A l'intérieur de l'appartement…

L'appartement peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes et comprend une chambre double king size, 1 chambre lits jumeaux, un canapé-lit double, une table à manger pouvant accueillir 6 personnes, une cuisine, une salle de bains avec des carreaux italiens et des équipements sanitaires modernes (y compris douche, toilettes et bidet) , et une terrasse extérieure avec table et chaises. La cuisine comprend les éléments essentiels pour la cuisine, y compris un réfrigérateur, plaque de cuisson, micro-ondes, bouilloire, cafetière, grille-pain, ustensiles, vaisselle et couverts. Le salon est confortable et bien équipé avec canapé, table basse et télévision. Il y a des ventilateurs de plafond dans toutes les chambres. L'appartement fait face au sud-est, il est donc possible de s'asseoir sur la terrasse le matin et de profiter d'un petit déjeuner ensoleillé.


En dehors de la maison…

La terrasse privée donne sur la piscine des jardins communs. Les parties communes comprennent un jardin tropical, une grande piscine de forme libre, une douche extérieure et des chaises longues sur les terrasses ensoleillées et ombragées. Il y a un bar, des restaurants et un petit supermarché à seulement 2 minutes à pied. La mer est à seulement 3 minutes à pied et la ville à 10 minutes, où il y a un certain nombre de bars et de restaurants.

Votre séjour comprend tout sur l'inventaire (disponible sur demande) y compris la literie, les serviettes de maison et les serviettes de plage. Sont également inclus la lessive (de la literie et des serviettes), l'électricité, le gaz et l'eau. Il y a WIFI disponible dans l'appartement (avec supplément) et une sélection de cartes locales et de guides de restaurants sont disponibles.

Tropical Resort est situé à proximité du centre des 8 km de la plage de sable de Santa Maria. Cette plage est connue pour le surf et à l'est, à environ 25 minutes à pied, il y a une plage de kite, comprenant une étendue sauvage de nature sauvage, où vous pourrez déguster un café au restaurant, faire du kite surf ou pagayer avec le chien inoffensif les requins.

Great Family Holiday

Brilliant first time to Cape Verde, we booked a self catering apartment so we could have the freedom to eat out at all the lovely restaurants. Whilst a short walk into town, the Tropical Resort was perfect for us, we enjoyed the beautiful pool and we enjoyed the beach which was only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. From our first enquiry till the end of the holiday the service and help provided was brilliant Thank you so much, we shall definitely be back.

Very good resort

We’ve spent 4 nights in the Tropical Resort. Everything was perfect. The apartment very clean and equipped with everything. The resort it’s 5 minutes away from the beach and 10 minutes away from the center, giving a peaceful and quiet environment. We’ve had some arrival and departure problems and Roger and Philip did everything to help us. I recommend a 100% this resort.

Lovely apartment, gardens and pool, close to beach

This was my second visit to this apartment. It is well equipped, comfortable and the east facing patio is a great place to enjoy meals, especially breakfast. The fabulous beach is just a short walk away. There are two small shops nearby that can provide the essentials, and there are three or four restaurants closeby too. I look forward to going back.

First time in Sal

We thought our holiday was very good! The appartment was very clean, it had everything it said in the welcome notes etc. If we had any more questions we could always contact the housemanager, who was there every day. Or we could email Philip, the house owner. The contact was very good, we would always get an answer the same day! Philip made sure we had all the information we needed to stay on Sal, like the location of the supermarkets, the restaurants, etc. Everything is in walking distance, but somethimes its nice to take a cab because they are not expensive. The town is not very loud, its very peacefull so we enjoyed our stay very much. Kite beach issn't far away, i would say 10 minutes with the car, so we went there alot to kite! Overall a very nice stay, i would definitely recommend it! Its closeby to everything, you also have two places were you can book extra things like a day riding a quad in group, or diving - snorkeling etc. If you want a holiday that is peacefull, not to loud or to many people around, just "no stress" like people say in Sal. Then you definitely should book a holiday there, and this appartment is just the perfect place to stay! You can pay in Euro's everywhere, somethimes they pay you back in Escudo but you figure it out very quickly :)) Thanks Philip for all the help and your kindness!

Hi Guys, thanks for taking the time to write such a comprehensive review. There is detail that I think will help new travellers make an good choice. I am pleased you had a great time. It’s going to sound crazy but I have been to Santa Maria so many times and my last trip was the first time I went to kite beach. I was also surprised how different that beach is. We have 4 separate beaches and they are all have something special to offer. I hope you will return soon and maybe even explore some of the other islands ;o)

Fun in the sun!

we have just returned from a sun drenched week at this lovely apartment with our 4 year old and 14week old. Everything went smoothly from start to finish with communication being exceptional from Philip and Roger from my initial enquiry, right through the duration of our stay. I was informed early on that a cot would not be available so planned to take a travel cot, however, the month prior to our stay Roger took a travel cot out to Sal with him specifically to accommodate us. This was a huge help as it meant we did not have to lug one around the airport with two kids! The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our self catering stay from hair dryers to bottle openers, cheese graters to clothes airers. The local shops are not what you would find in the U.K but with some adaptation and a little imagination you can still create some great meals. Eating out is easy with many resteraunts and bars within walking distance. There is nothing to do for children on the island but the gorgeous beach and the lovely pool area (which we had to ourselves on a few afternoons!) were more than enough to entertain our 4yr old for the week. We did wander in to town where there were some lovely little shops but again, for us, it was all about the beach and pool. November was a perfect time to visit as there were so few people around yet the weather was amazing! We did not go on any trips as we decided it was too much with a small baby but would have liked to have done an island tour if it was just the two of us. All in all a great, relaxing break away, even with 2 kids!

Perfect getaway

Quiet and peaceful location not far from beach

The apartment was accurately described and clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment location is excellent, being close enough to the beach and some good local shops. Views to the rear of the property weren't optimum, but the view from the patio (of the pool and gardens) was very nice and we had breakfast outdoors most mornings. We found two or three nice places to eat out, one of which - 'By Valeria' - does truly excellent pizzas and is just around the corner. Cocktails and food in Cam's, at the other end of town, were also very fine. Overall, we'd be very happy to recommend this apartment to our friends at the price asked.

Fantastic Christmas and New Years Eve on Sal

We had a fantastic Christmas and New Years Eve on Sal, Cape Verde. We stayed in the well equipped apartment of Philip and Roger in Tropical Resort, Santa Maria. Within walking distance of the beaches and the village. Sun, sea, beach and a nice atmosphere, a real "No Stress" holiday.

Lung och varm semester i toppenlägenhet

Bra och fräsch lägenhet med perfekt läge en bit utanför stan. Vi uppskattade lugnet och poolen mycket. Nära till stranden och stan dock. Välutrustad lgh, och skönt med fläktar i varje rum.

Super schöne Unterkunft an top Lage

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich grossartig und bietet alles was es braucht. Die Wohnung ist toll eingerichtet, sauber, liegt direkt am schönen Pool in einer wunderschönen Gartenanlage und ist nur 300m vom tollen Strand entfernt. Bis ins Zentrum ist es nicht weit und in unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich ein kleiner Supermarkt und Restaurants. Wir wurden bereits am Flughafen von Theresa herzlich empfangen und dann von Lorena freundlich durch die Wohnung und die Anlage geführt. Hatten wir ein Anliegen, konnten wir uns jederzeit an Lorena wenden und es wurde uns rasch und kompetent geholfen. Im Vorfeld haben uns Philip und Roger super bei den Reisevorbereitungen unterstützt und tolle Tipps gegeben. Herzlichen Dank dafür! Ein rundum toller Urlaub und auf jeden Fall sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank Philip!!

Quiet and relaxing, close to the fabulous beach

Within a few minutes walk to town and even less to the fabulous beach this apartment was near everything but retained a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Its a small cluster of apartments and a small hotel (yet to open). The apartment is well maintained and clean with all you need in the kitchen. The bed was very comforatable and a good nights sleep was achieved every night. Tropical Resort is only 2 minutes from the casino, local bars and restaurants etc. We were collected from the airport by taxi driver Theresa who was extremely helpful and informative. Santa Maria is in the process of being developed but the resort is tucked away from any disruption. I heartily recommend this apartment.

A lovely apartment in a great location close to the beach

The apartment is comfortable and well appointed. The terrace is the perfect place to eat breakfast, as it gets the morning sun. The gardens are lovely and well looked after. The pool is also lovely. There is also a new restaurant alongside the two existing ones, very close by that was a great place to eat and stocks a large variety of beers, including many from Belgium. All three restaurants offer different things. The apartment is as described in the listing and was clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful and so was the house manager. I would certainly recommend it to others.

We found in Tropical Resort everything we had come for. The flat was very nice and comfortable, all the devices worked perfectly. The area around the pool and the garden are very beautiful and clean. A lovely apartment close to beach and town

This was my first visit to the island of Sal and therefore my first visit to this apartment. I certainly hope I will get to return. The apartment is well appointed and has a lovely patio that gets the morning sun and makes a lovely place to enjoy a sunny, relaxing breakfast. Being on the ground floor, it offers easy access to the tropical gardens and the swimming pool. The bed was extremely comfortable and apartment was very quiet at night, all leading to good sleeping conditions. The development is attractive and there are bars and shops close by. Sal offers marvellous beaches, excellent weather and plenty of activities to enjoy, such as quad-biking, kite-surfing, swimming and surfing. There are good restaurants and bars, offering variety to suit all travellers.

lovely place

Me and my husband really liked staying at Philip's place. It was clean,tidy and everything worked the way how it was supposed to. Philip is a great host,one of the best we have ever had!very hands on,any question you might have he will reply within few minutes! also big thumbs up to Lorena (house manager) who waited for us at the apartment (transfers also organised by Philip!!) and kindly took us to the centre and showed us places where to have a nice meal!she also arranged for someone to come to tell us about all the available trips:) if you are after nice relaxing and quiet place dont look anywhere else!:-)

Best place to stay in Santa Maria

Lorena (the house manager) picked us up at the airport and drove us to the beautiful tropical resort. The apartment was very clean and Philip answered all question we had during our stay immediately via WhatsApp. The pool is nice and has some shadow places around. The beach is close and easy to reach (even our younger daughter (2 1/2 years) could walk the way). The beach is really beautiful and not many people around. We loved our stay there and would recommend it to everybody. It is quiet as it is not directly in the city Santa Maria but close enough to enjoy all the bars and restaurants as well.

L'appartement est bien situé (quelques centaines de mètres de la plage), la description sur le site correspond parfaitement à ce que nous avons trouvé sur place. Il serait souhaitable d'ajouter un peu de vaisselle dans la cuisine. Les lits sont confortables, l'appartement spacieux et très propre. Le propriétaire a été d'une grande disponibilité pour répondre à nos demandes.

Lovely relaxing place to stay

We have just come back from a wonderful Christmas and New Year's at Philip's flat in Santa Maria. We couldn't have had a nicer time there. Philip was a wonderful host; he thought of absolutely everything and went over and above our expectations, making sure we were happy before leaving and even giving us tips for where to go for New Year's Eve. The flat is very well situated, a short two minute walk to a stunning beach that goes on for miles and near to all the restaurants. It is in a quiet area so no disturbances at night when you want to relax. I would highly recommend it!
