Entourée de milliers d'hectares d'espaces ouverts sur une colline au-dessus de sa propre plage de sable, la maison offre une vue sur les eaux claires et tranquilles (pas de bateau à moteur autorisé) de Wincheck. Excellente baignade sur la pente progressive de la plage. Profitez du kayak, du canoë et du canotage avec les embarcations nautiques fournies. La randonnée est belle avec Ell Pond, le seul endroit du RI à être inscrit au registre national des lieux naturels à 800 mètres de la maison. Non loin des plages de Westerly ou de Charlestown, Mystic ou Providence historique et Newport mais vous ne voudrez pas quitter la propriété.

Perfect Family vacation

This was our second time staying at the lake house and we are very happy that we returned. The house with private beach is perfect for young kids. It’s absolutely beautiful with so many things to do.

Best vacation spot ever!

This is the second time we stayed at this location and it was just as amazing this time as it was the first. My son loved it so much that he rented it with his family last year as well. We hope to make this a family tradition, as it’s close to home, yet definitely feels like paradise.

Everything Listed and More!

This was one of the better stays we’ve had! The area was beautiful, the house and property were as pictured and better than listed, and we thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting. The house and area had the best of both worlds—everything you’d want for an analog stay/relax, but internet and amenities for the modern world. We loved our time there and will gladly go back!

Amazing little retreat

Perfect home and setting for us to get away for a weekend! The pictures are exactly what you get but it’s so much more to just be there and enjoy. Loved taking a paddle board and canoe ride around the lake. Loved sitting in the little nook inside that overlooked the lake. Trail very close by and also a great adventure!

Timeless Oasis

Looking to relax and recharge? Look no further, as this is a MUST stay. Bill and Allison were wonderful hosts and the property is exactly as listed. The charm and character of the property is only outdone by its location. You are close enough to enjoy Mohegan Sun and Mystic or far enough away to feel like time stops as you recharge yourself. An absolute must stay for those looking just to relax.

Beautiful Place to Stay

This was our second year staying at the Lake House. It is a lovely property, nicely maintained with new amenities. The AC was needed and appreciated. Wincheck Pond was refreshing and fun for boarding, boating and swimming. Local hikes and cycling to Ell Pond, Patchaug State Forest, etc. is a highlight of staying here. We hope to stay here again soon!

Lake House

Perfect location, beautiful view. We went with our 1 & 2 year olds, so a private beach was perfect. Had everything we needed, some things in the house itself could use updating/replacement, but did not take away from the vacation - the lake is the main attraction.

We love this relaxing week away on Wincheck Pond. Great hiking nearby. Relaxing and quiet rural setting. Blueberry picking on the pond was a treat.

Great spot on the pond!

This was the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. So private and quiet. Plenty of watercrafts, the sandy beach was amazing, propane firepit on the beach was a plus, plenty of outdoor chairs. The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was easy to communicate with Bill. Fireworks on 4th of July were a bonus! We'd love to return!

The perfect family getaway

What a wonderful vacation spot for our family! There is so much to do on this beautiful property that you never have to leave. We enjoyed the many activities available to us on-site as well as nearby hiking trails. The owners were friendly and responsive and made our trip that much more enjoyable! Great lakefront getaway

Clean, well appointed, beautiful location with private beach. Bill and Allison were easy to deal with and answered all of our questions promptly. We had a great week swimming, fishing, kayaking, and relaxing on the beach. Would recommend!

Peaceful Fall getaway

Visiting from NC for family wedding. This was the perfect spot for us, on tranquil, beautiful Wincheck Pond. The pine paneled 2-story house is well appointed, clean and comfortable. Yes, it has its own sandy beach, with propane fire pit, 2 canoes, 2 kayaks, and paddleboards. The owner was kindly attentive in assuring we had all we needed. Henry David Thoreau would've appreciated the quiet, natural setting, with wildlife and foliage galore. Two amazing hiking trails were only 1/2 mile away. It was a quiet and relaxing stay.

Great little pond

This was our second year staying at Wincheck Pond and it was just as great as the last. Our boys, ages 16 and 13, loved playing cornhole on the lawn and swimming off the beautiful beach. While there are a few other houses on the pond, most days we felt like the only ones around.

Just perfect!!

The house is outstanding with incredible views and a very nice private beach. Very cozy. Great WiFi. The house is well stocked with kitchen tools and cookware so that it is easy to prepare meals. The property owners (Bill and Alison) were very helpful. We definitely plan to return in the future!

5 stars! This vacation rental exceeded all our expectations! The setting is idyllic, offering a serene and private retreat perfectly in harmony with nature. The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking—something you have to see to believe. Inside, the house is impeccably clean and wonderfully comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
