A beautiful property in a stunning location. Great location to explore the San Gimignano-Siena area. Concetta and her husband are great hosts, very responsive and helpful. Overall we had amazing time at Sassi Bianche and hope to be back in the future!
We spent a wonderful week at Lilium. The property is nestled in the Tuscan countryside with incredible views. There are many wineries nearby, and the town of San Gimignano is just a short drive away.
Our villa, Lilium, was clean and comfortable, and Concetta and Paolo could not have been more gracious hosts. The pool is spectacular!
The property was beautifully situated in the hills of Tuscany. It was in a lovely area of Tuscany offering beautiful views all around! The house was nicely furnished, well equiped and very comfortable. From the villa we drove to San Gimignano, Siena, Colle Val d'Este, all very close by.
Our hostess, Concetta, was incredibly responsive and obviously cared about making sure our vacation was special.
This property is spectacular and the owners Paolo and Concetta are beyond fabulous making sure you enjoy your stay!! Every recommendation was a 10. We loved the beautiful country roads with breathtaking views around every corner!! San Gimignano is 15-20 minutes away. Make sure to go when it first opens to avoid the crowds and easy parking. Volterra is 5 miles away and not to be missed! We were so sad to leave after one week. Definitely coming back!!!!! Ciao Paolo and Concetta. Grazie mille, Carolina
The house is very spacious with a very large LR, DR and Master BR. The kitchen is dark but is well equipped, functional. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom. It is on a very large parcel of land. The outdoor patio is nice, with a view of rolling hills. Thereâs a coin operated washing machine on site. The pool was very nice too and one of the best locations to get strong Wi-Fi. The tennis court is in bad shape but we played several times nonetheless. Concetta & Paolo were very helpful/communicative.
The house is about a 15 min drive to San Gimignano & grocery shopping. I was expecting the town to be closer. There are nearby vineyards, but otherwise the area is very rural and nothing is within walking distance. You definitely need to have a car. Biking is not really an option unless youâre an expert. The terrain is very hilly and the roads are winding. We had a car and rented Vespas in town. From the house you can easily do excursions to Volterra, Siena and Florence. It is difficult to find the property if you arrive after dark. I suggest timing your arrival when itâs still light out.
Overall we all enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house - but you need cars to get around.
