Beautiful property in great location. Car rental highly suggested as few taxis and could get very expensive. Top floor large bedroom needs mirror and air conditioning on top floor large bedroom is not sufficient unless used with fan.

Great Family Stay

We enjoyed our stay here. We especially liked the fact that our family could spread out, while enjoying both the inside and the outdoor area. It was clean, and comfortable for the most part. We did find that it got hot in the house at about midnight- due to it being the month of July. Overall this stay was great!

A lovely stay in Lucca

We had a wonderful stay at this property. A picturesque property in a lovely community. The house is located in a peaceful but not isolated location. The owners have thought of the creature comforts that visitors want and need. We especially loved having breakfast and dinner on the outside patio. A special shout out to Renate who welcomed us at the property and came to say goodbye on our last day. She made sure everything was “just so”. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful villa

This home was clean and nicely updated. It was very spacious and had plenty of room for our family of 7. The patio has a serene atmosphere and was very peaceful. It even had a pizza oven but we didn't have a chance to use it. The host accomadated our late check in and gave great recommendations to local restaurants. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. We highly recommend this home!!!

Great holiday

We had a great time with our family at Villa Brunette. The garden is fantastic, we loved the green view and the birdsounds. One day we used the pizza oven. After the oven had the right temperature we had within a view minutes a delicious pizza on our table. The location is also great. In about 5 minutes you are in Lucca. To make contact with Renate is easy, and she helped us verry well. Thank you for your kind comments, which we really appreciate! We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay and we hope to have you back one day.

A beautiful two-family trip

Renate gave excellent recommendations. She even purchased a new crib and bedding for our friends who have a toddler. This was the perfect place to unwind with 4 small kids, who were happy to run around in the yard. The country location required a short drive to restaurants or groceries, but the wonderful runs and walks by the aquaduct, plus the quite it offered were spectacular. We really enjoyed our apero in the garden, and big family meals at the beautiful old table. Nothing.

Beautiful villa

The villa was very nice. We hired a chef one night which was great. My only few suggestions would be to offer more towels for guest (without charging extra 5 euro each), have more serving platters, and do something about the kitchen sink which does not drain well and leaves a musty smell. The beds are very hard and we all complained of sore backs. These are just our suggestions which can be easily corrected All in all we had a wonderful time.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Brunetta. The house is beautiful, authentic and spacious. The kitchen is a lovely size and very homey. The bathrooms are great, although there are no ensuites. The best part of the house are the gardens beautiful , well manicured, spacious and private. The gardens had a lovely outdoor area that was wonderful to relax in, spend time together and eat out. Great location that worked very well for us. Monika was lovely to deal with, she was very helpful and responded quickly to messages. Would highly recommend! The kitchen could be better equipped and cleaner. There was also very little lighting, a few lightbulbs were not working or very low.

Idyllic setting for a great family holiday

The Villa itself is an impressive building well equipped and located in a rural setting on the outskirts of Lucca. - although walking into Lucca was easy enough via the aqueduct of Nottolini, we found parking easy enough near the city wall or at the station. The tuscan countryside was stunning, having meals outside listening to the church bells birds singing and eating homemade pizza from the impressive pizza oven or a barbecue was magical. - The well stocked kitchen worked well for us, and we found great pasticceria near by to buy croissants for breakfast. The house was well equipped bathrooms with hairdryers - the beds varied in how comfortable they were, some being a bit hard and creaky, - it adds character to the house, but we stayed 2 weeks and a more comfortable mattress would have made nights more comfortable. Worth noting though that the villa could be kept comfortably cool at night

Loved this villa. Situated in the country, all you hear is the wind blowing through the trees and the occasional church bells. We stayed a here a week with three other couples and we couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The villa has been completely restored and there is more than enough room to find your own little space. The outdoor area was perfect for afternoon/evening get togethers. A great location to travel to any Tuscan sight you might want to explore (Pisa, Cinque Terre, San Gimignano, Florence). You're five minutes from supermarkets, and a short walk to a small local ristorante that served up many a cappuccino and croissant during our stay. A full-size kitchen allowed us to cook meals ourselves. However, we did hire a chef to cook a dinner and the kitchen had everything they needed to prepare it. It is three floors so if you have issues with stairs you must take that into consideration. The bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Check-in and Check-out was easy. Would definitely stay here again.

An amazing family Christmas in Lucca at Villa Brunetta.

We loved Lucca and the villa was magnificent! It is a short drive into Lucca and was very private. The villa had been decorated for the holidays and was perfect for our three generations, six adults and two teenaged grandchildren. Plenty of space inside and out. Would love to return in the summer! Feather pillows? I would suggest you provide a box of dishwasher pellets and laundry detergent, we had to buy all the staples. And possibly some basic spices. We cooked together at the villa as a family and left a supply of spices and the dishwasher, detergent pellets behind but if your guests are only for a short stay, it is an added expense and inconvenience. More trash bags. We had to purchase them as well as only one large yellow bag was provided for recycling. These were minor inconveniences but I feel your future guests would appreciate.

Home Away From Home!

We wanted a private, traditional villa, close to Lucca, and the Villa Brunetta checked all of the boxes! In addition to the wonderful interior accommodations, including a well-appointed kitchen, we enjoyed the grounds, herb gardens, and privacy of the terrace, where we spent many mornings and afternoons/evenings! The entire villa is very spacious, including the bedrooms. Five bedrooms and four bathrooms were perfect for larger groups. Monica was very helpful and always available if we needed anything. She also volunteered "things to do", including insights on "rainy day" excursions. Also, the owner, Bruna, was very responsive to minor issues, and also was gracious enough to coordinate having the brick pizza oven started by an experienced person. The entire Lucca Villas & Apartments team was very responsive and attentive to customer satisfaction, and made our first adventure to Italy a true pleasure! We highly recommend Lucca Villas & Apartments and the Villa Brunetta! The antiquated kitchen sink could use some modernization... A WIFI extender to the terrace would be helpful, as the signal from the house was intermittent.

Wonderful host. Clean house. Comfortable beds. We were a group of 7 adults and could have comfortably had 3 more. Lovely little town. Really enjoyed our stay. It’s a 5 bedroom/ 4 bath, and I couldn’t figure out the floor plan, so I’m providing it here to help. 1st floor living dining kitchen full bath. 2nd floor: 3 bedrooms (2 Q, 1 with 2 twins) and 2 full baths. 3rd floor: 2 bedrooms (queens) with 1 full bath.

We highly recommend this villa!

We were two families, a total of seven people staying at Villa Brunetta. We enjoyed our stay very much in the beautiful countryside surroundings and appreciated the cleanliness and carefully decorated home. The kitchen is well-suited for cooking, and dining both indoors and outdoors, comfortable lounge seating inside and outside. Be aware the two upstairs rooms are quite warm in the summer even with air-conditioning, otherwise the house temperature was comfortable even 37C temperatures outside. Our management contact Filippo was very kind and professional and was immediately responsive with any minor issue that came up.
