The penthouse âLa Duquesaâ in Fuengirola consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and ample terrace with superb views over the beach, sea and the mountains of Mijas. The penthouse is a comfortably and modern furnished with eye for detail. You will immediately feel welcome in this wonderful and tasteful holiday penthouse. This holiday penthouse is located directly on the promenade; first line beach in Fuengirola, near the Sohail castle. The penthouse has a fully equipped kitchen with serving hatch to the living room. The living room is spacious and modern, yet cozy with a comfortable large sofa, a dining table with four chairs and bench and a flat screen TV with many international channels via IPTV. And a Blue Ray dvd player. Free WIFI. Airco (cool & heat) in the living room and all bedrooms. The living room has sliding doors that give access to the spacious southwest facing terrace with awning and terrace furniture; dining table with 6 chairs, 2 sun recliners and a gas barbecue. From this terrace you have beautiful panoramic views of sea, beach and mountains of Mijas. On the terrace you can enjoy a delicious barbecue meal or a refreshing beverage under the Spanish sun.
On the beach in front of the apartment building there are several beach restaurants (chiringuitos), here you can also rent sun beds and umbrellas. Right outside the La Duquea apartment building you find the lovely beach restaurant El Limonero where they also serve the famous Espetos (grilled sardines). The popular Bikini Beach club is at a few minutesâ walk across the bridge towards the castle. The penthouse is located on the 6th floor (with lift). There is a communal pool with sunbathing area and some parasols. Right next to the La Duquesa apartment building there is a small playground for children. And just around the corner you find the large and popular playground âParque de Ponienteâ with a bar so kids as well as the parents can enjoy themselves. Across the street from the playground you also find the weekly Sunday market. Within walking distance you will find many restaurants, bars, shops, supermarket etc. It is only a 10 minute walk to the indoor shopping centre Miramar. Also within walking distance are the church square (plaza de la constitution) in the centre and the famous tapas square, the zoo of Fuengirola, the Mini Adventure Golf, and Mijas CostaÂŽs Aqua Park. A very child friendly location.
A car is not at all needed. However should you have a car, you have the luxury of your private parking space in secure underground parking! It is a garage of 1.80 high. So not to be used for vans or Suv type cars.If you are looking for a spacious and central accommodation right on the beach and close to all amenities then this is the ideal vacation penthouse for you! Fuengirola is one of the most popular holiday destinations on the Costa del Sol with impressive sandy beaches, a boulevard spread over a length of 8 kilometres, and a harbour from where you can enjoy a selection of water sports or boat trips. You can visit the remains of the Moorish Sohail Castle on the western edge of town. In summer months there or often nice concerts, a mediaeval market or German style beer fest in the castle. On Tuesday and Saturday are the days for shopaholics when the weekly market is set up in the centre of town. On Sunday there is a smaller market at a 3 minute walk from the apartment. There is an indoor shopping centre; the MIRAMAR and EL CORTE INGLES, supermarkets, pleasant shopping streets, a wide range of international restaurants to suit every taste and every budget, cozy squares with terraces, etc. Fuengirola also has a lovely zoo right in the centre (https://www.bioparcfuengirola.es/) the water park (http://www.aquamijas.com/) and the mini adventure golf (http://www.fuengirolaadventuregolf.com/) There are also many golf courses at only a short drive. Such as Mijas Golf, El Chaparral Golf, La Cala Golf etc.

KITCHENFully equipped kitchen with serving hatch to the living room. The kitchen has an induction hob, extractor, oven, microwave, fridge freezer combination, dishwasher, coffee machine, water cooker, toaster and liquidiser. There is a build in iron board in one kitchen cupboard.
LAUNDRY ROOMThere is a separate laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron, vacuum cleaner, drying rack.
BEDROOMSThree good sized bedrooms all with plenty of wardrobes and air conditioning / heating in all rooms. All windows have blinds. The master bedroom is very spacious and has two single beds of 90 x 200 cm that can be placed together and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has sliding doors to the terrace and also has two single beds of 90 x 200 cm. The third bedroom has a double bed of 160 x 200 cm. A children high chair and baby cot are available on request.
BATHROOMSThere are two bathrooms. The ensuite bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink and cabinet. There is a hair dryer. The second bathroom has a bath tub, toilet, sink and bathroom cabinet.
TERRACESpacious terrace orientated on the southwest with awnings, terrace dining set with 6 chairs and 2 recliner chairs, gas barbecue and wonderful views to the sea, coast and Mijas mountains.
Swimming pool
There is a communal swimming pool with sunbathing lawn and parasols. No sun beds.
