoy London.Our host was very communicative and helpful and this is clearly a business she takes very seriously. There are plenty of nearby pubs, shops and restaurants as well as an organic grocery store not too far. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! If it is available the next time I am in London, I am definitely booking it again.

Overall our stay was lovely. The apartment is a bit more worn and torn than the photos indicate honestly. Hot water was a super challenge. The amount of time we ran out before finishing our showers was not too pleasant. But great location!

Huge apartment in a fantastic location

What a find! The apartment is huge, way more space than you would expect to find in London. This worked perfectly for our grown family so that everyone had some privacy. The apartment has everything you need inside and was an easy walk from 2 tube lines. Hyde Park is a 2 min walk allowing for a nice walk down to Buckingham Palace. We spent a week here and would highly recommend.

Nice place with lots of space!

This flat offered us a quiet respite out of the crowds of London & had a really large amount of space, especially for London. Location is great - only about 10-15 min from Paddington, is along several tube and bus lines, and has lots of restaurants close by. The large, modern kitchen and dining table allowed us to eat breakfast at the flat, cook a few meals for our kids in the evenings, and eat several take-out meals from local restaurants. One afternoon, we walked from the apt through Hyde Park to Harrods to pick up items from the food hall for supper. It's also on a pretty quiet street. The property manager was very responsive & friendly, the place was very clean, & the kitchen very nice & well stocked. Just be aware it's on the basement (bottom) floor, so there is some noise from above, but we brought noise machines for sleeping, & it was fine. Also be aware that the front (3rd) bedroom doesn't have a/c & is basically under the the sidewalk / street, so it gets some street noise in the morning, & there are no shades over the windows, so it also gets lots of early morning light (in summer when the sun is up at 5:30 am) - likely not a problem other times of the year. It was great for our teen, but is not as comfortable as the other 2 bedrooms. The entire flat is on one, single floor, & there's a small elevator to get to the flat from the main entrance, so this was a welcome perk for my mother (most places this size are multiple floors). Would definitely recommend & return!

Lovely flat, not too far from the action

We enjoyed the flat for many reasons, spacious, clean, comfortable, nicely equipped kitchen, laundry available. The host was very helpful and friendly, worked with me on last minute changes. Her responses were always timely. The location is quiet and walkable, very close to Hyde Park and Kensington Palace. You will need to travel about 30 min by bus, tube or taxi to get to many of the popular sites and West End. The TFL app was very helpful and reliable. I would choise this location again.

We could not have had a nicer property for our stay. Clean and modern. Great WiFi. Close to pubs, restaurants and underground stations. Minutes away from Hyde Park entrance. Everything was perfect..even the weather mostly cooperated. Gordana was a great host. Would definitely stay here again.

The large apartment is perfect to explore London. It is next the Hyde Park and close to all the sights. The neighborhood is very quiet with shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment is clean, with comfortable beds.

Location was very good near Hyde Park dry spacious Unfortunately the second bed was uncomfortable and the constant sound of the subway undergoround made sleep difficult. If there are children above in the other apartment ~ it can be very loud We would not stay in lower unit again

Plenty of space and Nice Location

Gordana was wonderful to work with. She went out of our way to assist us and made check in very easy. The apartment location was very safe and we had easy access to the metro and taxis. The apartment is very spacious and easily accommodates a family. We didn't use the kitchen, but it appeared to have anything you would want. It was nice to have a washer in the apartment as well.

Great apartment & location

The apartment was very spacious, plenty of room for our family of 5. Well appointed, everything was modern and nice but comfortable too. The property manager was always responsive if we had questions. Great location: we enjoyed the neighborhood, the proximity to Hyde Park and the ease of the Tube stop less than a 10 minute walk away. Overall, highly recommend!

Quite marvelous

This was my first VRBO stay and hence I was a little leery of how the posted pics would be in real life. All I can say is that I was pleasantly surprised. The flat is one level below ground but still plenty bright with window light. Room was spacious as the pictures, and with my family of 6, we had plenty of room to spread out without falling over each other. Air conditioners in the bedrooms is nice. Easy walk from Paddington and Lancaster gate stations. Our host Gordana, was responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely stay again. One of the best family vacation stays in London-no need for multiple hotel rooms, private kitchen, and time to spend the evenings together.
