L'appartement est situé dans le quartier BORGO, l'un des endroits les plus beaux et les plus caractéristiques de Rome. La maison se compose de 2 chambres, une double et une triple, un salon, une salle de bain avec baignoire et douche et une cuisine.
Le quartier BORGO est unique en son genre compte tenu de sa proximité avec la Cité du Vatican et donc de la basilique Saint-Pierre et des beaux musées du Vatican.
C'est un quartier ancien et très caractéristique avec ses petites rues pleines d'artisans.
Cependant, à quelques mètres de cette zone, vous trouverez toutes sortes de magasins!
Le quartier est bien relié au reste de la ville par le métro qui se trouve à quelques pas de l'appartement, en taxi et en bus.

Awesome!

Very nice, clean, comfortable apartment in the middle of all the action. Would definitely recommend this apartment again. The owner was super helpful and very pleasant.

Wonderful property in a great neighborhood

The photos don’t do it justice, huge place 15 ft ceilings and great location! So many restaurants minutes away. Easy access to everything. Will stay again, hopefully come back soon

Fantastic location - great host

The apartment is in a great location for easy walking access to the Vatican and very close "closed street" cafe / restaurant / shopping. Our host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly when we had issues and questions. Only issues with apartment are: dishwasher does not work (no major deal at all), and A/C did "crash" with an error code on day 1 that resulted in a visit by a repair tech. We had an error on the A/C on day two, but turning the units off / on and cycling fan speeds solved the problem. I think day 1 issues was power related - but don't know and day 2 issues seem to be related to the units needed to defrost (maybe??) - but they worked when we needed them to work and the owner was very responsive. To note, the temperature in Rome during our visit peaked at 83F, and the evening breeze with open windows was very pleasant. A question we had was about trash - the cans were labeled metal / plastic, paper, and organics. So we asked, what about non-organics that don't fit into the other categories - and the instruction was it goes into the organics can - I'd suggest re-labeling the organics can to resolve confusion. Also, the owner asked that the renter dispose of the trash in cans that are two blocks away - we ran out of time on our early departure day to do this, but I also find it a big "ask" to do trash disposal so far away. I'd suggest the owner find a better solution or remove the ask completely. We enjoyed the apartment very much.

Do NOT recommend - no working AC, electrical outages, owner became rude and unhelpful

My family (husband, three small children, mom, and sister) had been planning a trip to Italy for months. After a long international flight we arrived to this property where the host met us for check-in. Right away as we were entering the building there was a notice posted that the electricity would be off from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in a few days. When we arrived Sabrina said she had come by earlier to turn on the 3 AC units so the apartment could cool, but it was very warm. She asked that we let her know if it didn't cool down. She also said not to run all three units at once because she needed to update the electricity. This was concerning to us since we needed to use all available rooms. That night it was hard to sleep as the apartment was VERY hot. After we returned from dinner the apartment was still very hot (Rome in June, on an upper-level floor), so her husband came by. He looked around, made some calls, but wasn't able to fix anything and said they'd send a technician the next day. Sabrina had mentioned that she had another apartment, but when I asked about it she said it wasn't ready. The next morning we left early for a tour to Pompeii, and on the road I called Vrbo support to let them know of the situation. We were worried about sleeping another night with no AC as well as the power being cut off in two days. We decided to book another hotel as we didn't want to spend any more of our vacation time dealing with an unreliable place. Sabrina finally contacted me around lunch time to say that the AC had been fixed. When I shared my concerns she said "tomorrow the power will only be out a few hours" and "the previous guests didn't tell me anything about air conditioning." When I told her that we needed AC and were sure to book a rental that had AC she replied "in my apartment I sleep with air conditioning off!" She said "everything works at home and so if you want to go away it's your choice, it's no longer up to me!" We arrived back at the apartment around 7 p.m. from our long tour day and immediately noticed how hot the apartment was. We then realized this was because there was no electricity in the entire apartment. I texted Sabrina and she said "a man is coming." At this point we collected our things, locked the doors, and left the keys in the box to find a new place. She refused to issue any refund beyond a discount for the first night. This stay was not as advertised and was unsafe and unfit due to lack of power and AC

It is true that there was a problem with the air conditioning because the system was new and the electrical power was not enough, but Ms. Kristin and her gang of people did not have the patience to wait until the next day. was repaired as it did. The next morning they had already packed their bags and booked a new hotel without knowing if the air conditioning worked. The problem of the notice at the front door where it was written that the power would go off for 2 hours did not depend on me but on the municipality of Rome. Ms. Kristin did not have the patience to wait until the next day, much less education. I offered her to refund only one night because from the second day everything was working as you can read in the following reviews. And I don't understand how she can afford to say that a house with a momentary air conditioning problem is dangerous!

Wonderful Gem in Rome!

We had such a wonderful stay at Rione XIV Borgo! I texted Sabrina to let her know we had arrived, and she was there to let us in within five minutes and was very kind and extremely helpful. She assisted us in getting acquainted to the area and gave us a wonderful dinner suggestion. The unit is actually even nicer than expected. It is huge for a city apartment, and like another reviewer mentioned, the photos don’t even do it justice. The combination of old world charm and modern conveniences make it the perfect place to stay. With gorgeous tiled floors, beautiful details everywhere, and a modern (and very clean) well-appointed kitchen and bathroom, I couldn’t ask for more. Our family of four slept in the two bedrooms and sofa bed. All were very comfy. We also did laundry while there, which was especially convenient. There is even a bit of added storage in the bedrooms since the photos were taken, so you can really unpack! The location is perfect - within walking distance to everything, with the added benefit of a quiet, non-touristy street. We came during a terrible heat wave, and the air conditioning in this unit creates a very refreshing retreat from the weather. We are Americans spoiled by central air, and this was by far the best air conditioning of our entire Italy trip! It was between 90-100 F outside and the apartment was comfortably cool at all times. After walking around in the heat of the city, we couldn’t wait to enjoy the nice shower and cool temperature of the apartment. Thank you so much, Sabrina! We will definitely stay again when we return to Rome!
