Spacious house with great location.

We had a fabulous time at this house with our family. Plenty of space, nice outdoor areas and close to the beach. Access to pool and hot tub were a major bonus.

Beautiful house/Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is large and in a great location. Plenty of room and amenities!! Just a note, the beaches across the street are a campground lot with fencing so you have to walk down a bit to the opening. Also there is a grand piano that is covered and the owner does not want touched, so if you have young ones, that may be an issue.

We enjoyed having you. Yes, the beach in South Carlsbad is Beautiful and a walk down the steps or the hill to sand access. Great for viewing the dolphins. Thousands per year enjoy it and have no problem walking down stairs to access the the beautiful ocean.

Immaculate Carlsbad Rental

We rented this property for a mother daughter trip and had a wonderful time! There were 10 of us total staying at the property and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out… the home is very clean and updated… with really wonderful outdoor spaces, both in the front and the back for gathering. The owner, Michelle, is absolutely wonderful and was a pleasure to interact with and addressed all of our questions. We will definitely return!!

Beautiful property, close to a beach

We had a lovely time doing a family reunion with beach time, game nights, s’mores and dinners on the town. This is a beautiful house with all of the amenities for a large group. We a had one hiccup with a broken bed and Michelle responded immediately and got it fixed for us.Carlsbad is an excellent place for families - safe, clean, large public beach and 2-3 other beaches nearby, many restaurants and close to amusement parks. I highly recommend this rental.

Michelle was responsive and worked with us when we had questions. House is right near nice beach, spacious and clean. We loved the big kitchen and outdoor lounging area - easy to have family cooking together and enjoying the coast.

Great house and location for a family gathering if you like the beach and beautiful Carlsbad. Michelle is a wonderful and responsive owner. We felt it was time and resources well spent. Only suggestion is that a keypad door lock or the use of a "lockbox" for entry keys would be helpful.

Great location, close to the beach and lovely home.

We stayed here for our family reunion. It’s a lovely home in a quiet neighbor within walking distance to North Ponto Beach. Michelle is a caring owner and excellent communicator. The home is spacious, with a fully stocked kitchen and very comfortable. Would definitely return!

Beautiful home. The beach toys, chairs and boogie boards were nice to have. They left a little welcome basket which was unexpected and and super nice. Parking is easy. Beach is about a 10 min convenient walk.

Family of 12 had plenty of room in the house and comfortable beds. Kitchen was great!

This property was beautiful. Only two things we’d change was knowing about the early morning train that toots Its horn and the beach is across the street but it’s a pretty busy Boulevard you have to cross , other than that we were extremely pleased ! Thanks for great memories!

Yes I agree! The trains now toot their horns to alert anyone that could Ben near the tracks. They are required to toot the horn due to a few fatalities on the tracks. This is new and i hope the trains stop it. Anyway, great to have your group.

5 star review: house perfect, host awesome, vacation fantastic. The House was super nice and very comfortable for my whole family. We had Plenty of room to stretch out. It had everything we needed. The owner/manager was wonderful. She is an Excellent communicator and was very accommodating. I feel like she would have done anything to make our stay as great as possible. The location was ideal. Easy walk to the beach and nice surf break out front. It was all that was advertised and more. Would definitely rent there again.

Beautiful house and location

Perfect house for us to stay at while there for sports. The house is stocked with anything you need for cooking and relaxing. Loved having all the beach chairs/boogie boards as well. Cute backyard seating and front fire pit. Owner did have to tell our group to quiet down which once we were told that we did our best to ensure there was no outside noise after 9:30pm. Such a pleasure to be walking distance to the beach made for great walks, beach time and perfect sunsets.

Perfect

This home was the PERFECT stay for our sons graduation at Camp Pendelton. We arrived a few days early and it was in the perfect location. The beach was across the street. The home was absolutely beautiful. It was full of all the amenities necessary for a family vacation. We had several teenages with us and the pool table and hot tub were great for entertainment. It was close to Camp Pendleton, Legoland, shopping and several great restaurants. I would highly recommend this property.

Outstanding property that delivers on all levels.First off, I never I rarely ever reviews, but; I had to make an exception on this one. This perfectly maintained home features high-end amenities, including a Thermador Range and Oven and a De’Longhi Coffee/Espresso maker. The attention to detail throughout the property is evident, with every element thoughtfully designed making this an Outstanding rental experience.The outdoor amenities are equally impressive, offering beachfront access, a fire pit, and ample space for relaxation. Our group of 11 was comfortably accommodated, with the expansive layout providing more than sufficient room for all. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the property offers convenient parking on the street and in the driveway. The beach is just a short walk away, and Carlsbad Village is easily accessible by a brief drive, making it an ideal location.I had the pleasure of meeting the host, who is genuinely kind, professional, and dedicated to ensuring a great stay. This property is an outstanding choice for large groups or families seeking 5 start a retreat.Highly recommended—6 out of 5 stars.

Improvements needed.

The furniture in the Master Bedroom is very nice, but the furniture in all the other bedrooms need a substantial upgrade. All beds need to have nightstands and lamps for reading. The jacuzzi control panel does not work, the bedroom downstairs need the walls repaired and painted and the window in the side room (off the Master bedroom) is not working.

All good points. We responded immediately to every minor request or issue they created for this group the moment they arrived. We haven't had any complaints all summer, only happy renters. Some groups are difficult to make happy no matter how hard we try.

Good vacation, few unexpected bumps in the road...

Although the house was beautiful, well stocked, and well maintained. We were VERY dissapointed when we got there to find that that hot tub was not working and neither was the clothes dryer. When we contacted the home owner, she did get someone to look at the hot tub quickly, but unfortunately the conclusion was that it was unusable for the whole week. Our kids were very disappointed. The clothes dryer was replaced, but I felt that it could have done quicker (we arrived on Sunday, it wasn't replaced until Thursday) so we had damp beach towels and no ability to do laundry the majority of the week. We did receive a small reimbursement for all the trouble but I am not sure it was adequate. All in all, I did rate the stay as good (not good all the time) since I did experience angst in texting and talking back and forth with the homeowner to get the issues resolved and the hot tub was one of the main criteria we had in selecting a vacation home. If you are lucky enough not to have any of these "unexpected" issues happen to you, this is a great place to rent (location, quality of the house, amenities, etc.).

We sent our Fabulous Handyman out immediately upon receiving renters complaints....on a Sunday to troubleshoot the spa & Dryer issue. Spa & Dryer had both worked the week previously. He spent 4 hours. Spa is now fixed. The Dryer is also Brand NEW. We ordered a Brand New Dryer on Sunday when renter complained that the current one was broken. Home Depot and Sears could not deliver sooner than Thursday. Not sure how many appliances renter has ordered because that was the quickest arrival we were able to find. We responded immediately to every request. Renter also received a discounted rate and substantial refund. We do all we can to make our renters happy, sad that some people are like this.

Beautiful home, fantastic location! Nice and quiet neighborhood. Great for a large family!

This was a great house for our family of 11. There was plenty of space and we were not on top of each other during our stay. Three bathrooms made it easy for everyone to get ready for our day, no waiting!! The pool table was a great extra! The location was within 30 minutes from Sea World, 15 minutes from Legoland and 5 minutes from the beach! The bbq was great as well! We would definitely stay here next time!
