2 chambres 1 salle de bain sur 300 pieds de façade privée sur le lac. Cheminée à bois, buanderie sur place. Grand salon à aire ouverte avec cuisine et salle à manger. Profitez de la vue sur le lac depuis la véranda séparée qui mène à une grande terrasse avec barbecue à gaz.

À l'extérieur, trouvez un foyer qui comprend du bois pour rôtir des s'mores, des hot-dogs et des acclamations familiales. Suivez le chemin vers le authentique sauna finlandais à bois.

We had a great stay at this location. The lake is beautiful, the house was perfect for our family, and the proximity to the Pictured Rocks is ideal. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful and beautiful

Had a wonderful time at this location and the area was so peaceful and quiet. The area and lake were beautiful and serene. I would highly recommend staying here if your looking for a great vacation to get away from it all.

Nice cottage on the lake

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very peaceful. The lake was beautiful. Having access to the kayaks, canoe and paddle boat were great. The cottage was perfect for the 4 of us.

Beautiful cabin in amazing location!

We could not have asked for a more perfect home base for our daily excursions around Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Marquette and the Hiawatha National Forest! The cabin was even better than described in the VRBO listing and we loved the deck overlooking 16 Mile Lake.

Lovely stay in Munising

We had a wonderful time visiting this cottage. It's very close to Munising, and conveniently located near Hiawatha National Forest and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore for kayaking, hiking, and biking. We saw 9 different waterfalls that are just a short drive from the cabin. When we were at the cottage, the kayaks and paddleboat allowed for lovely trips around 16 Mile Lake. It is a very peaceful location.

Quiet, beautiful vacation spot

The property was even more beautiful than the pictures show! Our family of 5 fit comfortably in the home and enjoyed using the boat and kayaking around the lake. This home made a great home base as we traveled around the UP. We would definitely recommend this location to others!

Great Vacation in Munising

The house was perfect! The lake was like glass it was so quiet and still in the mornings. The house was a perfect size for our little family and we enjoyed the boat and fishing off the pier. Great property!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The lake is clear and warm. Even when it rained the sunroom let us enjoy the view of the lake. We have already booked our trip here for next year.

Beautiful Get Away

The cottage and the lake were lovely. Just 20 min or so from Munising. Favorite part was the total silence of the nights there and the brilliant night sky. Saw lots of satellites and the Milky Way. Gorgeous!

Perfect Getaway!

This place is awesome! The location is perfect and has everything you will need for your stay in the UP!! If you want to enjoy the comforts of home, a clean and relaxing environment, as well as some amazing sunsets….look no further! ☺ Having the boat, canoe, and kayaks available for our use was an added bonus! Family vacation

Beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the view of the lake while cooking out on the grill. The kids loved kayaking and paddle boating around the lake. The house is clean and welcoming. So many amazing waterfalls and beautiful views to explore in the area. This was our first time not not just in the UP, but in Michigan and we were not disappointed!

Peaceful and quiet cabin

This cabin in the woods and on the water is secluded yet only minutes to the town of Munising and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The owners are very helpful and take great care of their property. They had a binder with recommended activities for local adventure and places to eat. They were right, the pastys at Au Train General Store are the best. We’ll definitely return to this wonderful place.

Great Family Vacation

We loved this cabin & view of the lake! It was perfect for our young boys. We enjoyed taking the motor boat, kayaks, paddle boat, & canoe out on the lake. It was also nice enjoying meals out on the deck and campfires on the small beach. The house was clean, comfortable, & had everything we needed. The homeowners were so nice & helpful. It was also very close to town (Muinsing) and it was only a short 10-15 min drive. We loved this place & highly recommend it!

Terrific rental!

This U.P. Cabin was cozy and comfortable. Located on a quiet lake close to Pictured Rocks it is the perfect up-north getaway. Clean and well equipped with all the modern conveniences in an old-school cottage atmosphere. They even had a canoe and kayaks we could use for an early morning paddle on the glass smooth lake. Gorgeous! The hosts were responsive and the property was just as advertised. Well worth the great VRBO rating.

Very, very nice!

Enjoyed a stay of more than a week. I can now vouch for comments I'd read indicating how nice this property is and how very responsive the owners/hosts. I've been to other properties where 'everything' was provided (except food). But, here it is actually true to nearly the smallest detail.

It could not have been any better!

One of my daughters and I, and two of my grandchildren, ages 8 and 11, just loved our stay! My grandson caught a 25” pike right off the dock! My granddaughter loved the lake to perform her gymnastics stunts in, and swim even though the water was a tad chilly! We enjoyed the fishing boat, and kayaks too. And, oh my gosh, we appreciated Pat coming to make sure we were ok when the power went out. We enjoyed so many close by attractions too. Thanks again, Darcy and family

I am from the Upper Peninsula and met my husband Pat here at 16 Mile Lake. His parents own a cottage just down the road from our Hide-A-Way and we own our own home right next door to them. We recently purchased the DQ in Munising. We are happy to call the U.P. home! The U.P. brings much joy to our lives and we hope to share that joy with others. Enjoy the authentic Finnish Sauna! Sit right next to the water and enjoy a bonfire while watching the sun go down. 300 feet of private lake frontage! Swim, kayak, boat, canoe or fish.
Come and experience our many miles of Side by Side/fourwheeler roads and trails. We are within a short distance of Pictured Rock National Lakeshore, waterfalls, pristine beaches, golf and restaurants! One of our favorites is the Buckhorn Resort just 6 short miles away.
We love the UP and hope you will too!
