Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located place. Unit is centrally located on a main street (cross intersection is 41st ave and rupert st). Public bus transportation is steps away from front of house. If you are driving, you are 20 minutes to downtown vancouver; 10 minutes to metrotown mall in burnaby; 20 minutes to Richmond. Cozy 2 br laneway home that is quite and private. đIf youâre visiting Vancouver for the World Cup, our place is the perfect choice! Weâre just 5 minutes walking from the training field, where you can watch the players practiceâwithout the hassle of finding parking or paying high fees.
The place was quite spacious and having two bathrooms was very nice. Everything we needed was there, and the host was very responsive. Parking was easy but not super close by. Bedrooms were a bit warm especially at night but the fans helped. Overall a great place to stay, would recommend!
The home is small but adequately equipped. On the plus side, there are 2 washrooms. On the negative side, no washer and dryer. we had a pleasant week staying there.
Great location! The owner communicates well. We had a great six nights. Hubby said the mattress was comfy. I can sleep almost on anything. It says a lot because hubs doesnât normally sleep well.
As promised, a small and compact two bedroom with a kitchen, good location convenient to transit especially but with plenty of street parking available as well! Great for staying in Vancouver for a few days!
The place was right near a bus route, and had everything that was advertised. Very easy check in/check out. Almost no communication necessary since everything was set up perfectly. 10/10
The property was just as described in the VRBO listing. Having a full kitchen was very nice, and the location has excellent transit connections within Vancouver. I had no problems connecting to the WiFi. There's a motion-sensor light over the outside door, but I still found it very useful to have a headlamp when arriving after dark.
Accommodations were clean and inviting. Off site parking was somewhat problematic, especially when trying to unload and reload suitcases, other belongings etc. in to the car in the rain. Suitcase racks would really have been nice as there was very limited space in the bedrooms and having to live out of your suitcase on the floor wasnât ideal. In one of the bedrooms there was a very small rack for hanging clothes, but you would have to be neatly 6 feet tall to reach it. There was a âsittingâ or âliving roomâ of sorts which was very stark and drab. While there were tvâs in each bedroom (much appreciated) there was none in the âsittingâ/âliving roomâ which left you to just stare at a blank wall. My son and I just decided to watch a movie piled into one of the beds together. The kitchen was fairly well equipped, however, there was no dishwasher (not a problem), but I never found any dish cloths or dish towels. Very nice to have 2 full bathrooms. Will say for fuller figured individuals, the downstairs shower is rather small. Directions on what to do with trash vs recycling would have been helpful. Would rate the overall stay about a 3.75. Iâm from the Midwest, so not familiar with laneway homes.
Good accommodations for sleepâŠvery comfortable bedsâŠand getting ready to hit the town. Not for hanging at the house. Use the alleyway for best access. Parking was a short walk so drop the luggage then go park.
We were 2 couples staying for 2 nights before a cruise. On the plus side, everything was very clean. The kitchen seemed to be well supplied, although we didn't really use it. It was easy to get to and was central to the airport and downtown. On the down side. The bedrooms were very small with no place for luggage. We put our luggage in the downstairs sitting room. Our friends put their's in the bathroom, which had extra space. The entry way was also very cramped and we arrived in the rain with 4 of us trying to get in. The no shoes in the house rule was annoying. The lack of a parking space was also annoying. Over all, it worked okay. And it was cheaper than a hotel.
