Reality Escape is the perfect getaway cottage for a group of friends or small family looking for a relaxing and cozy home away from home in the mountains at Big Bear. Situated in a quiet Bear City neighborhood your party will be within a short ten-minute drive to local activities including ski resorts, marinas, and grocery stores. Boasting all that you need to enjoy an unforgettable retreat to the mountains including your own private hot tub under the stars- your group will love your stay here.
Upon entry you'll be greeted by big open windows and a native stone corner fireplace where you will be sure to snuggle up together as you warm your toes in front of a toasty fire. Enjoy a movie on the Streaming TV as you watch the snow falling or catch some birdwatching in this natural oasis. This adorable cottage offers a cute dining table and breakfast bar along with an equipped chef's kitchen complete with general appliances and the necessities for whipping up your home cooked meals right here at the cabin. Two spacious bedrooms and a convenient hallway bathroom are easily accessible within this single-story chalet cabin, each offers comfortable bedding made up for your arrival and ready for a blissful night of rest no matter the season you choose to visit.
From the kitchen you will find access to the back sun deck and fully fenced yard, you can grill up your freshly caught dinner from the lake and enjoy a safe place to take in this natural alpine escape. All homes include clean linens, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy. A kitchen with basic cookware and small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Paper towels, coffee filters/coffee, specialty appliances, nor condiments/spices/oils are supplied.
No Pay-Per-View Ordering in any homes.
No refunds/credits for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, (especially snow, fire, power outages) weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, or other equipment factors beyond our control.
This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.
We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
