Appréciez la vue spectaculaire et les vues merveilleuses de cet agréable chalet près de Mount St. Louis Moonstone et Horseshoe Valley Resort. Il est également pratique pour les sentiers de motoneige et Hardwood Hills Ski and Bike Facility ainsi. Le chalet Cosy est à quelques minutes de Barrie, Orillia et Midland / Penetanguishene. Ce chalet peut accueillir 6 personnes et est équipé d'un réfrigérateur, cuisinière, four, micro-ondes, cafetière, grille-pain, chaîne stéréo, télévision par satellite avec lecteur DVD, literie, serviettes de bain, vaisselle et couverts.
Cette destination de vacances est idéale pour les petits groupes ou les familles individuelles.

Wonderful stay

We had a nice time at this cabin! The place was spacious and cozy. Waking up to the view of the lake was wonderful. It had everything we needed but the only thing we wished we knew was that the lake contained blue-green algae so we could not swim.

Cozy Cottage

The cottage is as you see it in the images. I love that it was so close to the lake and their were fun activities provided with it e.g., canoe, kayak, and paddle boat. The rooms were a good comfortable size. Lee was friendly and responded quickly to any questions I had.

Exceeded our expectations

We had an amazing long weekend at this cottage. We have been renting cottages for many years and there’s something about this one, it was just soo relaxing though it was close to the road but that didn’t bother us a single bit. It was nice that there’s a general store minutes away from the property. Next time, we know not to bring a whole lot, you can basically find everything in that store. We will definitely come back and make more memories in this cottage. Majoleah

Perfect for our mini vacation

We’re a family of six (children’s ages ranging from 13-23) that were looking for a cottage rental for 4 days, 3 nights as our older kids couldn’t get a whole week off work. We felt very lucky to find this cottage as the owners had availability for a partial week rental which is usually rare during the summer months. The cottage was the perfect size for the 6 of us and very comfortable. It was equipped with everything we needed and it was a bonus that linens and towels were provided. It was also nice to be able to walk to the General Store. Only drawback was that it is on a busy road but it didn’t bother us too much and it wouldn’t stop us from returning.

Nice place in a nice location, but needs a few repairs

The cottage sits between a major highway and the lake. This great for access, but be careful if you bring little ones. It is an older building in need of some repairs. Staying in winter made this more noticeable. I expect that it would be less of an issue in the summer when you can spend more time outside. Many of the doors do not close quite right and the kitchen table is rather unstable. It kitchen, was however, nice and big and very well stocked with all the items and cleaning supplies you might want. It had very nice new looking floors that cleaned really easily, which is always nice. Lots of storage space was available for those who dislike living out of a suit case. Landlords were very friendly. All in all was a good experience.

Moonstone

Great little spot if you plan on riding at Moonstone. Short drive and Nice to not have to stay in a condo at a resort. Would be great in the summer being right on the lake.

Great Winter Get Away

We enjoyed spending time with our adult children playing board games and hanging out. We were hoping to cross country ski but the weather didn't cooperate.

Amazing host!

My family and I stayed at the cottage for 5 days. The cabin was even better than we had expected! Nice, roomy and cozy! The host provided everything you could think of the help enjoy our stay and their was so many attractions close by. We had good laughs and made good memories. It was time well spent! We will be back again!

Disappointed

Thank you for the opportunity to provide input and I hope our concerns will be addressed. The cottage was not relaxing and it was not suitable for a young family with little children. 1. The floors for each room are at different heights and are tripping hazards. The floors are also slanted and uneven making it difficult for little ones to be steady on their feet. 2. The beds are all really uncomfortable and no one was able to get a good sleep. New mattresses are needed. 3. We were not aware that the cottage is highway-front and very close to the road. The front is not safe for children. It is very noisy making it hard to relax during the day and sleep at night. 4. Fortunately the cottage had air conditioning but the filter was very dirty and badly needed to be cleaned. 5. We appreciated that it had a bathtub and shower, but we were unaware we would be asked to limit the use of water. 6. The water front is very dirty and was not usable for young children to wade or play, although it was appreciated that life jackets and a canoe, trampoline and paddle boats were available.

Cute Cabin, Chilly in Winter

The location is great. We stayed in winter and it was great having the iced-over lake right out back. The cabin was very chilly in winter- bring slippers! - and the furnace/water pump were pretty noisy. But we were happy with our stay- the hosts were very nice and helpful!

Comfy cabin in the snow

We arrived after it had been snowing for two days -- not uncommon in the waning days of the year. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The furnace was able to cope with a couple of bitter nights, though the temperature was uneven and we were glad of sweaters in the livingroom. Bedrooms were toasty. The cottage is wedged on a shallow lot between the lake and the busy two-lane highway, which was ploughed far enough on the shoulders to allow comfortable jogging. Because of the cold snap we were able to use our snowshoes on the lake and nearby trails in the woods, and our cross-country skis at the Wye March 20 minutes drive away. The owners kept the driveway well ploughed.

My husband and I have enjoyed sharing our cozy and rustic cottages on Orr Lake. The view is fantastic and the surroundings are so very calm and peaceful. Having a morning coffee on the dock in the summer months is a fantastic way to start the day. We get to experience our little bit of paradise while others are not. We have two cottages which are side by side and therefore can accomodate small and larger groups. We ourselves enjoy to water ski, knee board, downhill ski and snowmobiling. We love to hear that others enjoy these sports as well, along with just relaxing with a book. Reading is also a passion of mine. While we have guests at our cottages, we like to give them the utmost privacy but try to be available when needed.
