Typical stone made villa with pool placed in the countryside on the hill of Sanremo. The villa is structured on 3 floors and is composed of a large kitchen with dining room, 2 living rooms with terrace, a game room with pinball and soccer table, 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, 1 twin room and 2 bathrooms (one with shower and the other with bath). The bedrooms are all interconected and placed at the top floor. Outside, there is a large pergola with a table to dine and, in the sunniest part of the garden with the olive trees, there is a big pool with an equipped place with all the furniture to sunbathe. The villa is placed 20 minutes far from the Sanremo center and 15 minutes far from the sea. It is suggested for the families and people who love the nature and like to spend a relaxing holiday far from the bustle of the city .

It's needed to schedule the presence of the owner, just few hours during the week and only outdoor, to take care of the garden and the pool.

It was fantastic! The welcome from Lorenzo and his mother was heartwarming. The accommodation is a little gem and met all our wishes. Beautiful surroundings, close to the sea. Everything is easily accessible from here. I love this place!

Very charming accomodation.

Huge property and big pool surrounding the old stone villa. The online description is fair enough. The sleeping rooms situation should be taken into consideration before booking (open, no doors). For good friends and families an accommodation highly recommended. By car 9 min. to next supermarkets, 15 min. beach and old town. Absolutely friendly and helpful hosts.

Beautiful countryside villa with large pool and nice view.

There is not much to say, we enjoyed our stay a lot. We stayed there for 2 weeks with our three children. The host, respectively the host's father, was very welcoming and the check in was easy. The villas area is very huge, and in total privacy. In my opinion the photos on the site do not represent the beauty of this residence. As negative points we can only mention the kitchen equipment (pots, bowls, knifes,..) and there were only 2 wine glasses. Everything else was in good shape. We did not have any problems with the road to the villa. Of course, as shown in the pictures, the house in somewhat in the hills of San Remo, and therefore there you have to take a side road from the main road with about a 10-15min drive. To Taggia its about 20min drive. To summarize, my wife called this house an "old house with character". We thank the hosts a lot for this awesome stay at their place, and we can definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely Beautiful

My wife and I recently returned from spending 2 weeks at this delightful villa and it is truly an oasis. It is hard to describe the joy of waking each morning to the view of the sea from our bedroom window. The grounds are beautiful with many different fruit trees as well as the many olive trees and the grape arbor that we parked under each time we returned. The villa itself was very clean and well appointed. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay quite enjoyable. The pool is large and very private, We spent several days just relaxing by it enjoying the sunshine and quiet. The road to the villa is narrow and curvy, but we did not find this to be a problem as the drivers we encountered were always courteous and the views on the drive to town were spectacular. The thing that made our stay special was the kindness and concern of the owners. They met us in town and escorted us to the grocery store and waited while we purchased the things we needed for our stay. When we arrived at the villa they walked us through the entire house and made sure we understood how everything worked and answered any questions we had. They were very friendly and wanted to be sure we enjoyed our stay to the fullest. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and relaxing vacation surrounded by beauty.

Stunning villa with character just 20 mins from the coast

This is exactly the type of villa we were looking for. Lots of typical stone work , well maintained and superb private property with great views of the mountains and ocean. If you like a villa set a little further back from the coast , this is a good choice. Its not an easy drive up or down as the roads are very narrow but you just get use to it after a few days its ok. The villa set up is good, the kitchen is well equiped with dishwasher and expresso machine and there is plenty of seating both close to the kitchen and outside. The living area is very cozy and we watched a few movies at night and felt at home. There is a great breeze throughout the villa. The pool stays warm thanks to a cover that is easy to put on / off. The bedroom layout was great for us but may be a problem with more than 4 adults but you just have to get organized. Slept great as its very quiet. Communication with Lorenzo was easy using whatsapp. So useful as he was really quick at answering questions. His parents , who checked us in are lovely and are great hosts. This villa is not for everyone as I imagine some people need to be closer to the beaches but If you are looking for somewhere a little away from it all this is the right choice.

belle maison

maison agréable, piscine et terrain tranquille, cependant il est urgent et impératif de changer la literie (matelas usés et lits qui grince a chaque mouvement). toutes les chambres communiquent et sont sans portes, nous étions 2 couples et 3 enfants , tous passent par la chambre 1 pour aller dans la chambre 2 et la 3 ou la 4. malgré les 20 minutes sur les routes très étroites tournantes et montantes qui rappelle la corse pour accéder à la maison. Nous avons tous de même bien profité du soleil, de la piscine et la tranquillité des lieux. Les propriétaires sont charmants.

Une semaine de rêve dans une villa de rêve !

Bonjour, Nous avons passé une semaine parfaite dans cette très belle villa. Elle est tellement agréable qu'on a eu du mal à s'en éloigner pour visiter un peu la région... Et pour couronner le tout, un accueil charmant par Lorenzo et sa mère, en anglais, italien et français. A recommander sans hésitation.

Great Place

One of the best and beautiful place I've been. Pictures can not even show how the place is great. The only minus points ( that is why I do not give 5 stars) is that the location is on the top of the mountain. You need to drive for 15 min in a very little oneway road . I was in Viano... maximum size the road allowed. But of course that can be a plus points also because when you are on top ....you are alone in the nature. Other point is that all rooms are connected to each other without, sometimes ,doors..... privacy is not the best. But I will go back...for sure. A wonderful stay in San Remo!!

Dear Lorenzo, As you already know we had a wonderful stay in your house during 2 weeks and we simply love everything: - the beautiful house (cold comparing to the weather), very clean and well-arranged - the terrasse (both on the swimming pool and under the shadow) - the surroundings where we could run every morning - the kindness of our owners The only minus could be the access (as the streets are not very good and it is very illy); a suggestion could be a partnership that you could organize with a car rental company in San Remo or somewhere else so that your guests can fly to Nizza for instance and rent a "small and managable" car to reach your mountain!!! Some of our relatives would like to book the house in the near future and we most probably try to book it for next year as a baby will born in the meantime and I am sure it should be fantastic for us!! Wir haben eine Woche mit Fsmilie in dieser schönen Villa verbracht. Das Haus hat sein Alter und dadurch einen ganz besonderen Charme. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und wurde uns sehr sauber übergeben. Alle Elektrogeräte funktionierten einwandfrei. Geschirr und Kochuttensilien sind genügend vorhanden. Die vielen Sitzmöglichkeiteb um‘s Haus herum und der große Pool sind ein zusätzliches Highlight. Abends hört man die Frösche quaken und morgens die Hähne krähen. Alles im Einklang mit der Natur. Uns hat das überhaupt nicht gestört. Lorenzo und seine Eltern sind sehr sehr herzliche Leute und man fühlte sich sofort willkommen. Bei Fragen wurde sofort reagiert und es wurde immer wieder nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Ich kann diese Villa mit ihren Gastgebern besten Gewissens weiterempfehlen und vergebe alle Sterne, die man vergeben kann. Wir werden ganz ganz sicher wieder kommen. Alles wie bereits in den anderen Reviews beschrieben: große Villa und Grundstück zur alleinigen Nutzung in den Bergen über Taggia. In der Nähe ist eine Motorcross Anlage und weitere Grundstücke, von denen man aber kaum bis gar nichts mitbekommt.Die Straße nach oben ist kurvig aber neu und breit gebaut. Unser Navi hat sie jedoch nicht auf Anhieb gefunden, daher praktisch, dass uns die Eltern von Lorenzo ab dem Supermarkt den Weg gezeigt haben. Die Fahrt hoch aus der Stadt dauert etwa 5 Minuten. Man ist also auch schnell wieder unten, sollte man spontan weitere Einkäufe machen müssen. Generell war die Kommunikation mit Lorenzo und seinen Eltern immer sehr zuvorkommend und einfach. Nach einem Gewitter in der Nacht, kamen sie (auf Nachfrage) kurz vorbei, um nach dem Rechten zu schauen und die Poolanlage neu zu starten. Man hat hier definitiv einen ruhigen Spot mitten in der Natur (den man sich natürlich auch mit entsprechenden Tieren teilt) mit super Ausblick, ist aber genauso schnell wieder im Geschehen und unter Leuten, wenn gewünscht. Als einzigen Punkt zur Verbesserung könnte man demnächst mal ein Update der Matratzen (teilweise Federkern) überlegen. :)

Wunderschöne Villa, die sehr entlegen liegt mit schönem Pool, Außenbereich und Ausblick auf das Meer. Leider sind alle Schlafzimmer sehr hellhörig und teilweise miteinander verbunden, 3 der 4 Schlafzimmer sind Durchgangszimmer zum Treppenhaus. Der Besitzer war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen und wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Villa abseits des Trubels in den Bergen mit einem fantastischen Blick auf das Meer. In der großräumigen Villa, dem sehr großzügige Pool und dem großen sehr gut und mit viel Liebe gepflegten Aussengelände mit Olivenbäumen, Zypressen,, Bäumen, Kräutern und vielen verschiedenen Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten haben wir uns wie in einer Oase der Stille gefühlt. Ein Ort, dessen Mauer von vergangenen Zeiten erzählen und der noch heute Ruhe und Gelassenheit ausstrahlt. Der Host und seine Familie sind sehr liebenswürdigste Menschen, die ganz unbürokratisch alles für uns und einen unbeschwerten Urlaub getan haben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und echt zuhause gefühlt. Allein der tägliche Start mit einem Kaffee auf der Steintreppe und dem Blick auf’s Meer war Seelebaumeln pur! Danke für die grossartige Gastfreundschaft. Ein Ort, an den wir wieder zurückkehren werden.

Wunderschönes Steinhaus in traumhaftem Anwesen mit Traumpool

Wir konnten 2 wundervolle Wochen in diesem sehr gepflegten Anwesen verbringen. Der Pool ist in seiner Größe, der sehr angenehmen Wassertemperatur und mit Sprungbrett für alle Familienmitglieder ein Traum. Toll sind auch die zwei warmen Außenduschen und der überdachte Terrassenbereich mit Sitzsäcken. Für Jugendliche genau richtig und schön schattig. Nachts kann man den Poolbereich wundervoll beleuchten. Das Grundstück ist groß, gepflegt und sehr geschmackvoll mit wunderschönen Sitzmöglichkeiten angelegt. Auch das große Steinhaus ist in einem top Zustand und geschmackvoll eingerichtet - selbstverständlich auch stilgerecht mit alten Möbeln und einem Tischkicker. Dass nur ein Schlafzimmer eine Türe hat, konnten wir der Beschreibung bereits vorher entnehmen und hat uns kaum gestört. Besonders zu erwähnen ist, dass wir immer alle Fenster geöffnet lassen konnten und der Insektenschutz so gut war, dass wir von Tieren überhaupt nicht belästigt wurden. Nachts hört man Frösche und morgens den Hahn des Nachbarn. Auf der großen Terrasse vor dem Haus kann man selbst nachts noch lesen oder spielen, da das Beleuchtungskonzept sehr durchdacht ist. Auch der Weg der malerischen Einfahrt ist voll beleuchtet. Sehr gut ist auch die Ausstattung der Küche mit Backofen, Gasherd, Mikrowelle, Kapselautomat und Spülmaschine. Es war alles da, um toll zu kochen. Der Kontakt zu unserem Vermieter Lorenzo und seinen Eltern war sehr angenehm und der Pool- und Gartenservice super diskret und rücksichtsvoll.

Super toller Urlaub

Wir waren für 1 Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Lorenzo war sehr freundlich und erklärte uns alles genau. Bei Fragen konnten wir uns jederzeit bei ihm melden. Der Pool war ein Erlebnis für unsere Kinder, besonders das Sprungbrett. Auch wir Erwachsenen kam nicht zu kurz. Die Liegen neben dem Pool standen bereit und eine überdachte Sitzecke lud zum verweilen ein. Das einzige was nachteilig war, waren die vielen Mücken die nachts kamen. Wir würden definitiv wieder hier Urlaub machen.

Geweldig verblijf

Na een lange reis waren we aangekomen op de afgesproken plek, bij de Conad supermercato in Taggia. Daar zouden we de eigenaar ontmoeten, Lorenzo. Hij kwam aan samen met zijn ouders en na een kort voorstel rondje reden we achter ze aan op weg naar ons vakantie adres. Dat was geen overbodige luxe en dat had Lorenzo ons ook al vooraf verteld; de weg er naar toe staat niet op de kaart en daar kwam bij dat het huis boven op een berg staat met een avontuurlijk weggetje er naar toe. Lorenzo gidste ons er behendig naar toe en daar aangekomen keken we onze ogen uit. Lorenzo had niets teveel gezegd in zijn appjes. Het huis was prachtig en had een schitterend uitzicht over de bergen en de zee. Lorenzo en zijn ouders waren erg vriendelijk en duidelijk gewend om vaak gasten te ontvangen in hun huis wat ooit eigendom was geweest van zijn grootouders. Lorenzo ging ons voor door de vele sfeervolle kamers en badkamers om weer beneden uit te komen bij het schitterend aangelegde zwembad. De tuin was omringd met vele, oude olijfbomen, citrus en andere fruitbomen. Rondom het zwembad staan fijne ligbedden. Dat het huis verschillende verdiepingen heeft maakt het zeer sfeervol met op iedere hoek buiten weer een ander zitje of sfeervol terrasje. Zoals gezegd heeft Lorenzo ons fantastisch ontvangen en waren ook zijn ouders zeer behulpzaam. Villa mit Charme und schöner Aussicht

Die Villa und der Garten sind wunderschön. Alles ist sauber und gut gepflegt. Der Pool ist sehr groß und schön gelegen. Es gibt viele Sitzgelegenheiten rund um das Haus. Die Anfahrt zum Haus war für uns kein Problem. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Vielen Dank an Lorenzo und seine Eltern.

Interessante Unterkunft mit Charme

Im großen und ganzen war es ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Haus und Garten ist sehr gut ausgestattet und bietet alles was man benötigt. Aber die Sauberkeit könnte noch verbessert werden. Ebenso sollten die Dusche erneuert werden. Auch wären richtige Türen zu den Schlafzimmern wesentlich angenehmer. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub.
