Propriété située sur le côté est du lac. Deruyter Lake est situé dans le centre de New York. La maison est sur un terrain privé avec accès direct au bord de l'eau. Le quai mesure environ 4 pieds de profondeur et peut facilement accueillir des bateaux jusqu'à 24 pieds. La maison du lac est d'environ 2400 pieds carrés, a 2. 5 salles de bain, 3 grandes chambres pouvant accueillir 10-12 personnes max. La maison a de nouvelles mises à jour avec wifi, câble et buanderie sur place. Parking privé hors rue avec garage si nécessaire.

Deruyter lake house

We have been visiting the area for the last 3 years as our son is at nearby Colgate. We have rented many homes for weekend visits. This was by far the nicest experience we have had,Just a beautiful large comfy home. Immaculately clean and well stocked. Ping pong in the basement kept the kids occupied during a rainy weekend. The large streaming TV was great for Netflix movies.Comfortable beds and large dining area. Oven was great for chocolate chip cookies.Oh, and the view of the lake is gorgeous.Property manager was great. Responded to every question promptlyWe will absolutely be back.5 stars !!!!

Beautiful lake vacation

This home on Lake DeRuyter was perfect for our extended family vacation. The house was equipped with all our needs. The owner was responsive with questions. The dock was perfect for fishing and swimming was great as weeds were well controlled. The property is dog friendly as well, which made this vacation even better. Will definitely stay again!

Easy to find, pretty accommodating

The owner was responsive to questions and I privately messaged him our concerns about the property's lack of cleanliness and some broken items that I hope he will address before the next person stays. He says he uses a maid service so obviously those issues start with them. The listing is slightly misleading as it says it sleeps 10, but there are 2 bedrooms that have 1 king bed in each and a 3rd bedroom that has 2 twin over full beds. We were fine cosleeping with our littles but if you want your own sleep space, consider bringing an air mattress. Otherwise, the furniture was comfortable, the place was kid friendly, and the house was easy to find from the road. It was centrally located to all of the places we were visiting so that was very convenient.

Great low key lake house

We had 2 families, 5 kids and 4 adults altogether, and had a lovely time. The house is tidy has a nice view of the lake from the east side. The kitchen has almost everything you need. The bedrooms are perfect for 2 families with kids.

Water was clean and clear. Dock and fire pit can be seen from the kitchen. Owner was nearby and quick to respond to questions. A pleasant week there.

Beautiful lake and spacious house!

The house was spacious and accommodated my family of 6 well. It was very clean and we really enjoyed the dock by the lake. The owner was very kind and we will definitely stay here again!

Incredible Value

The owner of this property couldn’t have been more accommodating! Due to flight challenges we arrived at the property @ 11pm. The owner stayed in communication w/us during our long drive from the airport, went out to the property to turn on lights even took a picture of the front steps & sent it to us. He gave us detailed instructions to find the house in the dark The roads in that area don’t have lights & we wouldn’t have been able to find the house easily had he not. The house itself is an incredible bargain for the $, the lake view beautiful, the neighborhood peaceful. The mattress on the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Our visit was for my daughter’s graduation. She had challenges packing & we ended up needing a late check out. Again the owner couldn’t have been more accommodating. On a scale of 1 to 5, I give the property a 10.

Great Lake House

Beautiful views and very comfortable house. Nice kitchen, great room and comfy beds. No complaints. I enjoyed walking around the houses and lake in the morning. Great fall location. We escaped SU family weekend and stayed here. Would do it again. Note that the fireplace is not usable.

Nice house, beautiful lake location

This was our third year spending a week at this house; it is a nice house on a beautiful lake. We liked the fire pit, the deck and dock furniture, laundry, and master suite. This year we were very glad that Marc did some much needed upgrades and repairs. The lake is great for kayaking and there are fun sites and activities to do nearby.

The stay was okay not worth the cost to rent

This house is just ok. Check in was easy the house was clean but needed quite a bit of tlc. It was obvious that this house was remodeled years ago and has since just been rented out and minimal upkeep. Our first night we had no ac because there were no remotes for the ac the owner controlled them from his phone. We messaged him and he did come over the next afternoon to give us a remote so we could have ac. Also the first night we had no power downstairs called the owner and I had to reset the breakers for it. Also upon arrival we noticed that the dock was not in the water and we brought a boat from an hour and a half away to use it and couldn't. The owner did put the dock in on our 6th day so we could use the dock for 1 and a half days. The big deck down on the water has many rotten boards that makes it dangerous for dogs and family members. On the last day we woke up to no wifi in the house which is unacceptable because the signal in the area is terrible. Overall the owner is very nice and tries to do his best and is very responsive but in the end this was our worst vrbo yet.

This should be a 4 star rental if

I emailed owner prior to renting to ensure that his dock would accommodate our 20 ft boat. When we got there, the dock was in the weeds and broken. Owner should have known his dock was unusable. He was kind enough to let us use his fathers dock 5 camps down. Also, owner rented to people with a liter of puppies. Entrance and rug leading up to master smelled of animal urine. 4 stars if owner can fix his dock and clean home better.

The reason for our trip was to visit family members and go to my Aunt's 80th birthday party. The property was absolutely beautiful. We checked in late about 930 or 10 and it was cold in the house but I sent Marc a text message and he fixed it within minutes. Any questions or concerns I had Marc was on it. It did not matter what time it was. We plan on renting again in August 2023. I would recommend this booking to anyone.

Nice big house for family

Large 3 level very nice house. Many levels with stairs inside and out. Everything needed in kitchen. Landlord quickly solved heat problem in beginning. Boiler had gone out due to power outage. Sledded on hill next to house, ice skated on lake, kids learned about ice fishing. Ping pong table was a bonus. Nice family space. Very clean.

The physical accommodations and location on the lake were very good. Over 7 days I made 8 requests for more heat. Although the owner usually responded promptly and the heat increased, the result was short lived. Mid-week at 9AM I reported that the temp. was 61 degrees throughout. On Fri., 7:30 AM I reported 56 degrees downstairs ( 2 bedrooms, bath and game room ) 61 degrees main floor ( kitchen, dining, living and 1/2 bath ) an 63 upstairs ( bedroom and bath ). The heat is controlled remotely by the landlord, although he responded in the short term, he never seemed to get the message.

This property on the lake has probably the best swimming and fishing. One of the nicest rentals on DeRuyter Lake

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Property offers a unique waterfront quality for the lake compared to other areas on lake. Swimming is considered the best on lake with stone bottom and very little weed growth. Fishing off dock is fantastic and deep enough for any larger boat.
All the benefits of home!!!
