Condo # 706 peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes avec un roi dans la chambre principale 48 'TV, un lit queen dans la chambre d'amis 24' TV et un canapé-lit dans le salon 50 'TV. La plage de Destin est à quelques pas d'une belle vue depuis votre balcon privé. Salle de bain principale a des comptoirs en granit et une douche à l'italienne. Chambre d'hôtes a et salle de bains a comptoir en granit. 3 nouveaux téléviseurs haute définition récemment installés. Le lit principal est doté d'un matelas de qualité supérieure - une Serta avec un surmatelas Tempur-Pedic. Toutes les unités sont non-fumeurs.

7th floor- one elevator

Though there were two elevators, only one worked our entire stay, and it broke down during our stay as well, briefly. We spent much of our time waiting for the elevator to take us seven floors. Our stay was not well managed by the front desk overall as we had difficulty waiting for them to get off the phone to speak with us.

The view was amazing. They even had to floor fans in the rooms. Would definitely stay in this room again. Love the new keys and the private beach. Comes with two chairs and umbrella daily on the beach. They even set them up for you.

Great Time and Great View

Really enjoyed our short trip to Destin! Unit 706 could use a little TLC, but it was comfortable, and the view from the main bedroom and balcony more than made up for any shortcomings. Plenty of seating, and the couch is a pull out if needed. They let you know ahead of time, but make sure to pick up or bring extra TP, paper towels, trash bags, coffee/tea, soap etc. Beach chair/umbrella service was incredibly convenient, and the walk to the beach was shorter than I had anticipated. The property itself is so so. Not the easiest building to maneuver around, but the staff were friendly and helpful, and location was amazing. Certainly would return.

Our experience with our stay in the Islander

Reviewer Comments: The Islander building had a major renovation outside during our vacation, nobody informed us prior to arrival that we might to have some problems during our stay. The balkony area was totally blocked and couldn’t be used at all by us.nobody was able to solve this problem for at least 3 days.

Great vacation destination

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at the Islander. It is in a great location away from some of the larger resorts. Unit 706 was exactly as described and had plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen could use a few more items but overall it was wonderful. All the staff were kind and very helpful. We came just after Labor Day so it was not very busy. I would imagine everything would be quite crowded during the busy season. It was so nice having dedicated beach chairs included. It was a little frustrating that people were able to claim chairs up front first thing in the morning and then not even come to the beach until well into the afternoon. If you are going to claim beach chairs you should have to be at the actual beach. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation!

A Mistake

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property description regarding the location was deceptive. Pictures showed facilities between the property and the Gulf as though they were part of the Islander when, in fact, they were part of Jetties East and were inaccessible to Islander guests.The unit boasted sleeping for six when their were only four towels provided and only one frying pan in the kitchen.The females at the desk were exceptionally rude. No smiles, no welcoming, no thank you at departure or well wishes on the trip home, etc. They acted as though they were doing you a favor by merely doing their jobs.

Our experience with our stay in the Islander

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Islander building had a major renovation outside during our vacation, nobody informed us prior to arrival that we might to have some problems during our stay. The balkony area was totally blocked and couldn’t be used at all by us.nobody was able to solve this problem for at least 3 days.
