Pounamu Paradise, Pegasus Bay

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Close to the beach and lake, you can come and spend a day at the beach, go bike riding or simply just chill and watch Netflix. You might want to gym it in the garage or do Pilates. What ever you feel like doing this peaceful haven will recharge your batteries in no time. If you need an airport pick up or hire car please let me know. 1.2km to the beach, 8km drive to Rangiora, 10km to Kaiapoi and 25km to central city Christchurch.

The space
This is a very quaint house in a quiet street. It gets beautiful sun all year round, the comes through in the winter and goes over the house in summer. It has a full house water filter, heat pump with air con and heating and a coffee machine, Netflix, prime and sky. There is a seated BBQ area in the middle of the street as well as a BBQ on the deck inside the house. It’s a lovely place to get away and recharge. A two minute walk to the local pub and pizza shop (and alcohol store) as well as just a stones throw to the beach entrance. There is the potential to sleep 8. A master room with on suite and walk in closet, then a smaller room with a queen bed down the hall way with a toilet and 2nd bathroom next to it, then a children's room with a king single trundler bed that has a single bed that can pull out. The couch in the lounge can fold out to a double easily and you can keep the sheets on it through the day while you fold it back up. There is potential to house a person in the garage also as it is carpeted and full curtain though it is hot in summer in there. You can park out the back of the house upon arrival and enter via the back, with two parks right outside the house also.

Guest access
Smart lock at the back entrance with a private code. You will need to internally lock the doors and exit this way each time you leave the house so that locking is keyless. If you need to go round the front to get in the car, you will need to do so via the pathway down the side of the house after locking. If you book a long stay a key can be arranged.

Other things to note
I built and lived in the house for 9 years prior to Air b and b ing it. I love this house, there are some beautiful memories in this house of fun beach holidays, biking round in my togs, bbqs on the deck and Christmas dinners made in the kitchen. I have had 12 people stay for up to a week and hosted 20 on Christmas Day. It’s a lovley place to rest and relax and the vibe in the house is just beautiful. My favourite things is to watch netflix and do a gym session in the evening and then some pizza for dinner from lake pizza (voted best in canterbury and it wont let you down) sometimes I go for a walk around the lake in the evening with the dog
