Situé à 1 pâté de maisons de St. Charles Avenue, ce luxueux cottage est adjacent à un manoir de style victorien datant des années 1890. Inspirée du design classique des cottages créoles de la Nouvelle-Orléans, cette propriété a été rénovée récemment et comprend: brique naturelle au 1er étage, escalier en bois teinté d’acajou rouge et moulures de fenêtre, parquet au 2ème étage et armoire antique. En bas salon a un lit de taille, un canapé-lit de taille normale, de nouveaux appareils de cuisine en acier inoxydable, et salle de bain complète. A l'étage salon se compose d'un grand lit et un canapé-lit double. Dort confortablement 4 et jusqu'à 6.

La propriété est à proximité des restaurants, marché du frais, la pharmacie, les transports en commun et piste cyclable. Les voisins sont à la baisse la maison et sympathique, avec beaucoup d'hospitalité du sud.

Great little spot with easy access to all of NOLA

Great use of small space. Plenty of places to sleep. So close to the street cat, making it easy to get almost anywhere.

Charming Cottage in Great Location

The cottage is charming & has a great location. The space was clean & beds were comfy. Only 1 short block to the St. Charles streetcar & a nice grocery store. Easy home base to explore the Garden District from. We’d stay here again.

80th birthday sibling get-together

Everything worked very smoothly, the cottage was well equipped, although we were a little nervous about sleeping accommodations, regular beds & all futons we used were completely comfortable (i.e. all 3 of us slept thru the night every single night, linens & blankets were good. The kitchen was a little under-equipped, which was a blessing in disguise: we happily ate out every evening!

Great place

My fiance and I went to New Orleans for a week and didn't want to deal with a hotel. This cottage caught our eye and we are so glad it did! It's the perfect size for a couple or small family and is in a perfect location! It's in the Garden District but only a block from the streetcar that runs right to Canal Street. The property manager was very pleasant to work with and they were so accommodating. Only warning I'll give is that the stairs to the loft are steep, so don't try to take them after excessive drinking.

Close to streetcar

Comfortable beds, very close to walk to the streetcar and Magazine St. If you choose to Uber to Bourbon St., it’s only a couple minute ride. The cottage was comfortable and clean.

NOLA vacation

Was a great place to stay, had all we needed for the 3 day trip.. easy travel to French quarter and all the food & drinks near by... property is beautiful and very safe and secure.. would stay again when we go back

Really cute cottage, just off St. Charles

This cottage is really cute and was very clean. My daughters loved the window seat upstairs. The only snag we hit was our check-in code did not work when we arrived. That was resolved pretty quickly and we really enjoyed our stay. There's a grocery store close enough to walk to and that was a great feature as well.

Great Essence Festival 2022 Stay!

The cottage was perfect for my family and I. We needed to travel with our small dog and he was allowed to stay! The entire space was clean and fresh with nice appliances and complementary coffee & Keurig. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked great. The four of us had nice and comfortable bedding and premium towels and shower head!! All in all our stay was excellent! Parking was no problem and the price was great considering it was a BIG festival weekend!

Super Convenient!

We loved our stay here! 1 block from streetcar pickup. 1 block from bus tour pickup. 1 block from grocery store. Walking distance to magazine street shops and restaurants. Easy check-in and easy check-out. Highly Recommend!

Incredible

I'm not sure where to begin with this! Del is amazing! He always replied to any questions or concerns within minutes. There was a mix up with our booking and he went above and beyond and gave us a great deal for the inconvenience. We stayed in the cottage, my husband and I and our teenage boys. It was extremely clean and the decor was perfect (loved the brick floor). There's a twin bed downstairs, a pull out couch/bed and a queen in the loft with a futon as well. There's no TV upstairs and the only bathroom is downstairs. Stairs are kind of steep. It was perfect for our needs. We parked in front of the house and had no issues (you can park on both sides, we didn't know that at first but Del told us when we got there). We left the car and took the streetcar everywhere. There's a streetcar stop 2 blocks away and a Fresh Market as well if you want to pick up some groceries. This was in a good location. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic stay

We are a military famy transferring into the area and needed a comfortable place for an extended stay until our household goods arrived. This location could not have been better. A block away from the market, 2 blocks from the ferry, and surrounded by the beautiful Garden District. We throughly enjoyed our stay and host offered fantastic service and communication. We had some special requests due to our situation and host was very accommodating. Highly reccomend.

Perfect place!

We loved this place! We come to Nola every year and have been using VRBO properties for several years. This is absolutely one of our favorite finds. The location is great. Five minute drive or uber to restaurants and shopping along Magazine or really anywhere in the City. The place itself was VERY clean and comfortable and really cute and had a great little yard. Del was quick to respond to any questions and is an excellent host. We will definitely be back!

Creole Cottage exceeded our expectations!

This Creole Cottage in the Garden District was lovely. Immaculately clean with up-to-date furnishings, very nice linens and rugs, and a nicely equipped kitchen - it exceeded our expectations. We appreciated the extra touches: keyless entry, hepa filters, and Community Coffee! Our hosts kindly suggested restaurants for our Thanksgiving Dinner and we were thrilled with our fabulous meal at Doris Metropolitan. We highly recommend the Creole Cottage!

I'm a modern jazz trombone playing producer who spends time traveling and teaching kids music and musical theatre. I've been on the road since the age of 18, so I know what it's like to be away from home and need comfortable accommodations. Spent time traveling the states, S. America, Europe, Japan, and S. Africa playing with legendary jazz musicians as well as my own groups.

Born and raised in New Orleans, I've lived in this house for 25+ years. Watched New Orleans transform both before and after Hurricane K. A saints fan for life...who dat!

I've got 5 brothers, 1 wife and 1 daughter, so I treat everyone who stays like family. If you want constant communications, suggestions or referrals, we've got you covered. Or if you just want a place to lay your head, chill and be left alone, it's all good!

My wife Trena does the decorating and I am admittedly obsessed with renovating. Just like the brand of jazz I play, I love mixing the old school with the modern. The natural look of wood finish is also a favorite, so just about all of the interior doors in the house are stained and finished, not painted.

My keys to life: Love, respect and good old common sense!
