This is a wonderful location set in a peaceful neighborhood, offering easy access to public transportation and local amenities, making it an ideal choice. Brighton

A great place to stay. Everything was easy. Host responded quickly to resolve a problem. Very comfy. Space for kids, Space for Mum and Dad. Would definitely stay again if visiting Adelaide!!

Clean and well presented, lovely gas fire, comfy beds, great location, quite close to beach. Lounge could be replaced with something more comfortable (with back support) or L shaped to accommodate four or more people.

Lots of repairs needed with the property including the side gate that we had to open with a screw driver, my husband had to repair the kitchen chairs before the family arrived. Hot water system needs looking at. All bins were full on arrival & had to request them to be emptied. Outside area not good at all with lots of cobwebs, garden area really non existent except for weeds. Cleaning needs a full overall with the windows VERY dirty, kitchen chairs dirty, sink sticky and old Hungry Jacks meal found in the pantry & the BBQ was filthy. The furniture in the living area really needs looking at as the lounge in the TV area couldn't be sat on, it was terrible and the kitchen chairs were basically unsafe. Very disappointing as it was a very important weekend for our family it was basically spoilt about all the things that were wrong with the house.

Great little home

A modest but surprisingly roomy home in a quiet location. Short drive to the beach. Clean overall, although under the beds could do with a once over.We enjoyed the two outdoor areas.Some odd things were missing from the kitchen. - no cloths to wipe counters, no dishwasher tablets, no tools for hand washing of dishes like a sponge or scrubbing brush.Great place to stay with kids since you can close the door to the area of the house where the second and third bedrooms are while you're watching TV at night.

Perfect for us

This property was perfect for us. We had elderly parents, four adults and a 1 year old. We had to watch the baby near gas heater but that was the only real problem. There is good access through the car port for people who can walk but struggle with steps. Beds were comfortable and it was in a good location. Thanks. SA

We stayed here for 20 days while helping to host our daughter’s wedding in Adelaide. There were 7 of us, my husband and I and the bridesmaids. Upon arriving it was obvious it had not been cleaned well. We were very disappointed as prior to arriving we had read a previous guest complain of the same and had contacted the host before we flew overseas. He made it seem like it was the previous guests fault. But what we saw was the same issues. Garbage cans overflowing outside, no lawn care, sunrooms had previous guests trash, kids old toys in the cupboards, dirty cutlery and dishes in the cupboards, actual pieces of food in the drawers, stained dirty carpet in the main bedroom, globs of sauce on the couch and stained bedsheets. Under the beds was very filthy. We got in touch right away with the host, he said he had multiple houses to oversee and sent a lady with her child over to reclean days later. By then we had cleaned ourselves because the bridesmaids were due to arrive. He did replace the unworking vacuum but I felt he was not on top of his cleaning staff and instead excused it. It was a stress we did not need. While the house layout was great, the unprofessional cleaning was a real downer and upsetting to our vacation. I would not return to this vrbo. We have used many many vrbos and have never experienced this. Do not stay unless you check the sheets, under the bed and in the kitchen cupboards.

Excellent home- would recomend to everyone...

This home was excellent... great beds, great variety in choices for pillows, lots of hot water for all, quiet area, nice outdoor space, great outdoor furniture. And VERY freindly and helpful owner/manger. The only issues we encountered was a little confusion in regards to the laundry screen being locked. But easy access to the yard via the lounge area. And due to us not wanting to run the heating all night... we needed more blankets.

Disappointing Stay

The property initially seemed like a wonderful, family-friendly place with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. However, our experience was unfortunately marred by numerous disappointments.The most significant issue was the non-functional central heating. All three bedrooms were freezing cold at night. Even with the lounge room's fire heater running continuously, the warmth didn't reach the bedrooms. We had to request additional heaters, receiving one the next day and another even later. This was particularly critical as we were traveling with two infants and elderly parents, for whom warmth is essential. Ultimately, only two rooms were adequately heated, forcing some of our party to sleep in the lounge area.Upon arrival, we found the bin already full, which was quite unpleasant. We checked the instructions, which incorrectly stated that bin collection was on our arrival day. After putting the bin out, it remained uncollected. A text to the host revealed the incorrect information; they eventually offered to remove some rubbish to make space.The laundry room lacked proper ventilation. When the dryer was in use, it either soaked the floor or released excessive mist into the kitchen, creating an uncomfortably humid environment throughout the area.Finally, we were surprised by a 200 bond deduction from my credit card without any prior communication. It took us some time to investigate the source of this expense, causing unnecessary concern that it might be a scam.
