Guest left the place a mess . The reason I have control over AC is because some keep the windows open and because remotes are 200$ each and they go missing or broken . We also have nest thermostats at propterty that control only the boiler heat and guests have a hard time understanding.. I ask guests what they want and usally forget it . How many camps have AC is a better question on the lake? To get 2 stars for a burnt-out light is comical. Also, the water didn’t run out I had to replace house water filter because pressure was getting low and did this with in 2-4 hours of finding out…. House is the nicest rental on lake for the the money ….

First, I did not say to leave during the stay. but suggested that if he had major issues that he could have vacated. If he was so worried about his safety and kids' safety he would have left and would have gladly given those days in a rebate, but because the weather was beautiful, we will stick it out and complain after !!! Had a few rotten holes in the deck that that got worse and fixed them immediately. Second the smoke detectors he took off and brought out and we had given batteries to the guest because he insisted, we don't enter the property. We have NEST system as well as the normal smoke detectors. Point is there is a backup system that was working We ended up giving another newer grill that day and it wasn't rusted just needed a good cleaning to get the excess grease off. The step into the lake he speaks of is the neighbor's property ! Not part on this. Tenant said he was going to blackmail me personally after the fact of leaving. It was all a problem when he left and enjoyed the place and beautiful week. I even gave him free of charge a paddle boat for the kids to use .

AC is a luxury and people dont have a clue how to use it . The remotes are 200$ each and end up going missing so i have to do this remotely to avoid costly bills. Dock was broken and had but its out now and there were 3 spots that had rot on the deck and now fixed

As I explained to them the house has poison traps around the perimeter of the building and as the maid cleaned the house, she prob had the slider opened. The bugs are the mayflies in NY so if there is a way to stop these from NY, during spring please tell me and it was about 10-15 near the same slider. On water we do get a mouse here and there, but we do everything we can and was able to remove it in 10 min. Take a look at reviews and cleanliness on this property besides hers .

Code entrance procedure was changed online and immediately got the tenants in. Slider lock was broken from someone slamming the door making the lock hinge mechanism unusable. We fixed this in less then 12 hours of her call. Codes are given out differently every stay. TV is cable but there is WiFi . The ice maker and water I told her doesn’t work because of insurance reasons and we have to unhook on a second floor with a finished basement. We had an insurance claim with a child lodging a toy in the ice maker flooding the lower floor. Maid runs the dishwasher and doesn’t have time sometimes to put all the items away because we try to get people in early. She must have missed the freezer with an ice cream but the house is always extremely clean. I would not recommend renting to them and although nice people they have no understanding of simple issues that may come up in every house .
