Not for anyone who has mobility problems. Because of the steepness of the drive down to the main street it was necessary for us to drive down and pay for parking whenever we needed to go anyplace. Condo itself was well appointed.
This was our second time staying in this condo. This condo is absolutely amazing. We just loved it. We canât wait until we book it again for next year.
Wonderful, clean condo unit in a great location! If you're looking for a spot that's a very short walk to the Gatlinburg strip, this is perfect for you. The owner is a wealth of knowledge and has great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this unit again!
The condo is absolutely beautiful. The only negative was that the elevator from the property to the street downtown was not working, and apparently is not going to be fixed according to someone who resides there. It is a very steep incline up to the property. We chose this property due to its proximity to downtown, however the non functioning elevator to street level was a safety issue for our party. As as older adults, we chose to drive up & down & then pay for parking each time we left the property. If the elevator was functional, we would have left our vehicle on the premises & walked downtowm verses paying for parking.
We loved the condo!!! Location was great and the condo was very nice and very clean! Communication was great as well. We will definitely be looking to stay here again during our next trip to Gatlinburg.
Condo was very clean. Extras such as spices, coffee and filters, toilet paper and serving trays to carry stuff to the patios. The building is kept clean. Someone was power washing the walkways. Great location. Enjoyed being able to walk everywhere. Would definitely stay again.
Overall the condo suited our needs well. The location is amazing and really central to everything you could want to do in Gatlinburg. The condo was clean and had most of what we needed. The elevator down to the main street was broken and there were some challenges with the elevator getting to the second floor. This was not an issue for us, as we are not mobility challenged, but if you do have trouble walking up a steep hill that could present an issue. I spoke with another guest who had stayed at this condo complex in January and it was still broken so it does appear to be an ongoing issue. That's not a reflection of this particular unit it's more just something to be aware of. Doris was really helpful with the check-in process and even checked in to make sure that everything was OK with our stay. Overall it's a nice condo and a nice location and we would consider renting again
We were conveniently placed near the strip, in a quiet and gorgeous area. They decorated the apartment for Easter with very sweet little bunnies & eggs. The entire checkin/ check out process was easy and straightforward. Peaceful neighbors, lovely area, and a clean home. Thank you for a great location to some lasting memories.
This condo was super clean and nice and had lots of things provided by the owner like shampoo, soap, coffee, pots/pans, laundry detergent and even extra blankets!! Great location to walk to downtown Gatlinburg. Highly recommend! We had a great time!
This condo is very, very well done. Comfortable beds, nice towels and sheets, well stocked kitchen. Fireplace and comfortable balcony overlooking Gatlinburg. Very clean. Location fabulous, as with much of Gatlinburg a steep hillside to walk the short block to the Main Street of downtown. . We were there a bit off-season but on-site parking seemed adequate Note when making reservation, to protect their nice condo, there is a hefty security hold on your card, or option to purchase for renters insurance.
The pictures do not do this process justice. It's in a great part of Gatlinburg where yoi have views of all the major attractions from the balconies. We can't wait to stay here agajn. The apartment was spotless and decorated beautifully for the holidays. The host made sure we had plenty of everyone we needed.
Blown away....very cozy, yet spacious and inviting accommodations...loved...loved...loved the double, yet private balcony areas for the living area and master bedroom...can't to book again!!
Great place to stay. Very convenient to everything and very clean. My family enjoyed all the Christmas decorations. I would definitely stay here again.
The condon was beautifully decorated for Christmas and in a great location. It was very clean and updated and had everything we needed. We had a relaxing little getaway to take a break from the Christmas craziness. The only thing I would mention is that it is a steep walk up and down from the road to the condo. We managed just fine but something for people to know in case you have issues with it. I would highly recommend this place!!
My husband and I are retired. My husband was a vice president of Human Resources for major corporations. He grew up in Tucson, Arizona and graduated from the University of Arizona. My background was in payroll and also Human Resources. We have 6 children and 13 grandchildren. (a lot). The picture you see above was taken in downtown Gatlinburg in the fall. Being a native Californian I must say my favorite season in Gatlinburg is the fall when the leaves are changing on the trees.
We purchased an investment in Crossville, Tennessee 7 years ago. We started visiting Crossville and made some friends in Knoxville that took us up to visit Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. They introduced us to several couples that own Condos at Summit Manor. We fell in love with the people from the South and also the town of Gatlinburg. To us it's a cross between Main Street/Disneyland and Nashville. We had the opportunity to purchase a Condo at Summit Manor and we jumped at it. We love to visit Gatlinburg and do so at least 4 times a year. We decided to rent our Condo out when we are not in town to give other people the opportunity to experience the town. We know you will fall in love with it just like us.
The elevator to get to the front door is wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair and our doorway is wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair to make it easy to get through our front door. Restaurants, bars, entertainment, winter and summer activities, shops, Moonshine tastings and Wine tasting within minutes of the Condo.
