The property was as described. We were looking for secluded and this was just what we wanted. The location was quiet and just far enough from all the hustle and bustle of town. Recommend this cabin for sure.
Far enough from town to feel like youâve escaped the city but close enough to be able to go shop, eat or do touristy things without spending the day traveling. This cabin had everything we needed.
Renting was easy. Communication was good. Cabin was what I expected, comfortable, quiet, well laid out. Could have use a little more cleaning but not bad. I would rent again.
The cabin was ok but the first thing I saw was a dead roach in the bathtub, 2nd thing was the cabinet doors were so terribly sticky. I did take extra paper towels and toilet tissue which I
Every year we find a new cabin to rent for our yearly vacation. We chose Fireside Chalets this trip. Overall the cabin was clean. Besides the upper windows that show the outside view of the mountains. Had they been clean, we could've taken the perfect picture of the mountains from inside the cabin. The hot tub worked amazing. Each bathroom has a whirlpool bathtub. Big and spacious. Washer and dryer worked well. Door dash delivery Easy check in. We did have an issue checking out. That was extremely stressful especially with three children. Overall everything was great.
The cabin was not very clean. The master bed had a large hump in the middle of the mattress. I pulled the fitted sheet back to see what was wrong with the mattress and found a mattress cover with blood all over it. I pulled it off and washed it, just so I would feel comfortable in the bed. I also flipped the mattress to get rid of the large hump.
Inaccurate descriptions. No charcoal grill as stated, check-in time was later and was told fire place is turned off after April 1st. (Was lucky and fireplace was still working) Unaware of any of this until after booking. Overall, we made the best of it all and enjoyed our stay.
Cabin was disgustingly dirty. From food left in the fridge to piles of trash in the corner of the living room. Mold on the bedroom wall. Trash under the beds and in the washing machine. Dust and cobwebs everywhere. Huge dead bug on top of fridge. It looked as if the cabin had not been cleaned in months if not years. So disappointing.
Nice get away for our family. Especially since it had been 16 months since our last vacation. Cabin was nice but could use a good dusting on walls and ceiling fans. Had an issue with strong smell of smoke and marijuana when we first arrived . This is a SMOKE FREE CABIN, but this was quickly addressed by Rhonda. She sent someone out with a machine to pull smoke and marijuana odor out. We had to leave the cabin for about 2 and a half hours while this was done but it was so worth it! When we got back the odors were gone.
You definitely need to make sure you have a four wheel drive vehicle if you plan on staying at this cabin in the winter months. Very narrow inclined roads. Nice to have a washer and dryer unit to have clothes cleaned before you leave home. Very quite area. Nice full time neighbors too. Overall we had a good time!
What a beautiful location up in the mountains, just miles from Pigeon Forge. We rested up from work and got to enjoy helicopter ride in town. Shopped and ate but mostly stayed at the cabin because it was so perfect.
There are neighbors near by (maybe a half acre away from this cabin on both sides), trees all around will block your view, though! Itâs secluded and refreshing!
For those who are curious - the lay out of cabin was perfect for older folks like us. When you walk through front door; the bedrooms are on either side of you, you walk down 5-6 steps at end of the hall to get to the living room and kitchen. There is a large patio with big hot tub, 4 rocking chairs and a grill outside the kitchen/livingroom.
Some cabins have around 15 steps up to second floor and itâs exhausting taking luggage up and down. Not this cabin. Itâs easy. Simple but perfect đ
The location and view from the outside was great, but the inside of the cabin had obviously not been cleaned prior to our stay. Immense dust everywhere, dried food on âcleanâ dishes and hair on the walls in the showers. On top of that, there were huge leaks in the ceiling in almost every room. The kids could not sleep in one of the beds due to a leak right above the bed and we couldnât get in the shower in one room due to the issue. With the time of year we went and getting snowed in this was a huge inconvenience! My pregnant daughter was shocked when turning on a light switch due to the leaking in the walls or faulty wiring Iâm assuming. We reached out to the host to handle privately, but unfortunately have still not been contacted in regards to the issue or the stay. Very disappointed that this was how our first Christmas together in years was spent.
Everything was great except the cleanliness of the cabin.
Floors are dirty, dust on top of refrigerator,
Popcorn and peanuts in the sleeper sofa, hair in tub jets.
Would be an extremely nice place to stay if cleaned.
We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was pretty clean. There were some cob webs up on the ceiling in the bathrooms and a blanket that smelled like dirty dog, but overall the cabin was super clean. Our daughters loved the soccer table and having a tv in their room. I was bummed that the jets in jacuzzi tub didnât work, but we still had the hot tub. The beds were definitely no comfy hotel beds, but I slept fine. One of the beds had a spring poking through the mattress. Other that, the cabin was super cozy! We would definitely stay there again.
