Carpe diem was a beautiful apartment on the inside - clean, spacious and with all the necessary amenities. Rosario was a kind and responsive host who went over and above to make us feel welcome. Our only issue was the accessibility of the property - lots of security and keys and its off a very narrow road with limited parking. However, if you are not driving it is very accessible by train to Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples.
Amazing view from the back balcony, a full kitchen with everything you need to make a good home cooked meal! The breakfast she provides is delicious! She is the perfect host, we absolutely loved our stay in the Carpe Diem Room!
The location was great for what we needed. The train station was very close by and made it easy to get around. Rosario was a great host. She was very helpful at check-in. She helped us with directions and contacted us each day to see if we needed anything.
This place is so close to the train line to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast and Pompeii. Great place to stay for tourists who want to be out of busy area. Rosaria is a wonderful and attentive host. The unit is very modern and clean with a big balcony for living/ eating. She provides delicious breakfast each morning too. Thank you for our stay.
This stay could not have been better. Staying in Castellammare was the perfect location. We were right next to the train station with a short ride to Sorrento, Pompeii, or Naples. We loved Vico Equense beaches. It all felt more like visiting a friend than being a tourist.
The Room was so amazing! It was so quiet at night. AC, clean, fancy, comfortable, romantic. Awesome snacks were provided plus full kitchen with espresso machine. The terrace/patio is lovely.
We will be staying here again!!
The apartment itself was great. The balcony/sitting area was the perfect place to enjoy a late night snack and talk about the day. The apartment itself is about a block from the train station (via nocera). The town was a great place to stay. It is just a couple of stops from Pompeii and a short ride from Sorrento. So, we got to see everything while paying much less than if we had chosen either Napoli or Sorrento. Finally, Rosaria is a gem. She made sure everything was going well without being overbearing. She brought a small breakfast each morning when she cleaned the apartment and made sure that we had good recommendations for eating and information about trains and ferries. She was caring and wonderful. We would give her an extra star for being a great host, if we could. The whole experience was excellent.
The property was very clean and well maintained by our lovely host Rosaria. It is a shared flat, only two rooms - but shared kitchenette and balcony, limited cooking utensils etc. Rosaria provided clean towels every day (if you want them) and provided a basic DIY Breakfast. If eating out in Castellmare check reviews first, but weâd also reccomend Nigro - great for steak / meat lovers. Only thing to be aware of is parking - very difficult on street, so you probably need to use Garage 5, which will cost you c10 euros a night/ part day. A word of guidance the apartment is quite difficult to find, when you turn into the road, approx 20 metres on your right look for metal railing / gates! Rosaria will be looking out for you! Railway station is less than 100m (Circumvesuvio) so very convenient, as driving in Italy is somewhat precarious. Nobody speaks English, so make sure your translator app is working - enjoy!
We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the property! Everything was so nice and looked exactly like the pictures. Rosaria was very helpful and great at communicating to us. We loved eating pizza on the patio and looking at the view! The location was perfect next to the metro. Highly recommend!
