Location! Location! You are in the middle of this quaint town, Manitou Springs. Bonus: a mile away from the Incline! The bed was very comfortable. I also appreciated the AC! A lot of places I researched had no AC. Tje kitchen was well stocked. I was greated with 4 cold water bottles in the fridge. It was a lovely weekend and I would recommend this apartment.
It was a comfy stay for our family and the location is absolute 10 out of 10 to enjoy and explore Manitou! There is a question we had the first night there and the manager was extremely prompt and even sent someone over to help! It is an older building, but that definitely adds to the ambiance of the stay.
We loved being able to walk to restaurants and shopping. The apartment was very clean. Everything works but it is a funky old building with uneven floors. We stubbed our toes a few times. The bed was very uncomfortable and squeaked whenever we moved. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch.
Great, responsive host. Couldnât have been better! We only had an issue with the parking area, which was extremely tight for the size of our pickup. We also didnât realize the parking area was not flat, but steep. But it was a great spot to enjoy the town, which was a fun place to shop and meet others.
Wonderful Gem in the Heart of Downtown Manitou Springs
We stayed for the weekend and had a great time! Property was very clean upon arrival. Check in was easy as well as the check out. Wonderful communication with the host. We didn't need anything during our stay but have no doubt Jeff would have been on top of it if we did! I loved the fact we could just walk out the door down the alley and be right in the mix of it all and have a private parking space as well. Window AC units were running like crazy in the August heat but kept the unit confortable. Property was just perfect for what we needed. Thanks for the stay and we'll see you next time we're in town!!
Lovely little space, walking distance to shopping, coffee, restaurants, parks etc. communication with host was good and quick and the property quiet and tucked away even though it was right in the middle of manitou springs.
This unit is in the middle of downtown Manitou Springs but nice and quiet since it is on the back of the building. The towels were nice and fluffy and the linens were nice. Kitchen is nicely stocked (no dishwasher but they provided dish soap). Bathroom has a skylight in the shower that my youngest loved looking out of.
The outdoor patio was lovely and we spent time there relaxing on several occasions. Walked to the cog railroad and Manitou Incline from the unit.
There are multiple small steps in the unit but you get used to them quickly. The back parking area is snug but easy to maneuver - don't bring your 15 passenger van though! It was phenomenal to have designated parking in Manitou!
Owner was wonderful and responded quickly to any questions. Restaurant in the building was great and the kids loved trying fondue!
Loved the private outdoor space. There were special wash cloths for removing make-up which I though was a stroke of genius - something I'm going to do at home as well.
We hosted a family dinner and had everything we needed but a potato peeler, which I 'donated' to the utensil's drawer,
Great spot central to all Manitou Springs has to offer
We had a great stay here. Everything is within walking distance other than Garden of the Gods. Jeff was prompt with his response to my questions and very accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Definitely a great location ! Right in the middle of everything in the little town of Manitou. Close drive to cog Railway, the incline, Garden of the Gods and lots of hiking.
Great central location for Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Canyon, Air Force Academy, Olympic Training Center, Olympic Museum. Fun to shop and eat in historic Manitou. Quiet location and everything as advertised. Communication with owner was timely and effective.
We stayed two nights and had a great time. Short walk out the door to everything on the main road in Manitou Springs. Having a designated parking spot on downtown Manitou makes all the difference. The apartment is small but clean and tidy. It was plenty of room for two adults and one child. We would definitely consider staying here again.
This unique property located near Historic downtown Manitou Springs. Shopping, great restaurants, and hiking right out the front door. Pikes Peak, the Cog-railroad, the Manitou Incline, Penny Arcade and many other family-friendly activities are within walking distance.. This apartment is in the middle of all that Manitou Springs has to offer! It feels like urban downtown and outdoor living all in one!. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
