Book a Winter Stay! Big Mountain Ski-in/out Townhouse! Private Hot Tub!

Located on Big Mountain in Whitefish Mountain Resort, Whitefish Ski Haus is a ski-in/ski-out townhome with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms that sleeps up to 9 guests. Enjoy some of the best ski trails in the United States—with the Home Again run a short walk away—as well as local bars, dining, shopping, and events at nearby Whitefish. Guests will love spending chilly evenings in the private hot tub or staying cozy in front of the gas fireplace.

With a private hot tub and a premium location on Big Mountain, plan for a cheerful and adventurous Winter getaway at Whitefish Ski Haus. For ski access, use the ski trail at the South end of the block to access the Home Again trail. Parking for 1 car in the garage and space for 1 additional vehicle in front of the building makes it easy to visit historic downtown Whitefish— only 15 minutes away—or make the 1-hour drive to Glacier National Park! Getting around Whitefish is free and easy via the S.N.O.W. Bus—a free shuttle service that takes visitors throughout Whitefish and up to Big Mountain during peak ski and Summer seasons.

Glacier Park International Airport is approximately 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana!

**Included in the booking, is a 125 USD spa fee.** Per the Flathead County health code regulation ( code: 37.115.1912) the spa is drained, sanitized, and refilled for each guest. The hot tub fee includes balancing and chemical checks for all guests staying more than seven (7) days.

* Ski-in /Ski-Out generally during Peak winter season - late Dec- mid-Feb – weather permitting. The definition means that you are around a 5-minute walk to the nearest run or lift and do not need to drive.

Very nice property. Great location for ski in and out. Also easy walk to restaurants. One of few rentals with private hot tub.

House was cozy and had everything we needed. The wifi kept going out so the football games kept cutting off the tv, so we watched TV on our phones. Communication prior to stay wasn't the best as we had emailed requesting information on early-checkin so we could have food delivered. They emailed and said we had to request early checkin within 24 hours, so I did that 2x and no response either time. The only other thing was that I was expecting a ski in / ski out per the listing. It is a bit of a walk and not the easiest with all our gear so I wish that was clarified more. Overall, we loved the house and had a great time!

Perfect

This was perfect for our family! It is truly ski in/ski out. It is very close to base lodge as well as ed and mullys. Everything was very clean and they provided boxes of cleaning items as well as soap/shampoo etc. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at home. We will definitely be back!

Family vacation

The property was exactly as we were expecting. Walkable to the “Home Again” run, which all of our kids (5,9,10) loved. The house was clean and comfortable. The property manager was very responsive and helpful! We would definitely stay here again.

Great house! I loved all the features everything from racks for your skis and boot a drying rack to the hot tub! Three stories worked out great for our large group of 9. Great kitchen and living space as well!

The home was gorgeous, however it is not ski in/ski out. We had to drive everyone to the lifts each day.

Quite mountain retreat

Stayed here in the summer. Only noise due to people coming in for music festival. Much cooler on the mountain. Enjoyed a hike, hot tub. Place is roomy w everything you need to make meals at home. Maybe get a pizza cutter… water pressure great and place was clean

Wonderful mountain escape

Very pretty, clean, home with perfect space 8 people. We had good privacy for sleeping and wonderful space for family time and game night. The hot tub was a huge plus after hiking in Glacier, and the ski village was a cool area and a quiet place in summer. Cooking meals was a breeze. We knew that would ge a bit of a drive into Glacier, but it was an easy drive. Close to Whitefish, comfortable, and a great value!

Almost perfect but...

2 things kept this from 5 stars. One, the bedroom next to the master has a queen and the mattress is worn out. 2 of us couldn’t sleep on it because it was sunken in the middle. I notified the property manager but nothing happened. It’s needs replacing urgently. The other issue is the property isn’t really ski in and ski out. This is somewhat a Whitefish thing. There is a 5 minute walk to the trail to the slow base lift and it’s a painful walk back after a day of skiing. Having said all that, the condo is a great space for a big group especially with kids. All in all, it was a good time.

Thank you for the four-star review and we are glad that you enjoyed the property! We appreciate your feedback regarding the mattresses and we just had the mattresses replaced. To future guests, the definition of a ski in ski out is when you don't have to get in your car and drive to the lifts. It's a short 3 to 5 min walk to a ski run from this property.

Summer time Whitefish Mountain Getaway

This property is in a great location. It is within walking distance to the lodge and Gondala. It had plenty of room for our family and kids. Tooks us a day to figure out we has AC but it was a game changer. it was pretty hot outside and this property stye cool. Parking can be a bit challenging if you have a large vehicle and have several families staying at the property. House had everything you might need for cooking but a tiny barbacue. You will get in good shape climbing all the stairs!!!!

Weekend gymnastics & ski trip

The condo was very nice and had everything we needed for 5 adults and 3 teenage girls. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were nice and we had lots of fluffy towels. Proximity to the Home Again cat track & the resort shuttle was awesome too. The hot tub was excellent. The staff were responsive and friendly. We highly recommend this condo!

Good for the price - but a few major shortfalls for us

Temperature control is challenging in this 3 story unit. Heat rises so kids sleeping on the bottom level are cold (yes we used the space heater) and parents on the top level (and menopausal moms) are roasting. Makes it hard to be comfortable to sleep. Speaking of sleeping, please get some new pillows. All are very flat, please get a couple of nicer full pillows for side sleepers, it makes a difference! If you are there on a really cold week expect drafting from the windows and doors, many don't seem to be sealed well. We lost heat and hot water for over 24 hours and neither was able to be resolved before we left. We did enjoy the hot tub and cooked many meals and the kitchen is well equipped. We appreciated the holiday decorations as we were there during Christmas.
