Charming 5th floor with elevator. Loved the area. Away from the tourist traffic with lots of stores and restaurants. Easy metro access. We really enjoyed being able to make coffee in the morning. Has all the amenities.
Very typical Paris flat. Convenient to several metro stations, local shops, tons of restaurants. Not a tourist neighborhood, so if you want a more authentic feel of Paris life, this is a great choice!
The host was very responsive. The place was located in a great location with not as many tourists which we liked. There are a lot of stairs but had a small elevator you can use.
What we liked:
Elevator, shower, internet and tv, quiet bedroom, good bed, and again the location was perfect.
Some drawbacks to consider:
Step up into bedroom and toilet can be challenging for seniors.
Toilet is too high off the floor.
Very suitable for a short stay.
The location in Monmarte was great, we had a few minor issues with the shower and balcony situation not being what we expected based on photographs and the elevator in the building frequently not working as well as no toilet paper or paper towels at the unit upon our arrival. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this space for couples wanting to explore monmarte!
Nice apartment in a fun neighborhood. It was in the mid 90s during my visit, and Maxime was kind enough to buy a fan to help with the heat. Still pretty toasty, but at least sleep was possible. Great windows that open onto a small terrace, though when open itâs a bit noisy. Silent when closed though.
This one bedroom, in a classic French apartment building, was clean, spacious and located in a fantastic neighborhood. Steps from Sacre Cur, multiple cafes, bakeries and groceries located within a few blocks. Near several Metro stations, but you might want to avoid Chateau Rouge, as pickpockets made an attempt on us the first day. Attentive owner with great communication throughout. We were lucky to find this spot. A great value!
Located in a classic, quiet, fin-de-siecle residential building, Maximeâs apartment is beautifully appointed and perfectly situated on a non-touristy, residential street in Montmartre. It is convenient to the Metro and the many sites and attractions of the 18th Arrondissement. The street offers bakeries, wine shops, a butcher with excellent prepared food and numerous bars and restaurants. The apartment is handsomely decorated in a mid-century style and features a striking collection of contemporary art. The queen size bed is very comfortable. Linens, tableware, and glassware all complement the space. After long days of long walks and museum going, it was a pleasure to return to such a comfortable and beautiful space. The balcony is a lovely spot to enjoy morning coffee or an evening aperitif. This apartment exceeded our expectations. I expect we will plan future visits to Paris around its availability. Thank you, Maxime.
Nice flat with a Parisian vibe in the middle of non-touristy area although itâs just steps from the center of Monmartr. There are many cafes, bistros, bakeries, butcher shops just outside of the building ( check on the Cafe Francoeur). Beautiful balcony is a bonus!
