Ce magnifique condo en bord de mer est situé à Destin, un endroit ensoleillé. À quelques pas de ce condo récemment rénové, vous trouverez les eaux scintillantes de la côte d'Émeraude. Profitez d'une vue directe sur les magnifiques eaux du golfe pendant que vous vous détendez sur votre balcon privé. Profitez de nos deux belles piscines privées et de notre service gratuit de parasols et de chaises. L’unité # 309 peut accueillir jusqu’à six personnes avec un roi dans la chambre principale et une télévision 40 ’’, 2 lits doubles dans la chambre d’hôtes et une télévision 42 ’’ et un canapé-lit dans le salon avec une télévision 55 ’’.

The room was nice, clean, and large enough for our family. However, the cable TV did not work in any of the rooms. When asked at the front desk for help, he said try a different button on the remote. That was no help at all…because it did not work in any of the rooms. Also, only one elevator worked on the property; however, they did have an elevator company working on it. Otherwise, the accommodations were nice.

The unit was perfect for our needs - two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a great view of the gulf from both the living room and the master bedroom. Just a short walk across the property (less than a couple of minutes) to the beach. Having beach service was wonderful. The second bathroom had a drain issue in the tub, but after calling maintenance, they fixed the problem. The second bathroom could use some updating to match the beauty of the rest of the unit.

Nice unit on the beach!

This was a nice size unit with a great view! The kitchen was stocked so we were able to make dinner every nigh. The propoerty managers were helfpul. It was great to have beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach everyday! The unit didn't have a great smell and the floors were very dirty. The beds were nice and clean.

Pictures on here do not do it Justice!

My family stayed here for 4 days. The check in process was super easy, the staff in the front desk are so sweet. I would have two complaints, the smell of vinegar is super strong, seems like they might have cleaned with it. Also, one of the beds in the room that has two is super uncomfortable, it has a weird dip to it. This has a beautiful beach/view, two restrooms, third floor right above the heated pool. Besides this I would 100% recommend, ah the area is amazing, short distance away from everything and it is quiet.

Reviewer Comments: We had a last minute urge to go to Florida and my niece was staying with the islander , so I called and checked the dates and got a room immediately! The view was great and the room was perfect! The only problem I had was laundry was a little strange with no change or soap machine but you can get all that at the front desk . Will definitely stay there again maybe 4th or 5th floor ! Staff was very friendly also .

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I recently stayed in unit 309 for a week in September 2023. The unit was clean and well furnished, however, the bed in the master bedroom was extremely firm and uncomfortable. The beds in the second bedroom were not as firm but worn and in need of replacement. I would not recommend this unit, unless you prefer extremely firm mattress and staying for a shorter period of time. I expressed my concern to the lobby folks who were very nice and they indicated they would notify the owner. Otherwise, the Islander is a great place to stay and the location is ideal and close proximity to restaurants and the boardwalk. The landscaping is immaculate, the pool was very clean and has easy access to the beach. I have stayed here on three occasions and would recommend staying here.

We had a great trip The unit we rented was sub par compared to other rentals at The Islander. It showed well online, but i was disappointed when we actually arrived. The furniture appeared dingy and the pull out couch was dirty. I thought the unit, as a whole, could have been cleaner. The kitchen was nice. The color in the master bed and bath were not welcoming and those rooms did not seem to flow with the rest of the scheme in the condo. Some of the artwork just looked cheap. We had a great time at the Islander, but I will avoid renting this particular unit in the future.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We do apologize for lack of cleanliness. We strive to have the best cleaning crews here at the Islander. We are also working with owners to update and improve each condo. We hope when you travel to Destin, you’ll let us know when you’re coming and we can reserve your favorite condo!
