We enjoyed our stay and the property was comfortable. It was nice having 3 bathrooms. Our only problem was controlling the temperature since the thermostat was not familiar to us.
The cabin is cute. The hot tub is a nice bonus and the space in the basement was more than expected. The beds really could stand to be upgraded but not terrible. But there is a mice issue. You can hear them running around and squeaking in the wall and they left mice droppings on the nightstand and even in the bed under the pillows in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Luckily we didnât see it til the last night bc the kids refused to sleep in that room after that and created a sleeping/space issue.
The property was spotless and the check-in/check out process was so easy. The property management company called me the day after check-in to make sure everything was up to par - it was! Iâve never felt more relaxed than I was at this cabin. I also liked that Pigeon Forge was a 5 minute drive from the cabin. The roads leading to the cabin weren't steep at all, which was great because I was a little stressed about that but it ended up being okay. If the cabin wasnât booked the following night after our departure date, I wouldâve booked it again and stayed another night. Canât wait for next time.
Perfect place to be close to everything but still tucked away from everything
Overall, this was a great place for my family and I to stay for a short vacation in Pigeon Forge. It was only a couple of minutes from the main strip there, so perfect to be able to come back to let my kids take naps or to change clothes when needed. It was just far enough away to feel like you were staying in a cabin in the mountains, but literally like 4 minutes from everything. The beds were firm, but comfortable. The one thing I wish was a little bit better was the outdoor hot tub. It was nice and hot, but the jets on it were pretty weak. We had a better experience in the in-room jetted tubs. Other than that, great place to stay.
Ok so last night we arrive and after dinner canât seem to shake the strange smell of burning plastic. We canât locate the smell and chalk it up to microwave popcorn. We go to bed,,, my mom wakes up with such a bad headache from the burning smell she canât sleep. So, she comes out into the kitchen and attempts to Turn on the lights and notices the wall and light switch is so hot you canât touch it. the whole house gets woken Up.
We spend the whole night crawling around downstairs and outside in the middle of the night to look for a breaker box to turn off this light switch circuit in fear of things burning down. We call the emergency line to report and decided the circuit breaker shut off is sufficient until the next morning. Iâm asked be ready for repair at 8am-
so far this is turning out to be the least relaxing getaway ever
We left while 3 maintenance guys were still here
So our relaxing weekend has been an all nighter due to burning wires In Walls , melting boxes and major electrical work requiring wall and ceiling removal , saws and nail guns. Yay. early morning repair work. now everyone is afraid the entire place had been done this badly.
Iâm thankful for the guys that spent the morning fixing the problem but our getaway has been a bit stressful due to no fault of our own. I would like to request a refund of one night +any associated fees and taxes , due to the safety issues and Our efforts and lack of any sleep last night and such a hectic loud morning
Looked different from photos. Weird broken fire pit in center of driveway. Hot tub still did not work. Called after a few hours and she said it takes 5 hours to heat but we were there for 5 days and no heat. Dryer did not heat clothes either. Did one load of towels. Had to air dry them. Otherwise ok place to stay
Overall, our experience was good. The property is conveniently located just minutes away from the action of the Parkway while being far enough away to feel like youâre truly in the mountains. Loved the coziness and warmth of the fireplace and used it several times during our stay. Some of the furniture is dated inside and the outdoor furniture could use some updating as well, in my opiniom. Wish the hot tub water would have been warmer as we did not get to enjoy it because of this. Would consider staying here again, especially if the water temperature in the hot tub is improved.
Our whole family enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable, and suited us all. There was plenty of room, it was close to everything that we wanted to do, and was great for what we needed.
We loved our stay. We had plenty of space, enjoyed the quiet neighborhood & appreciated the quick & friendly response from maintenance. Prior to our arrival, housekeeping did a mediocre job cleaning. Cabinet handles had not been wiped, carpet was not well vacuumed & there was a serious grease build up in the stove.
