I called before booking because I turned 21 the day after check in to see if I would be able to check in. The lady on the phone said yes then I get there and they tell me under 21 no exceptions so I asked can I change the check in until the next day and add a day to my stay they said no. So I asked for a refund and they say non refundable

Positives are the bed was comfortable and the apartment had plenty of space. It is close to a trolley line making it convenient to get around easily and there are plenty of nice restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Negative are the apartment had hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived, it needed updating as a few floor tiles were cracked, there were no teaspoons at all, only one cup of free coffee was supplied with the coffee machine and room mini bar very overpriced.

The pullout couch was broken. Couldn’t sleep well at all. I’m really disappointed. And it had roaches, big roaches everywhere and little roaches. I have pictures and videos. Is there anyway that I can get my refund back or something?

Roaches crawling in the apartment. I’ve lived and visited SW FLORIDA numerous times the past 30 years- I believe that the chaotic management and lack of consistent garbage disposal factors in. I paid good $$ to fear that another roach would drop from ceiling into the bed I slept in, crawl out from the coach I was sitting on or crawl across my monitor as I worked remotely. UNACCEPTABLE. In case you’re wondering, I video taped this! No housekeeping. Minimal communication from front desk. Not great.

Nice little hotel. Manny at the front desk was very nice and answered all our questions upon arrival. Great geographical location at a walking distance of the beach and about 10 minutes walk to restaurants.

I have been staying at this hotel for many years, but this year was the most deteriorated I have ever seen it. From the living room furniture to the cleanliness and the smell of the carpets, everything reflected a lack of maintenance. The first room assigned to me was full of mosquitoes and very dirty. The kitchen looked as if mud had been splashed all over the appliances and surfaces. The second room was in better condition, but the living room furniture was also quite worn out, and many of the kitchen utensils showed significant wear and tear. I believe the property would benefit from better cleaning, maintenance, and the replacement of some of its furniture and equipment.

This hotel simply has not been maintained. The kitchen did not have enough dishes, and they provided no soaps, sponges, paper towels or cleaning supplies to even wash the dishes. The tile floors were cracking all over the room, and some with open sharp cracks that we had to be careful of with bare feet. There appears to be subfloor damage in most of the apartment we stayed in. No ice machine was available. The tub didn't drain, they only brought us towels when requested and never fully cleaned the room. Some days the water barely trickled out of the faucets. The A/C did work, thank goodness. I really liked the configuration of 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms for our family. The staff was kind, but overworked, and it was not unusual to wait in line at the front desk behind lines of 10-15 people, to get keys re-magnetized, etc. Vastly understaffed at the reception desk. I appreciated being able to leave my bags in a closet while I waited for my flight. The staff were very kind, but the facility has lots of deferred maintenance. This is the most expensive "cheap" hotel I have ever stayed in.

I arrived early for my check in which I understood and I asked for the hotel to call me when the room was available, the front desk agent took my number but was rude about it. She never called, I had to call the hotel and the next agent told me my room had been ready so that was frustrating. The room itself was alright. It didn’t have mirror except for the bathroom, which was difficult to deal with. As well, the room was not supplied with clean bedding for the sofa bed and when I went to go get them, at first the concierge did not want to walk to the laundry room to get more. I was told it’s 11pm so it’s closed for the night…which didnt make sense if travelers are still coming to check in late, the hotel should always be able to service them. The hotel doesn’t have space to store luggage if needed while waiting to check in or waiting to leave so that’s inconvenient. Having to walk around with all the luggage was annoying. It’s a clean environment and safe to stay in, just could use more services for travelers.

Tradewinds provided us with an 2 bedroom apartment that matched the photos and description and the receptionist on arrival was helpful. We paid for a late check out as our flight was in the evening. The apartment decor was tired and the sealant around the bath was discoloured giving an impression of being unclean. With a good handyman the whole apartment could have been much more appealing and a good deep clean would have lifted the feel. Others have mentioned a smell of bleach and we had the same. However that quickly disappeared. The kitchen was fitted with a good cooker, fridge and microwave. All were clean and working. Surprisingly given what was advertise there was no room safe. This is definitely worth checking. The showers in both bathrooms worked well. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was effective but quite loud. The views from our room were awful. My bedroom overlooked the bins, whilst the living area had a view of the rear of a petrol station. Outside the living room was a well used walkway. As a result we kept all blinds closed all the time. The day before leaving we checked with the hotel that the late check out was arranged. We also had to have our keys changed as the door locks had been replaced whilst we were out. On our final day not only did the door key not work after 11am but we had 2 separate visits from housekeepers. So no relaxed morning for us! A tired hotel with poor communication between departments and full of younger guests.

• Defective room door upon arrival with a 2-inch gap, creating major security and privacy concerns. • Hotel phone numbers were either out of service or unanswered, making it extremely difficult to reach staff. • Reported the unsafe door immediately but was told twice over two days that the hotel was “fully booked” and nothing could be done. • Staff later admitted I should have been moved right away. • Key card frequently stopped working. • Moved to a second room where the bedroom air conditioning only blew warm air in Miami heat. Reported the issue but it was never fixed. • Woken up at 7:00 a.m. by loud construction and renovation noise including drilling, sawing, hammering, and banging. • Moved again, only to experience ongoing issues with hot water and air conditioning for the remainder of the stay. • Reported the hot water issue multiple times with no resolution. • Encountered a significant bug infestation in the bedroom, including bugs on the bed, floor, and inside lampshades. • Property appears poorly maintained and in significant disrepair. • Most staff were dismissive and unhelpful. The only exception was Ezekiel, who was professional, caring, and genuinely tried to help. • Photos and online listing did not accurately reflect the condition of the property. • Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Basic expectations such as security, functioning air conditioning, reliable hot water, cleanliness, and responsive staff were not met.

I had an apartment for myself, so more space than needed. Hotel conveniently located, in a safe environment. I know Miami and what to expect when it comes to rent an apartment belonging or not to a hotel group : lack of maintenance, old furniture, poor customer service and hygiene considered optional. I wanted to try it because the size of the apartment, pool, proximity with The Bass, Beach, trolley, etc. The main issues are impolite customers and lack of regulation from the manager. The pool should be supervised, some guests smoke, leaving butts where the lizards like to stay, others drink champaign, beers, wine, other come into the pool with drinks, some have snacks, others walk shoes on, nobody showers before entering the potheThe apartment itself definitely needs a complete renovation. Instead, employees are asked to perform superficial top coat pseudo painting. Cleaning is also extremely superficial, in accordance with the city. 2 days after my arrival, I realized the refrigerator didn't work. Immediately after reporting the issue, an employee came to switch this broken device. Within less than 10 minutes, the problem was fixed. Most important to me was the other man from the front desk who also came to help with the fridge, the same who proceeded with my check out and helped me with check in. It was not Ray but the other guy, very discreet. I don't know his name, but I want the manager to know how professional he had been, efficient, reliable and gentle.
