Perfectly positioned overlooking Watergate Bay, 10 The Whitehouse is one of an exclusive collection of apartments just 400 metres from the beach. Combining tranquil privacy and seaside proximity the development is set within its own established gardens that meander all the way down to the beach offering guests a peaceful retreat during the crowded summer months.

The spacious open plan interior at Number 10 includes a sumptuous living area with large sink-in sofas and French doors that lead out to a perfectly proportioned furnished balcony. Here you'll discover your own blissful sanctuary from which to enjoy spectacular sunsets and all the changing moods of the ocean beyond. Relish evenings curled up together in front of the fireplace or whip up a wonderful home cooked family meal which can be shared, along with anecdotes about the day's activities, around the large dining table. The sleek kitchen complete with integrated appliances and a breakfast bar with seating has been designed with socialising in mind, inviting chats over morning coffees or for enjoying a glass of bubbly while dinner is prepared. The two gorgeous bedrooms and two bathrooms including an en-suite master and a spacious twin, provide ample room for four. Underfloor heating and crisp, high quality linens provide a calm retreat that invites a great night's sleep and languid lie-ins leaving guests feeling well-rested and thoroughly refreshed.

Watergate Bay is a truly beautiful slice of Cornwall's north coast, and in addition to sparkling waters, golden sand and an array of water-based sports, also offers a wonderful base between Padstow and Newquay. Nearby sights include The Eden Project near St Austell, Bedruthan Steps, Gurnards Head and Kynance Cove.

1 pet accepted: Please advise the Luxury Coastal team directly if you would like us to host your pet after completing your booking. A charge of £40 per pet per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay. We will arrange and invoice with you directly upon booking confirmation.

Good Housekeeping Bond
We ask our guests for a £100 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.

Pod Point Solo 3 EV charger (7kW) is available for a charge of £50 per week. Please note, the EV charger is non tethered so guests will need to connect their own type 1 or 2 leads.

Highly recommend

Loved everything about this property and would certainly stay there again.There is a lovely well kept garden leading down to the beach and would recommend the Watergate hotel with lovely views and very pleasant staff. A bus stop is within walking distance which at a different time of year and weather we would have used. The view from the apartment is amazing and interesting whatever the weather.

Stylish, well appointed apartment and ideally located for exploring North Cornwall

High quality, well appointed and immaculately maintained apartment on upper floor of main building. Access via external door keypad and staircase but without lift, hence unsuitable for mobility impaired. Keypad operated (inbound) electric vehicle gates also afford security for single vehicle parking. The apartment can sometimes be somewhat over warm during warmer seasons however due to solar gain through the roof area. Its location is ideal for pedestrian access to Watergate Bay and its’ hotel via a landscaped garden path with automatic night-time lighting and its position on the North Cornwall coast is ideal for accessing both the small and larger coastal resorts via private transport or the hourly bus service.

Lovely apartment, with sea views and superbly located

Well appointed and maintained apartment with a nice sea view and secure allocated single vehicle parking with dedicated electric charging point. Best suited to fully mobile tenants due to top (second) floor location accessed by staircase. Attractive private walk-through garden provides a safer and more direct route to nearby hotel and beach. Overall a very pleasant and stylish holiday apartment for rest, relaxation and touring.

Wonderful stay

This is an absolutely gorgeous apartment. All of the decor and equipment has been well thought out everything was perfect really. We didn’t want for anything, and it was in such a beautiful location of course. We had difficulty finding it but one of the phone numbers worked and they stayed on the line and guided us there. I would highly recommend both the place and coastal retreats for an excellent service.

Lovely apartment in an excellent and private location close to Watergate Bay.

The apartment is very attractive, having co-ordinated decor and modern fixtures and fittings and is well equipped to cater for up to four occupants. Its location on the corner of the top floor provides for a very enjoyable, quiet and restful stay with excellent views of Watergate Bay but it is best suited to occupants without any mobility or physical fitness issues, due to access being by multiple stair flights only. Ours was a second stay which we greatly enjoyed and are looking forward to a repeat stay in the foreseeable future.

Nice apartment and location but over-hot at times

The standard of accommodation is very good as is the idyllic location for coastal and countryside visits but due to its top floor location and heat emanating at times from underfloor pipework, it can sometimes be uncomfortably over-warm. Our stay was unfortunately also marred by window replacement work being undertaken in a nearby apartment and also comprehensive renovation work to a property at the rear, the former of which we were only notified about by Luxury Coastal, the day before the work actually commenced, which we should have been made aware of well in advance and given the opportunity to reschedule our booking or at least have been offered a subsequent rental reduction for the inconvenience as it marred what is otherwise a very peaceful location and setting. We therefore do not feel that Luxury Coastal addressed the issues as effectively as they should have on this occasion, but apart from this aspect, our stay was very enjoyable.
