Beautiful Whitefish Home! Close to Downtown and the Resort!

Bitterroot Escape is a beautiful 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom Whitefish home nestled in the woods below Big Mountain. Located minutes from the gorgeous greens at Iron Horse Golf Club and a quick drive from downtown Whitefish, Whitefish Lake, and Whitefish Mountain Resort, choose from endless entertainment options and family-friendly activities.

Traveling around the area is easy with parking for 4 vehicles and the S.N.O.W. Bus—a free shuttle service that takes visitors throughout Whitefish and up to Big Mountain during peak ski and Summer seasons.

Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy!

Comfy beds, comfy chairs in the living room, an incredibly well-stocked kitchen and a prime location close to Whitefish Mountain. We love this place!

Overall, this was by far one of the best condos we have stayed in. Everything we needed was provided, it was very clean, and customer response was excellent. My family (3 adult/teen kids) had a great time and loved this condo. Everything was excellent, comfortable beds, all the amenities you need for a great stay, even coffee and a grill. I would highly recommend this great location.

We really enjoyed the house. It was in a beautiful neighborhood in the mountains near the lake. It had everything in the kitchen that you could need. Everything was well stocked. We appreciate the stay and we’ll be back in future years. Thank you.

We absolutely loved this property and did not want to leave. There was so much room! The host provided so many nice touches that made this property feel like home - like coffee, ziploc bags, high-end personal care products (shampoo, soap, etc).

Wonderful Family Vacation!!

We loved everything about this property. It was perfect for us. Well kept, close to everything, and Wildlife right out of the windows. My parents, 75 years plus, were on the main level, we were in the large second bedroom, and each of my 3 kids had their own large bed. Would 100% stay here again.

Perfect for hitting the mountain and enjoying weekend in town

Family and friends needed a couple of days of snowboarding and Skiing - this was the perfect location and price for hitting the mountain during the day and then the town for dinners at night!

The property was in a wonderful wooded lot. We loved that we all had our own bathroom with the bedroom. The house was very clean. They had good wifi and mobile service. They also provided extra towels and the kitchen had a good variety of pots and pans to use.

Awesome stay at Whitefish

This was an amazing property with enough space to accommodate our group of 10. The property location was amazing with deer roaming in the street outside and natural beauty all around. Well furnished and equipped. Very easy to communicate as well. Would love to return again and will definitely recommend to others

Beautiful Property

Great place to stay- had everything we need. We had a great time! My only suggestions would be to make check out 11:00 instead of 10:00 as 10 am on the last day of your vacation is a rush. The other thing is in the description it said "close to downtown" which made us think it would be walking distance which it clearly was not.

Very comfortable home in a good location. All the amenities we needed.

The house is a bit dark inside. Lighting could be improved. It would be nice to have screened windows and doors for cross ventilation. We enjoyed the outside deck.

Spacious, well located

Comfortable spacious 3BR unit. V close drive to ski hill, downtown Whitefish and lakeshore activities. Really liked: the usable garage, 1-button fireplace, all BRs are en suite, nice grill, kitchen and whole place v well appointed. Only complaint was rigid 4pm check-in time, which was only 45 minutes before nightfall for us. Heroic service - the sink disposal failed on Xmas day and they had a new one installed the next day.

spacious and beautiful Whitefish house.

This house was very large, comfortable and well equipped! There was a large bathroom in every bedroom as well as a powder room on the main level. There were also 2 balconies with access from each bedroom and the kitchen. My daughter and her husband stayed in the main level bedroom and really appreciated the A/C unit in the room. The bottom level bedrooms were cool at the lower level. The kitchen had all the amenities you would expect such as dishes, glasses, cookware, and appliances, plus a good selection of spices and basic cooking provisions. The seating was super comfortable as were the beds. The TV was a little hard to get going, we discovered it worked best when the cupboards holding the electronics were opened. The house was close to downtown and city beach, so it was a great place to stay in Whitefish. It is in a lovely wooded area that the decks overlook. We really enjoyed our stay here!

This house was exactly as described in the listing. It was in a very secluded area, quite and charming with an abundance of deer. The house was clean and had everything needed to prepare meals, shower, laundry, etc., very comfortable and inviting!!

Great location with responsive host

The location is close to town, golf and the ski resort. We got locked out on the balcony (the door opened from inside without turning the unlock button, but once you close the door it’s locked.) The host was very responsive and came to rescue us, thank you! All needed amenities were there, and the home was clean.

The house is beautiful, roomy, and very relaxing. Everything thing seems to be thought of for anyone to have a super nice time in Northwest Montana.
