Bob and Julie were incredible hosts and their property was everything we could have hoped for and more. They thought of everything and the private beach access was wonderful!

The private beach on Lake Superior was very special. Julie and Bob had all the extra items to make it very special, kayaks, chairs to sit and enjoy the view, fire pit and more.

My mom and I LOVED Julie and Bob's cozy basement rental. It was our first time to the UP. Julie and Bob are host extraordinaries -- truly every detail was considered and the place was exceedingly clean. What caught my eye upon booking was direct access to a public peach right on Lake Superior (which is basically your own private beach). We had a campfire nightly. It was so nice having a well-equipped kitchenette after hiking, along with the sauna. My mom is planning to bring a friend back with her next season already! Only 25 min to the park visitor center in town and a full grocery store. One our best VRBO stays to date.

Julie and Bob were some of the best hosts we've ever had, hands down. Their apartment is cost and has even you need. They are genetics with their recommendations and there's great communication. The location is fantastic, right on the lake with an incredible view. And they provide local recommendations and guidebooks. If we find ourselves in the UP again, we'll definitely stay here!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. It was very clean and the hosts were warm and friendly. Julie took time to show us how to operate the many features of the unit, which include a terrific sauna, two fireplaces, a pool table and a well furnished kitchen. On top of all that Julie had breakfast items, coffee, and a very nice bottle of wine with chocolates for us. Perhaps the greatest assest of the property is its proximity to a very nice and seclueded beach on Lake Superior which is just steps out of the front door. This property truly could not be any nicer. Best VRBO experience ever!

We had a wonderful time. The apartment was clean and comfy. The bed was soooo comfortable and the iron sheets were divine! We enjoyed spending the day at the private beach and using the sauna. Julie and Bob made sure we had everything we needed and even included breakfast items, coffee, and chocolates! One of the best rentals we have ever been to. Thank you for the hospitality! the Olks

This was a good place to stay. Right on Lake Superior, bonfire on the beach. Quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the sauna and pool table. We went to Marquette for a day of walking around shops and just taking in the views. Also close to pictured rocks which we did a 7 mile hike. The view was worth it. Overall we enjoyed it

Was just what we needed for our getaway , loved the sauna. Even though the weather was not ideal we had a great time going to waterfalls in the area and a boat tour .

What an amazing stay! Julie and Bob have thought of everything and were wonderful hosts. We loved watching the sun rise and set from the deck and the beach. The views were glorious and the sand easy to walk on. We even got treated to the northern lights one evening! Im hoping to go back sometime.

The best weekend getaway!

Bob and Julie were the best hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed plus some. The property and place were kept very clean and we will definitely be staying here again on our next trip up north!

What a great trip! Coffee on lake Superior? Can't beat that! Julie and Bob welcomed us when we got there and showed us around and were so accommodating. Such a great trip and such an amazing spot!

Perfect location, hosts and accommodations

Julie and Bob were so friendly and have thought of everything their guests could possibly want/need. The welcome gift and "starter" breakfast items were so thoughtful, the sauna so relaxing, the bed very comfortable and the Lake Superior beach so beautiful. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Great location to relax or explore the U.P.

As with every other review, we loved their place! It's perfectly between Munising and Marquette with easy access to lots of outdoor trails. It felt just like home, even more so coming to the breakfast food to give us time to get to the grocery. Don't miss going out to see the stars!
