House is stunning and amazing location. A guest information book with instructions for hot tub and other amenities would helpful. More glasses especially bar ware is needed. Overall great experience- great response from hosts and highly recommend.

The house was in a perfect location and the layout was outstanding. We had lots of room to spread out. The children loved the basement playroom. The pool was a wonderful activity when we were not enjoying the surf. All eight adults appreciated this beautiful rental. We were surprised that there were no drinking glasses or stemware. We managed to use the plastic cups, but for this level rental I would expect glassware. There was enough flatware to serve dozens. The house was clean but, significant stains were found on a few items. A shade was broken in one room and several of the toilets needed repair.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about Pearl in the Sand. We’re glad the location, layout, basement playroom and pool worked well for your group. We apologize for the lack of glassware — we provide a starter pack and communicate this in our pre-arrival materials; however, we understand the expectation for glass and stemware at this level and will work on improving that communication so future guests are prepared. We’re sorry you found stains on a few items and that a shade and several toilets needed attention. We’ve shared this with our housekeeping and maintenance teams for follow-up. We appreciate the feedback and will use it when assessing for updates.

Check-in was easy, however, the afternoon prior to arrival is too late to receive the list of items that need to be brought with you!! Kitchen was stocked with plates and utensils, but lacking in bar glasses for our large group. The nice Thermador range was sparking flames on several burners. Water was too low in the infinity pool, but it got fixed the day before we left. Beautiful home, with sufficient parking spots and a great location to the beach and area restaurants. The kids in our group enjoyed the game room. Bryant was responsive to our calls with questions or concerns.

Lovely. But plumbing issues

It’s a gorgeous property. But. I had to call maintenance for an issues reported in another review. Owner fix your ac and your toilets. But you don’t want to hear that. Well stocked but unorganized. Great beds! Fantastic outdoor space. Very good location. I’d have given it an 5 star but three plumbing issues in a house that costly to rent is kind of unacceptable. Ok on supplies but I wouldn’t count on everything you need. Just very basic and stuff leftover from other renters.

Thank you for your thorough review of our property. We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear that you enjoyed the gorgeous outdoor space and comfortable beds. However, we regret that you experienced some maintenance issues during your stay. We did receive a report from you regarding the hot water in the upstairs shower - this was promptly resolved within 5 hours of your call, and we did not see any other issues that were mentioned regarding other plumbing issues or the air conditioning. While we hate that you ran into issues, we are glad our team was able to promptly address and resolve them, and we hope you will consider staying with us again in the future.

Great place, perfect location

There were only 4 guests in our party. the purpose of our trip was our interior design company's board strategic meeting. The house was perfect - we were able to work a multiple locations - all beautiful. We had sessions on different decks, and the screened in porch, as well as indoors. We had a yoga instructor come to start our days with a guided yoga class each morning, enjoying the views, the breeze, and the sounds. We were very productive, and never felt cramped. A couple of comments: We wished that: - hangers were included in the closets - hair dryers were available in the bathrooms Otherwise it was perfect. Thank you.

Great Place With One Issue

Overall this place is fantastic. The listing is as advertised and extremely clean with great views and plenty of space. There was only one issue with our stay, the shower in the master suite flooded upon normal use. Due to water leaking from the third floor shower to the second floor, we had to urgently call the property management company who sent maintenance quickly. This was disruptive to our family during an important event and the maintenance said this was not a new issue and that it was previously flagged, but not fixed. The property management company did a great job ensuring this was taken care of quickly but it was still disruptive. It was disheartening to hear this was an issue raised previously but not fixed before paying an exorbitant amount of money for the rental. I’d be willing to stay at this place again if the issue is fixed because everything else was great; however, if you’re paying this much, you might be safer at a place open to addressing preexisting issues.
