This newly built luxury cabin sits on 10 acres of natural beauty. Take a dip from the private waterfront & enjoy the spectacular views of Kootenay Lake & the Purcell Mountains while BBQ'ing on the front deck or chilling at the firepit. You will be amazed by the night stars and cricket ambiance. Immersed in nature, deer, wild turkeys, bald eagles, and osprey have been sighted from the front deck. You get to enjoy the privacy without giving up amenities with Creston nearby (just 30 min drive south) and the Ferry (just 35 min drive north). This property is conveniently located for nearby Kootenay adventures!
Kootenay lake is just across the highway and not several kms away as shown on listing). Paddleboards for rent $50 per stay.
Twin Bay's sandy beach (public) is just a 5 minute drive and other beaches close by such as Lockhart Provincial Park and quaint fishing spots- just purchase a license and cast a lone. Fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, & hiking are all popular Kootenay activities! Kooskanook Harbor is an approximate10 minute drive (south).
Take in many other attractions within 30 minutes of the cabin such as the Glass House just down the road, Wynnwood Cellars Estate Winery (touring/ tasting), dining/ shopping/ sightseeing in Creston (Museum, Kokanee Brewery, Visitor Centre, Fruit Stands, etc.) or test your swing at the Creston Golf Course.
For a quick/ convenient stop, Destiny Bay Liquor/ Grocers is only 10 minutes from the cabin. Drive another 25 minutes North to experience unique shops at Crawford Bay (the Woven Broom & others), Kokanee Springs Golf Resort or catch the free Ferry for a day trip to Nelson, Ainsworth Hot Springs, Kaslo or other quaint communities.
Spend a day adventuring or floating on the water and return to the comfort and privacy of the Kootenay Cabin. Wifi and Netflix included as well as everything you need for food prep/ dining. Beach and bath towels provided as well as sheets/ pillows, and everything else for a comfortable stay. Kitchen island sits 6 as well as the outside dining area and firepit loungers. Make yourself at home!

Beautiful view. Perfect cabin for a relaxing weekend away. Very clean and welcoming. Host was very accommodating and available for any questions we had. Beach access is a good trek down to the lake but nice to have private access. Will definitely be coming back!

Enjoyable stay
Nice place to stay. Modern and well appointed. Amazing lake view and our favourite was the private lake shore. Central to some nice beach parks, Creston fruit markets and the ferry across the lake. Great communication and responsiveness from the hosts.

Perfect Family Holiday!
Spent the week with our teenage/adult children. Very comfortable, beautiful views, great location. Had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

I live in Edmonton and have always loved traveling to BC. I fell in love with the beauty of the East Kootenays and the laid back lifestyle and was lucky enough to snag this property when I saw it listed (July of 2020). The cabin was completely rebuilt and I loved designing it to create a modern, comfortable, and open feeling, showcasing the beautiful lake & mountains as the focal point. The private waterfront is what sold me. It's breathtaking and serene and from the guest feedback that I have received, they feel the same way. I love that others can enjoy and appreciate this space too and I am looking forward to further developing the path down to the water and a little shelter down there. I appreciate that guests are using their holiday time and spending their money and my goal is to make your stay an amazing and memorable experience. Feel free to message me with any inquiries.
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
I love the location of the cabin in that it is about half way between Creston (30 mins to the south) and the Ferry (35 mins to the north). There is much to do in Creston from dining, shopping, touring (museum, breweries), golfing, fruit stands, coffee shops, and just taking in the small town vibe. Between Creston and the cabin is fishing (Duck Lake), Wynnwood Winery (touring/ tasting), Mountain Barn specialty doughnuts & coffee, and an ice cream shop, popular Twin Bays sandy beach, and Kooskenook boat harbour.
From the cabin to the north is the Glass House tourist spot, Destiny Bay Grocers/ Liquor, Lockhart Provincial Park, fishing at Blue Bay, Crawford Bay (Woven Broom, locally made jewelry, and other small shops), Kokanee Springs Golf Resort and the last stop is the Ferry (free ride across to many other quaint towns). Day trips are popular to Nelson, Kaslo, Ainsworth (Hot Springs), Salmo, Nakusp. Never a shortage of adventures.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
The thing I appreciate most about my property is its proximity to so many attractions/ fun activities but then being able to return to a comfortable, peaceful, and private location. I love that there is space to spread out inside and out and enjoy star gazing at the firepit, chilling on the front deck, and being immersed in nature. I love the view of the lake and mountains and that a dip is just a few minutes on foot. The layout of the cabin is open and airy and the large windows maximize the views.
If you are looking for privacy, space, comfort, nature and amenities nearby, I think you will enjoy staying here.
