OMG! This stay couldnât have been any better! Costanza was absolutely amazing! She was so lovely & was so welcoming the entire stay. She held a cooking class for us & I learned so much. If youâre looking to stay in a homey environment, this is where to do it. Oh & Costanzas dog, Maggie, was such a joy!
Beautiful rural Tuscan farm in the middle of a residential neighborhood
Laura was cheerful and sweet and helpful. The property is beautiful, and you feel like youâre in the middle of nowhere, except right outside the gate is a residential neighborhood! This made it an easy 15 minute walk to the train to get to Florence, while having the benefit of relaxing in a beautiful setting. I would highly recommend this property.
Authentic and exceptional stay in Sesto Fiorentino
A villa that has been updated but still retains the charm and many features of a historic building. The villa has been part of the current family for 6 generations but dates back prior to that time. Costanza was a wonderful and generous hostess who took the time to show us many of the interesting aspects of the building. We used this as a base for exploring Florence (via train) and Tuscany (via car). We also took advantage of Costanza's farm to table cooking class and dinner. This is not a "cookie-cutter" experience but felt authentic and unique with antique furnishings in a historic building. We loved our stay here and would love to return! Sesto Fiorentino was also a lovely town although we didn't spend much time there.
We stayed with friends for over 2 weeks here and it was sensational. The villa setting and facilities are excellent, allowing us to still enjoy Firenze (15 minute train ride) but importantly a quick exit to surrounding villages such as Volterra, San Gigignano bit also escape for a few days to the Cinque Terre.
Our hosts and the staff are fantastic. Big shout out to Costanza, Laura and Jessica who looked after us very well and were available in need.
We participated in the cooking class and dinner, as well as pizza night and highly recommend these to guests.
Locally there is also a park that is covered in olive trees and a 10 min walk to. Every night they serve up pizza and cold drinks and if you want a taste of the local scene and get to know them, go there.
Overall, brilliant spot and villa.
We stayed as a family late June, just like the other reviewers we were blown away with the whole experience. The villa was left us wanting nothing, everything just worked. Costanza and Laura were so accommodating, from organising the transfer, booking taxis and restaurants, nothing was too much trouble.
Costanza has a wonderful outlook on life and is very passionate about her home. She also has a rescue dog who was so friendly and a pleasure to meet.
The villa is situated in a residential area so not a lot of tourists, everyone we met went out of their way to help and made us feel welcome.
Go to Florence by Train or Taxi, Trains are so cheap, taxi 30-40 Euro.
Eat at the local restaurants, they are excellent!
Take the cookery lesson with Costanza and the Meal in the evening.
Explore the grounds of the villa, sit out with a bottle of the red wine produced by the villa.
We had a wonderful holiday and we will return!
Exactly as described in the listing. A slice of historical Tuscan paradise that is a 17 minute train ride to busy Florence city. Our accommodations were very spacious and we loved roaming the beautiful 15 acre farm and gardens. Easy 1 hr drive to Pisa and our host suggested we visit Lucca, a small walled city with quaint shops and eateries on the same day - a great recommendation! Overall a very enjoyable spot for our family!
The experience this villa allows is unparalleled in our European travels. You literally feel like you are guests in a walled, private garden of a family member, all while being centrally located and a 12
Minute train from the city center of Florence. The peace and serenity gave my family the opportunity to relax, revitalize and recharge, all while visiting the heart of Florence and other Tuscan towns, only to return each afternoon to welcoming staff members and pleasant accommodations and views.
Villa was great and the host, Costanza, was very accommodating for our late arrival and needs. We loved the living room and large dining table as it was a popular hand out for our group. However, we spent a lot of time in Florence and the cab rides where $30 to $40 Euros each way. The train is much faster and only 1,5 Euros but it is about a mile from the Villa. Didn't explore Sesto much but seems like a great community.
Our stay at Villa Paridisino was a fantastic experience, that went well beyond expectations. The 15th Century Villa has been family run with that pride showing through in the Villa and 11 acres of beautiful grounds. Costanza and Laura were perfectly warm and welcoming hosts and were always there when we needed information.
We enjoyed the unique and magical experience of the large Tuscan rooms with authentic gorgeous high beamed, artfully detailed ceilings, the charming wooden shuttered windows with rod iron latches, the huge Fireplace and period doors. It was amazing to live in this history and still feel extremely comfortable. We enjoyed sipping wine on the porch overlooking the picturesque grounds of olive trees and grape Vinyards, still producing its own olive oil and wine.
We took advantage of one of the optional breakfasts and dinners, at the Villa which was unforgettably good. I especially loved the fried Squash blossoms, which were the best I have ever had. The location is convenient to both Florence and there is a train station that is 20 minutes' walk and can take you all over Italy for convenient day trips like Lucca which is where we spent a lovely afternoon. I truly can't say enough great things about this place, and just want to come back.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Villa Il Paradisino! Constanta, Serena and Laura were a pleasure to work with. Our only complaint is that we didnât have enough time there! We overbooked ourselves with activities. It would have been nice to have a day to stay on the grounds!
It was a wonderful location and very accurate description and pictures. Was disappointed that the fireplace didn't work when it advertised that it was.
